DELICIOUS Burgers and Fries! We shared the Jungle Burger today. Oh my gosh. SO GOOD! Old fashioned burgers that are worth every dime (very reasonable prices considering fast food prices are ridiculous). The Jungle Burger has a thin slice of ham and a thick juicy slice of pineapple. Ordered a mushroom swiss burger and a cheeseburger, they could've been good, adequate except the cook burnt our buns. Both sides were totally "black". Our burgers were not good, all we could taste was the burnt. The cook should've started over as this is not acceptable. Don't think we will be back if this is the way they do stuff. BAD, BAD, BAD!!!! the hamburgers are thin as a sheet of paper, overdone and dry as a bone!!!! I don't know who gave them a high rating, but they must have been starving, to even eat the food. I hate Burger King, but it is 100 times better than Gorilla Grill. I have been to both in La Center, and they are equally terribly. Do not eat there. The one is in the Chevron in La Center and the other is at Paradise Market at the Shell Station on the out skirts!!!! YUCK!!!! This is inside Chevron. You pretty much get what one would expect from a gas station burger served up in a styrofoam box. If you are the type of person that orders burgers from a gas station I imagine you are not expecting much to begin with. The food tastes like ass, gas, styrofoam, and grease. If the food wasn't bad enough, the service sucks too. My original review was reported / removed and strangely all of the other bad reviews this place had are gone as well. This place is VERY inconsistent...when it's good it is good. When it's not it is a total waste of money and time. Make sure you check your order before you leave with takeout...we are shorted items on a regular basis and have to go back. Unfortunately the food is not good most of the time...you never know what you are going to get when you order here. read more
