Philly with onions and peppers

This is me and my wife's fav Philly cheese steak place in or around Vancouver/portland. It doesn't miss. Anytime we are in Vancouver we go to this place,so good! Customer for life

Cheesesteak

Came here with high hopes having heard the place was pretty good. I wasn't overly blown away to be honest. No whiz offering was one issue, but also the cheesesteak felt a little skimpy and just didn't blow me away. It can work if you're in the area, but my quest for a great Philly cheesesteak continues.

I got the steak cheesesteak with Parmesan bread. The meat is definitely cooked to order, piping hot. I almost burned my mouth when I took a bite. The Parmesan bread was very soft. The steak, cheese and mayo combo was juicy and flavorful. It's a good cheesesteak. There's good amount of parking here since it's in the same complex of a Fred Meyer. Each day of the week they have a special sandwich/sub where they discount $1 for a 6 inch or $2 for a 12 inch.

Not a bad spot for a quick sandwich. It was our first time there for a stop and go lunch. The staff was welcoming and the order didn't take long to be prepared. Even through the appearance of the subs wasn't great, the taste was pretty good. We did wish that the cheesesteaks were a bit more cheesy, however, not bad at all. About $30 for 2 subs and a drink.

Delicious food, I liked the Philly fries the best. Quick service and clean space. Definitely an enjoyable foodie experience.

On our drive back to the bay from Seattle, I was trying to find a lunch spot for takeout. Bruchi's popped up after a quick look at the menu we made our choices. We ordered the New Yorker sub and the Pepper Steak sub. The pepper steak had tender steak, jalapeño peppers, pepperoncinis and cheese of course. It was so good. The photo doesn't do it justice, but when you're hungry and trying to eat on the go you can't really take a great photo. I didn't try the New Yorker but my husband agreed mine was the best. I'm excited to see there's a Bruchi's in Sacramento, just a tad bit closer to us.

Flavorless. Waste of $28. I got a foot long supreme Philly and their Philly fries. I don't think they used any type of seasoning at all

It took a while to get my order, but it seemed as if they hired a new worker and were showing him he ropes on how to properly make a good cheesesteak sandwich. The person teaching seemed like he had a passion for the craft of assembling and making the sandwich. But needless to say, he did, because it was pretty fire in my opinion. The beef was delicious! Very well seasoned and accompanied by the onions and swiss cheese, the sandwich was to die for! The peppers worked extremely well, and the roll that they used was super soft and toasted as well. The presentation of the sandwich was simple, but you're able to peer directly in and see all the ingredients inside the sandwich. Beef was tender and each bite was a melty, cheesy, burst of flavor in my mouth.

We had heard of mix reviews from Steakadelphia in Beaverton, on Saturday my son and I took a trip…read moreto taste for ourselves, we were not disappointed. The shop is located right after the Budget Rental Car building off of Canyon Road, you turn left going east into the parking lot as you pass the Budget building, the sandwich shop is right next to the hot tub shop on the left of the lot, ample parking is available. The interior has a few tables but seating is limited if you plan on eating in. The menu board is basic and to the point. You can create your own sandwich or select from the various options. A key fact, they only serve one size sandwich a 12 inch. I ordered the chicken with pepperjack cheese, hot peppers (they are hot), black olives, pickles and mayo (I will share that you might ask for a smaller spread of mayo if you are not a huge mayo fan), my son ordered the Supreme with steak, mayo, unions, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, mushrooms and steak sauce on a soft white roll. The bread was amazingly soft and holds up well with all of the toppings. The sandwich taste was amazing, it took about 8 min or so to get our order but well worth the wait, they sandwiches were packed with toppings, nice and hot proteins, we also ordered fries with cheese dip, the french fry order was much larger than expected glad that we shared them, the cheese dip is also very tasty. We look forward to our next sandwich.

Atmosphere: Food truck pod…read more Food: I was very excited when I got the cheesesteak. It was piping hot and I had high hopes, especially with Whiz. The whiz was done right and was nice and thin as opposed to being too thick like some places do it. I appreciated the idea behind putting multiple cheese types in here, but I think it probably would have been better with just whiz. Unfortunately, my biggest gripe with this sandwich was that the meat used was pretty clearly chopped up burger meat as opposed to the typical shaved steak that you would typically encounter in a cheesesteak. While I hoped that this wouldn't make too much of a difference and would still be an enjoyable sandwich, I just couldn't overlook it as I ate the sandwich. Price: $17 for a cheesesteak (as of June 12, 2025). Reubens were $19. Prices are a bit high in my opinion Service: Excellent service. Very friendly and accommodating Parking: Street parking. Parking in the area can be a little tight but you can find something if you don't mind walking a couple blocks

I kept my pants on for that one. The chopped cheese though? That blew my face off. One of the best things you can get on a hoagie this side of the Mississippi. Get that. Go home and eat it. Go to sleep. Wake up, and go back and get it again. Elite stuff. The rest of the menu looked pretty sexy too. (4.7 Stars)

At the Clark County Fair…read more This stand is one of the many reasons I enjoy coming to the Clark County Fair (especially when the weather is great!) The sandwich proves quite good (especially for Fair Food!) The bread is soft and fresh, the cheese is a plenty and flavorful, and the meat proves well seasoned and grilled without a hint of gristle. Let your mouth water over this baby!: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/philly-cheesesteaks-diner-ridgefield?select=9IeZzWa56SJY97Yr5pjlgA#9IeZzWa56SJY97Yr5pjlgA Service has been incredibly nice. With all the great choices and types of food here make sure you save room for one of their sammies! Seating can be found at any of the nearby picnic tables. This location is inside a covered area.

I question the previous reviewer. Looks like the guy doing the cooking (the sun glasses are a dead…read moregiveaway!) or maybe a friend of the owner. This is County Fair food. Overpriced. When I got it, I was shocked to feel an ice cold bun. Balloon bread and not your Amorosa's or ABC bread you'd get in Philly nor an attempt to a close approximation that you find at other Philly CheeseSteak outfits in the PDX - 'Couve area. It was real nice and dripping and I thought "Ah the sign of a true Cheese Steak" BUT it was WATER not the combination of cooking juices you'd expect. Turns out that I was buying a "Roast Beef au Jus" with onions and "cheese" sauce added and not a grilled CheeseSteak. The cheese is a cheese sauce of questionable origin. They offered me Swiss but I declined because I wanted to see what they are offering. So if you like Roast Beef au Jus then this is your place! :-( Just order it with the Swiss or better yet without cheese! The highlight was that I asked for extra onions and got it in Spades! It made for a bigger sandwich so I can't comment on portion size otherwise. I will not be looking for this place when the Clark County Fair comes around again next year (unless I am in the mood for a dripping Roast Beek au Jus!!) SIGH! P.S. the curly fries are underdone and greasy but that's OK with me.
