Good Experience at Shake Shack! Overall, I had a good experience at Shake Shack! I tried a standard cheeseburger, fries, a chicken sandwich, and a strawberry lemonade. The fries were really good and nicely seasoned. The burger was alright -- next time I'd definitely add bacon, lettuce, and tomato to give it a little more flavor and make it more my style. The chicken sandwich was really good, especially the sauce, which added a lot of flavor. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and paired nicely with everything. The staff were super nice and helpful. They did a great job keeping the tables clean, bringing orders out, and making sure the dining area stayed nice. My only downside was having to order through a tablet instead of directly with someone, but the staff still made the experience feel welcoming. The atmosphere is nice, and the location is pretty spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which is a big plus. Overall, good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. 2 star is pretty much for the service. My young teenage son and his 2 friends went today to take advantage of the free burger offer for National burger day. They downloaded the app on their phone and ordered their burgers expecting one to be free with the promo code. When they picked up their order, they only saw one. These boys asked the person at the counter to help them and showed their phone with the app and the promo code. All 3 were brushed off, told that they missed a step. When they asked if the promo could be honor they told them no. They felt so let down and will probably never visit this location again. With so many burger places in town, they are going to pick one with friendlier and helpful staff that actually cares about returning customers. The burgers were ok. It isn't a bad meal by any means, but it doesn't necessarily stand out against other local competition. I noticed a Korean-inspired menu, which is a great creative touch, though nothing particularly jumped out at me during this visit. It's a decent option if you're nearby, but perhaps not a destination spot. The atmosphere is your typical fast-food setup, and the service was pleasant enough. Gluten free review $ Alright, gluten-free girl walkin' into Shake Shack like, "Let's see if this chain knows what a celiac is." Spoiler: They do! They let you know that things are cooked in the same fryer. The good news is that doesn't bother me, specifically. I ordered a burger with their gluten-free bun, which was honestly a nice little surprise. The burger? A little dry. Not Sahara desert dry, but definitely in "do I have any ketchup in my bag?" territory. Thankfully, I dressed it up a bit and made it work. Next time I will ask if they can toast the bun. As a gluten free someone this is a huge difference. Otherwise it was a little too dry. The chocolate shake? Pretty tasty. Price-wise, the burger didn't bankrupt me, which felt like a win. My chicken sandwich has a strange batter coated chicken breast which wasn't all that bad, just a lot of grease. What I detested most was the way the ingredients slid out of the sandwich and ended up on the table, not once, but three times, so much so that I had to finish it deconstructed. M said her veggie burger didn't sit well with her the remainder of the day. Crinkle fries were disgustingly bad. Cold, and tasted worse than store bought frozen fries. Why do they make them in advance and serve them cold after sitting out so long? The strawberry shake was a joke with artificial strawberry flavor and not a single strawberry. There are much better burger options in Vancouver. Killer Burger makes an awesome burger never frozen patties, and fries are made to order. When In n Out opens in Ridgefield they cut their fries by hand and burgers are never frozen. Burgerville makes an okay burger but the shakes are amazing with fresh ingredients, like pieces of fruit. Shake Shack, do better. Your prices are way high for the quality of the food and you struggle to even get the food right. I also didn't like the no drink station, no self serve condiments except ketchup, and the locked bathrooms. Really? I don't think there is another restaurant or fast food place anywhere on 164th that has locked restrooms. Not that type of neighborhood, but you sure act like it is with the lack of self serve refills and the bathrooms. Strange like the food. First and last time. Deleting the app from my phone. We went on opening day and everything was OK though like many of the other reviewers had mentioned, value was lacking. The double cheeseburger was of the smash burger variety and plenty tasty. But for about $11, it seemed only slightly bigger than a quarter-pounder. The 2 scoop custard was rich and tasty but also on the smallish side at about $6. Being day one, everyone was happy, friendly & attentive. Clean, spartan, high ceilings with outdoor seating available made for a pleasant experience. But $17 for a lunch-size fast-food meal is not a good value. It's often been said that the California had In-n-Out and the New York had Shake Shack. As time went on Shake Shack had grown beyond the confines of the East and has beaten In-N-Out to opening a location in Vancouver. And I'm glad they did! If you've never been to a Shake Shack before, their claim to fame has been their Shakes and their Burgers. Their Shakes are definitely superior and have a quality to them that you don't feel is as "fast food"-like, and their burgers are juicy and well seasoned. Some places are known to be cheap, some are due to their sauce, but Shake Shack just tries to be a step above in every category. In this case, it includes service! Shake Shack isn't a fancy place, but even on Grand Opening day amidst their crazy busy schedules they were very efficient and exceptionally friendly. During my wait, I sat at an empty table for my takeout order. I was regularly checked on to see if I wanted water, or if they could help with anything else while I waited for my food. Every minute or two another order was being fulfilled with smiles. Vancouver has no shortage of burger options, but this Shake Shack easily outperforms the competition in the area. First time eating at The Shake Shack in Vancouver and it was amazing from start to finish! We shared the Shack Burger and Fries and it was so delicious! We added bacon and pickles (to die for!) to the burger and two drinks. We sat outside on a gorgeous sunny day and it was perfect. Sara brought our food out to us when it was ready and asked if we were sharing the burger ...she brought us a knife extra napkins and a tray so we didn't have to share! WOW. As we were leaving she even topped off my Diet Coke! What?!?! :) When is the last time you had that kind of service and attention at any other fast food restaurant? (Never!) Food: Rating: 3.8-4/5. First off, I ordered the shack burger meal with dbl patties. It's basically a deluxe double cheeseburger, fries, a drink. What makes this burger stand out for me is the patty. The beef patty actually tastes like real beef. To me, a burger can have lots of fancy toppings and sauces but if the patty is not real beef, well then the burger ain't that great. Shake Shack has real beef in their patties, a beefy flavor that to me makes a great burger. The toppings were your average toppings of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, melty cheese, that secret burger sauce. Fries were average like any fast food chain not terrible but not the best fries you've ever had. Service: slow and needs improvement with picking up the pace. There was not that many customers but our burgers took some time. Ambiance: average. Pricing: I think the burgers are priced higher for the quality of the burgers, menu items. Shake Shack is like Five Guys Burgers but less greasy in my opinion however, Five Guys is priced lower than Shake Shack. Overall I would go back because Shake Shack just reminds me of a good old fashioned Cheeseburger with wholesome ingredients. Overall rating: 4/5. I love Shake Shack! I first tried Shake Shack in NYC in 2012, and have always loved their burgers. I have been to the Beaverton location a few times, a location in Fort Worth, TX once, and I have walked away extremely pleased each time. The Vancouver location was busy, but we only had to wait in line to use the self service kiosk for about 5 minutes. There were four of us and we ordered two Shack single cheeseburgers ($7) and two Shack double cheeseburgers with bacon ($11). We also ordered two regular fries ($4.49) and two cajun fries ($4.99). Our food order only took about 15 minutes before it was delivered to our table by a friendly and helpful employee. The burgers were hot and delicious. The meat is so tasty with 100% humanely raised angus beef. The potato bun is also quite delectable. The Shake Sauce is tangy and pairs well with the burger. The burger comes with lettuce and tomato. The crinkle cut fries were hot, crispy and perfect when dipped in Shack Sauce. We also ordered a chocolate shake ($5.99) and a cookies and cream shake ($5.99). Both were scrumptious. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Not sure why the rating is so low for this Shake Shack location. The food is not cheap, but the quality makes it worth the price. read more

I had actually pulled up to try this place out the weekend after they opened in April 2025, but not only was the line going out the door, I realized they don't have a drive-through. I didn't try them until about a month later, when a friend and I came in on a Wednesday night. This place is kind of expensive for what feels like a fast-food joint - I mean, you put in your order on an iPad that asks for a tip. The burger I ordered had plenty of sauce and other condiments, but the meat was just...not juicy and pretty much flavorless. It was served well wrapped and packaged so that it looked almost exactly like it did in the pictures on the iPad. In contrast, the side of fried pickles I ordered were fantastic. We've had Shake Shack before when we were on vacation in California a few years ago. We finally got a location in our town and decided to come by and have it again since it's been a few years. It was super busy and lots of people were standing near the door for their food. There are 4 kiosks to place orders at to the left of the restaurant and 1 person at the counter taking orders. We chose to order at the kiosk. Order process was easy. Wait was a little long, but understandable since they recently opened and they were busy. We chose to sit outside. Waited over 20 mins for our food. While we were waiting, one of the crew members came outside to ask if we wanted a couple ice waters. She was so nice and friendly. The customer service was great! And the food was good. Our burgers were flavorful and fresh! Will definitely come back again to try other burgers. read more

I dined alone, and I find that just a bit too high and not in line with my idea of value. Not when there is an In-n-out going in soon with a more reasonably priced menu. Burgerville is now a bargain at this price point. I had the smoke burger, a double. I also hand a small portion of crinkle fries with cheese and bacon bits, and an iced tea/lemonade. With tip, my total was $27. As I said, burger was really good, not the biggest crinkle fry fan, but they were decent, and the drink was as expected. Went on opening day and the vibe was positive and the door greeter was super cool. In order for me to be a regular, they need to take a look at maybe offering some $$Incentives or deals.
