The food is great. I don't know how you complain about their cheesesteak or even more. So how would you ever complain against their house made pastrami which my wife have said some of the best she'd eaten. The portion sizes are large and as you can see we shared one regular size basket of fries between us and it was really more than we could eat. There are several coolers of beers and soft drinks and ciders, so you should be able to find something you like in those categories unless you're extremely picky or don't drink out of a can. If you don't like canned drinks, they also have a soda fountain Service was fast. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The food came out and we just devoured it. It was all very good The place was pretty basic on the inside but it was clean and comfortable. So we're happy and we'll be going back. I recommend it

My new favorite sandwich shop. Three of us. Ordered a 16" to share for two, and a Brooklyn pastrami/ham/mustard and cheesy fries and fried ravioli, which I had never tried. When we ordered the 16" to share, we wanted different cheeses on the halves. No problem for them They brought out the fresh hot crispy cheesy raviolis. I loved them. A lot of cheese but not tooooo much. And crispy. Best with marinara Food came out hot and fresh in a very reasonable time. When the cheesesteak to share came out, we were all kind of surprised at how small it was. However., the cheese volume was impressive with great penetration. And then my pastrami came out and looked epic. Lots of meat, thick toasted bread that wasn't soggy and super well seasoned. But..it gets better. The "small" sandwich we received was actually only 1/2 of the whole sandwich! They took the time to not just cut a sandwich in half... but to prepare a separate sandwich with the separate cheese!! That was a first for us. And it was DELICIOUS!!! Lots of cheese all throughout, fresh lean steak, chopped , cooked and seasoned well. We didn't get our cheesy fries and noticed it wasnt on the receipt. But that's ok because we were so full. I ordered two of "cheap beers" cause they were on special. I noticed after I paid I was overcharged for them, and they immediately not only refunded the price, it gave us a $5 coupon as an apology. Class act. Tons of beer choices and a nice clean restaurant also. Very good staff.

This is hands down the best Rueben in Vancouver I've had so far. I hope this place continues to get business and stays consistent because my sandwich was great. Happy to have tried this place and it's in Vancouver not over the bridge! The wait was on the longer side but I've waited longer for crappy food before and would wait again for this!

Best pastrami in town!!! Excellent Italian! Fries were very large portions, but so good

Stopped in for the housemade pastrami Rueben on sourdough, an Italian, and fries. Both sandwiches were top notch! Reminds me of NYC deli sandwiches. Great variety of cans and bottles in beer, ciders, seltzers, NA. Coming back for some Philly cheesesteaks to celebrate my Eagles winning on Sunday. Service was great. Price was reasonable. On Wednesdays you get a $5 coupon for your next visit!

Their reviews from their grand opening were not great, but they seem to be finding their footing as none of the complaints I saw were an issue in my order. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly. They weren't too busy, but had a fair amount of would-be locals checking out their menu and making small talk as well as a number of takeout orders. It's a very casual atmosphere, and the staff was quick to answer any questions and be as helpful as can be. This is refreshing, and I hope the mundane day-to-day tasks of running a demanding storefront won't wear this down. While they're known for their Cheesesteaks, I opted to try out their Reuben instead. It took a little over 10 minutes to make, which isn't bad at all. Despite taking it home and having about 15 minutes gone by, it was still pretty hot and fresh. The sandwich itself was not light in the meat department, which is great. It had all the makings you'd expect in a Reuben. It was a bit too savory for my own specific tastes, as I couldn't taste much of the dressing, and it felt closer to a classic NY Pastrami. But this is just my personal preference. Not the best I've had, but good. I'd probably just go for their classic Pastrami next time and save the calories from the thousand island I couldn't even taste. My only real issue is their listed number in their website, and their Yelp page don't appear to work ( at least not in the day of this review). I had tried to find a way to put in an order for pickup to avoid wait times but was unable to. Overall it was a great sandwich stop for a quick treat. Definitely worth a try if you're into cheesesteaks or NY sandwiches.

We heard great reviews for this place and were excited to try it. I got the pastrami with pickles which was good but nothing great or worth $17+ dollars. The service was alright. Nothing to rave over. The husbands cheesesteak you could barely eat in a bad way. The ladies bathroom was disgusting but over all the ambiance was alright. Nothing to rave about. I wouldn't waste my money going there again.

Delicious sandwich! Bread was super soft. Portions were HUGE (worth the price!). Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted exactly like a Philly cheesesteak should! Beer selection is PRICEY (my 16 oz can was $6... oof!), but I'm grateful to have a vast selection close to home.

Intentionally set earlier in the day understanding the significance of the day. (Been together over 20 years.) When we arrived my husband kindly requested a window table with view of the water. The woman taking the reservation info advised that she would try, but "so busy" etc. We were sat at a half circular booth that was facing water but set back from water. I just want to note there were 7 tables open at window seating. 3 of which were 2 tops. We did have 3, so essentially for us, 4 EMPTY tables could have accommodated our request. 2 remained empty the entirety of our meal. So I just can't understand why this request wouldn't be granted. Waitress we were assigned was amazing. On top of things, refills etc. We got the wing appetizer, cheese curds, and the wedge salad as appetizers. They were all good. The wings I would get with no sauce. The sauce on them was very ketchup reminiscent. For the entrees we both did the steak frites. Fries were amazing. The steak was sooooo tough. Medium rare didn't save them. Our child got the half pizza and demolished. For dessert we got the cookie with ice cream and the valentines special cheesecake. Both were delicious. Overall 3.5. Could use some help at front. If you don't realize you have that many free tables and could easily accommodate a paying customer the table they prefer, it just simply doesn't make sense. At the end, I did ask manager why we wouldn't be able to sit where we requested and there really was just no good reason. It was just a shrug like it was a busy day. Like I guess maybe saving for make believe guests?? LOL unreal. It's not often I would question things. But this was just absurd. Again, I need to say, our waitress was amazing. Food was fine. Just a very weird experience as far as seating. Like who are you saving those seats for?? Anywho. Enjoy!
