This fun, neighborhood bar has been building up and gaining steam for quite a while now. We love to go here for a chill date night, I take friends, I have accidentally stumbled into trivia on Wednesdays. Tonight I stumbled into the great deals they have on Thursdays ($5 well drinks, $ off of beer and wine). There's always something. They have board games you can sit and play. Indoor seating, a big outdoor patio with heaters to cut the chilled evenings and umbrellas to give shade. It was busy when we arrived around 7 tonight and stayed busy most of the time we were there. You order at the bar but they will bring your food to you when it's ready. Their menu is decent for a small place. Tonight was the first night I had ever eaten the food. Gluten free options are limited but I got the hot honey pizza on a gluten free crust. It. Was. Delicious. Life changing. I ate the whole thing. It was not a personal pan pizza. The combination of flavors...spicy and sweet and salty...one of the best things I have eaten recently. I might go back tomorrow. This is a local, independent, woman-owned business that makes you feel like you can stay a while and like you should come back again soon. They have discounts for military folks and a special section of their menu for dogs. Highly recommend. read more

I am pleasantly surprised by this spot. The Margherita pizza was bomb - thin, crisp crust; robust sauce and simple toppings. Only $16 too! Perfect for two people to share. I also ordered the Murdertini. It was a perfect blend of liqueurs and lemon juice. read more

Nice place inside. Order at the bar. Looked to have a large patio, but it was raining so we sat inside. The bartender was really nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary. It might've been no frills but easily one of the best ones I've ever had. The breakfast pizza was good. We both agreed it needed more gravy or a side of gravy to dip it in. Have been several times now, cute little place with an outdoor (heated) patio! Great small bites, pizza, and drinks. Would also recommend their Weenie Wednesdays - which also happens to be their trivia night! The only downside can sometimes be parking availability. The staff is always fantastic. read more

My buddy said have you been here they have pizza, so of course I was gonna go. We walked up to the bar to get a drink & the bar tender free poured with no measuring cup & that is a plus in my book - oh and the old fashioned was good! Now onto the bar style pizza: Hot honey which had that , red sauce , jalapeños, it was a lil crunchy as bar pies are , sweet & spicy went together well. The drunken Grove is a great hole in the wall bar with fast service and friendly. They offer trivia night and other theme night during the summer. We will definitely be back for sure when we can sit on the outdoor patio place. read more

Met friends here last night for their grand opening. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. This is a women-owned business. You can tell a lot of hard work went into renovating the space. The ladies are super nice and the bar is super cool. Love the leather barrel chairs at the bar and the neon sign on the wall. It's pretty small inside, but they have the tables set up well for efficiency. They also have a nice large outdoor seating area with heaters to keep warm. Love the crow figure tops on the poles with string lights. You order at the bar, they give you a number sign to put at your table for food, and they bring it to you. Pretty efficient processes, but the line did get long to pay your bill before leaving. The beers were good. My husband enjoyed the Icicle Alpenhaze. It was a light and somewhat sweet beer. My friend ordered the Nightwing cocktail and it was yummy. I'm not usually a bourbon fan, but the blackberry and lemon flavors paired well. They have a decent variety of food on their menu, including pizzas, appetizers and desserts. We ordered the chips and salsa, pretzels with beer cheese fondue and a Margherita pizza. All the food was really good! The pizza had a nice thin crust which we prefer. We tried the raspberry cheesecake rolls with ice cream for dessert. They were super yummy! I sat outside with my friend, very basic area on the side, would be better with a nice fence in, some hanging lights/plants, just a bit more ambiance. The door to get in and out to the outside seating is so heavy haha, I managed but I did see an older woman struggle. Margarita pizza was great, I always order extra red sauce but I will say it's not needed on this, perfect amount (now I know for next time). When food was brought out, we were not given plates, so we ate off napkins. The owner kindly gave me the dessert, which was good although I think switching from egg roll wrappers to wonton would be easier to eat (egg roll wasn't fully cooked and inside burst out making it messy) and offer a dipping sauce rather than having it drizzled on top. The place was clean, ladies working were very nice, and made me belly laugh at a conversation we had on our way out. We finally stopped in for our first time tonight. They are always busy when we pass by, so we had to try it out before the end of summer. Tasha was very busy serving drinks to what seemed to be a never ending line of patrons. Everyone had smiles, including Tasha! I'm fortunate to have some pretty awesome people in my life, and as such, came the invitation for dinner and a drink. I found myself here on my bday! We arrived at 6:30 on a Thursday evening - the location is easy to find and the parking lot was decent sized (even though it is shared with other businesses). We stroll in the front door (opting to eat indoors solely because the music playing was ), order our food and drinks at the bar, and within 20 mins, piping hot pizzas are delivered to our table. The combo was excellent, and I'm told the hot honey was on point. We had 2 orders of Dirty Bird tots (one was ordered with "extra beer cheese" which made for the ability to dip pretzels, pizza crusts, and anything else dippable, into the warm, cheesy goodness) and everyone agreed it was so good. The service was great, no complaints! Love that this is woman owned and so close to home. It is just what the reviews say - an upscale neighborhood bar with crafty cocktails and tasty food offerings. Our new favorite! Awesome patio if you happen to have dog. Ours gives it a 10! The pup cup 10/10. Service and staff are great. Such a cool vibe. Total bar/pub experience. Hang with your people place. Let's talk cocktails; I've now been there day drinking two days in a row. The Murdertini is so good. If you like the Ruby at El Gaucho you will love this. We tried a variety of food options. Love this hidden Gem! My lovely wife and I found ourselves free on a early Friday afternoon and wanted to go out and have a bite. We love finding a place that we have not yet been and experiencing something new. I looked through Yelp and narrowed it to places not far from home and found the Drunken Cow. We are so glad we did. We arrived early and were lucky enough to park right in front. A place you most likely have passed and not known it. A very intimate space that was inviting and charming. You order at the bar here so we stepped up next in line. We ordered the Hot Honey and the Combo pizzas and a couple of beers. We elected to sit outside in a corner booth which was nice. Our pizzas came out pretty fast and they were delicious! 2 pizzas was more than we could eat so we had some to take home. The crust was thin and crunchy and the toppings were fantastic! We really enjoyed both pies. When I returned to the bar to order another beer, the tables inside had filled and the line was to the door. This place was popping and it was not even 6 yet. The line move quickly and I was served straight away. We ordered the Raspberry Cheesecake rolls to go. I wish we would have had them there as we made a stop on the way home and did not eat them for about an hour. They were great but I bet even better if eaten fresh from the kitchen. They young lady at the bar was a delight. This was our first time in and she explained the pizzas, the amounts we should consider and about the beers on tap. She let us sample the beer we had not had so we would enjoy the beer we ordered. Even when it was packed towards the end she still had the same pleasantness and attentiveness. We will absolutely be back soon to the Drunken Crow and make this a regular spot like so many others obviously have. The reviews speak the truth with nearly perfect scores. Wanted something different. I picked this place and the hot honey pizza looked good. We did take out, I called and ordered to go. The on line menu didn't show the size of the pizza but we went with it ordred a dessert as well. Picked up the pizza and paid, for what we got it wasn't a lot. I just paid the bill and left. When I got home I looked it up again and the numbers didn't add up. 16 for the pizza and 6 for the dessert and the bill was a little over 30? I called and asked if there was a service charge for take out and she said yes. Even with tax, it came to a $6.00 take out charge. Not that it's going to break the bank, but if they are going charge for take out, it really should be on the menu or at least the person who took my order should have let me know. It looked like a really cute place to go and I might give it another go. Just be aware of those fees! read more
