Much has changed here since my last review, so I thought I should update it. They have expanded the space inside to include a larger bathroom, which is awesome considering they only had one gender neutral bathroom available when we first started coming here. There are more tables too, both normal height and high tops. They've also added a pool table and cornhole, in addition to the original ping pong table. Their menu has evolved as well. In addition to pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers, they've added a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese, spinach artichoke dip and ice cream floats. They have a nice variety of beers and ciders. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We love their QR code ordering system. It helps you get your food faster and you can just pay your tab on your phone. Such a convenience! You can also make reservations online, which is great for large parties. As others have mentioned, it is located in an odd industrial area set back from the main road. It's easy to miss if you're not watching for their sign. There's plenty of parking and a large outdoor seating area during the summer. Their food prices have gone up, and some items seem a little steep now, but that seems to be happening everywhere nowadays. read more

Friendly service from the moment I walked in. The other patrons (some regulars) were friendly as well. Lots of space inside. The bar stools are nice and comfy. Several outdoor seating options too. Several beers on tap but I love IPAs, so that's what I got. The 5k was my favorite. The Santa Fe chicken sandwich was quite good. Plenty of flavor there. Stopped in real quick on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. Obviously a popular spot as there were locals enjoying some brews and food. We opted for a beer and a cider, both were good. We decided to try the Ruben pizza. They have an open pizza oven onsite that adds to the appeal of the brewery. The Ruben was better than expected. The sauce added tang and red peppers were a welcome addition for a delicious pie. Come for the beer, stay for a pizza. Plenty of seating, typical warehouse space turned brewery. Dropped in for a lunch beer, decided on a half pesto bacon turkey sandwich & so glad I did. It was fantastic. Everything was fresh and tasty, the sourdough bread really stood out. We were in Vancouver visiting our son, we end up going to this brewery 4 times. The Oktoberfest beer, and hard seltzer were awesome. The pretzel and beer cheese was amazing. Great spot with lots of seating. They have pool, ping pong, corn hole, and shuffle board. Lots of TV screens and outdoor patio benches. They give you the balls to play as long as you leave an ID. You order off a QR code which was easy. I prefer ordering in person but this works I guess. Food came out fast and everyone enjoyed their food. It is a little bit pricey, $27 for a flat bread pizza. The beer was good. We got a raspberry beer and a Japanese Pilsner of some type. Both we liked. It's inside of a parking lot with kind of an industrial feel. There is nothing to look and no view. Ghost Runners is doing the family-friendly brewery thing right. Pizza and a bunch of free games? Who wouldn't have a good time here. Our group enjoyed drinks and shared a couple of pizzas. I was very impressed with the quality of the pizza! I would happily come back just for another slice. And the hummus plate wasn't half bad. You can either order at the counter or via QR codes provided at each table. It's a seamless process! We played Uno, pool, and corn hole while watching one of the football games being broadcasted. (All provided by GR!) Even though it was a busy night we still got our food quickly, didn't have to wait long to play games, and felt very looked after by the staff. My wife and I, along with our dog have visited this brewery on several occasions and always leave happy and satisfied. Although built out in a warehouse, the interior is spacious, warm and welcoming. There are numerous games available including corn hole, ping pong and pool. Service has always been friendly, welcoming and helpful. The beer selection is clean, creative and correct for the style. Food is awesome, but especially the pizza. Highly recommend a visit. read more

I ordered the 5K IPA and found it lacking in flavor, to much barley or caramel. At $7.50 a glass I wouldn't recommend. The reservation system also felt unnecessary for a brewpub. When we arrived, the place wasn't busy at all, yet the staff seemed inconvenienced by our presence since we didn't have a reservation. It created a pretty unwelcoming first impression. We paired this with a West Coast, IPA and a hazy IPA both enjoyable. You do order at the table or the counter, which was no problem friendly service. Our food came out very quickly. We recommend all three! They had a projector with the NBA finals on, a good selection of board games and offer an entire section dedicated to foosball tables, as well as darts I believe. We liked everything so much we ordered another round of drinks to finish our pizza. After conversing with the gentleman that greeted us we learn he was actually the owner and learned about his growth and goals for the business. We found Ghost Runners by accident and it's been the best thing to happen in my life in more years than I'd like to admit. My husband and I have been coming here since the beginning of 2021 and we have developed so many amazing friendships between the staff and the regulars, it truly is a hidden gem. I understand people have bad experiences from time to time, but that's everywhere. This place is truly Vancouver's "Cheers" brewery. You come for the beer and food but stay for the people. They have a great variety of beers, Elite Belgium is very good, Ruben sandwich is excellent. Their iceberg salad is crip and has perfect amount of blue cheese. Stopped in at Ghost Runners kind of on a whim after a hike, wasn't expecting much but it ended up being exactly what i needed. Place has that chill, not-too-fancy vibe but the food and beer are way better than you'd think at first glance. I grabbed one of their IPAs (can't remember which, it had a running-themed name like all of them do) and a burger, and both hit. Burger was stacked but not over the top, actually seasoned right, and the fries were crispy, not that soggy mess you get some places. Staff was solid too, not trying to upsell everything, just friendly and on it. You can tell they care about what they're doing. I ended up staying for another round and kinda just posted up for a bit. It's the kind of spot you could go with friends or solo and not feel weird about it. With regard to the service, everything was done through the QR system. My wife ordered the wedge salad - and would have liked to substitute the dressing but there was no option for that in the system. There was one server for the entire bar and our entire interaction was a very hasty drop the food and go. The server didn't check in with us at all. The sandwich was ok, although comes with potato chips rather than fries, which are obviously less expensive for the establishment. All in all, I'd probably go somewhere else next time. read more

What a hidden gem. We have visited twice once for Dine The Couve and just recently to try their amazing sandwiches. Tucked back in an industrial park I had no idea an amazing Pizza, sandwich and craft beer brewery/restaurant was back there! First visit was for pizza and cider. We tried their 12" Craft Pizza called Combo Marathon Pizza- Signature red sauce , mozzarella, pepperoni, salami, bacon, mushrooms, red onions, tomato, red and green bell peppers, with roasted garlic and artichokes. It was super delicious. I was not prepared for how incredible their pizza was going to be. It is now one of my favorite pizza places in Vancouver. The crust was crispy in all the right ways. The cheese and toppings were impressive in flavor and quantity and baked to perfection. Usually pizza takes a while we got our pizza in about 12 minutes which, is amazing when you are starving. We also ordered a couple Pear Ciders. Second visit we ordered a sandwich called BEST REUBEN EVER! WE THINK to share because they are large. Ingredients were- Sliced pastrami, melty swiss, sauerkraut, GRB Ruben spread on rye bread. Served with chips and a pickle. Now, I have had a lot of Ruben's this Ruben is now on my top 10 list. The pastrami was plentiful, delicious and so tender. The sauerkraut was perfectly portioned and that melty Swiss with Ghost Runners special Ruben spread,YUM! The sandwich held together nice while eating which is one of my judging factors. The atmosphere is really laid back. They have plenty of seating for large groups. The space is large and open so you don't feel confined especially now a days post Covid. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. We felt like regulars when we returned because they actually welcomed us back (it had been a couple weeks) I didn't expect it, how refreshing.
