Went there to meet a buddy for a cougars football game. This bar turns into a cougars bar when the Washington State Cougars play. So a lot of cool cougar fans there. The beers are pretty good there and they have a large selection of local microbrews on tap there. I got the bbq and Thai wings. They were really good. But if you like crispy skin on the wings this is not the place. The skin is kind of soft and spongy. But I woofed them down because I was hungry and they were actually pretty good.. I cannot remember her name but our waitress was a very pretty blonde lady and she did a great job. I look forward to going back again. Note if you go here and have a few beers be careful driving. The Ridgefield cops patrol the area around this bar like flies on poop..

Great beer tap list, lots to choose from. Plenty of seats, indoor and outdoor covered seating. The outdoor area is enclosed and has heaters for those chillier nights. Good atmosphere, appears to be family friendly. Keep in mind there were no baby changing tables in either bathroom. Service was fairly quick and they were polite. Food was good, for some apps and some pizzas. Tried the brisket tots, Cajun tots w/ a yummy avocado ranch and pretzel w/ cheese. Enjoyed it all. Our table got the combo, margarita and chicken bacon ranch pizzas. I enjoyed them, I do recommend adding tomato or maybe an additional topping on the chicken bacon ranch. Overall it was a great place to get together with friends.

Ciders on tap were fantastic. Really enjoyed the Citrus Maximus. Pizza was ok. Hard to chew for a thin crust pizza. Service was good. Plenty of outdoor seating.

I went to Taps for my first time this past Wednesday night for their trivia, and it was so fun! Very packed too! The staff made the event very interactive, and were very attentive with taking orders and refilling our drinks. We tried the snowglobe drink, and I will definitely be back for it! I asked if they had fries and they only had tots, but those were actually addicting... I pretty much ate the entire order by myself. I've heard lots of good things about this place and their trivia nights and I can attest that this is a great place to hang out and spend time with people.

Inside its spread out, so even if it were busy, I don't think it would be overly loud. We arrived on Sunday just as they were switching from brunch to lunch and were promptly seated. Our waitress was attentive throughout our time there and explained their daily specials. Our table all opted for the daily special, which was a smash burger with fries for $10. I inquired if I could sub out for a veggie patty and the waitress said it was not an issue. Our food arrived within 15 minutes and everyone enjoyed the burgers. They were all topped with a delicious deep fried pickle chip, however I do wish they would have put actual pickles on the burgers. Otherwise, they were delicious! The veggie burger appeared to be homemade or at least higher quality as you could see the oats in the patty. The beef burgers were all thinly smashed and had the crispy edges you expect from a smash burger. Although they have a full bar, none of our table opted for a cocktail. This is definitely a good spot for a family meal or a brunch with friends.

Their food prices have gone up, and some items seem a little steep now, but that seems to be happening everywhere nowadays.

I had some fancy strawberry salad, and some homemade pretzels that were awesome! Both my sister and my mother had burgers, and they seemed happy with their choices. My one issue, which is no big deal really, is their up-charge for ordering a kid's burger for someone other than a kid... My mother is 89 years old, she can't put away a large burger, she wants something small. So, if we're pricing the burger based on its size, why does it matter who's eating it? ‍ To charge extra seems dishonest... I even pointed it out to the guy at the bar that it's for my 89-year-old mother, but did he care? Apparently not ‍ Nevertheless, that issue aside, it's a nice place for lunch. The name alone made us curious, and once we realized they served pizza, we were in. Inside, the space opens up to a medium-sized dining room with a few bar-top seats and a main counter where you order, grab a number, and seat yourself. We asked the staff for a pizza recommendation and were pointed straight to the sausage and peppers pie, made with Italian sausage and Mama Lil's peppers. Sold. We ordered a large, plus a Caesar salad, a glass of house white wine, and an IPA. They also serve liquor, which is a nice bonus. The menu leans Italian with pizzas, pastas, salads, and a meatball sandwich that immediately caught my eye, especially after seeing the table next to us order it. It looked very good. The Caesar salad came out first. The dressing was delicious, the croutons were solid, but my one critique is the presentation. It was served as whole romaine leaves, so you have to cut it yourself if you want a normal bite. Not a dealbreaker, just not my favorite style. Flavor-wise though, it was a good Caesar. Then the pizza arrived and--visually--wow. Gorgeous crust, great color, and toppings that looked perfectly balanced. But when we tried to lift a slice, reality hit. The center crust was rolled super thin and got weighed down by the toppings, making it too soft to hold up. You basically have to slide it onto your plate and eat it with a fork until you get closer to the crust. Once you hit that halfway point, though, it's fantastic. The crust edge was perfect. Flavor-wise, the pizza really delivered. The sausage was rich and savory, the Mama Lil's peppers added a great tangy heat, and there were dollops of what tasted like ricotta that tied everything together beautifully. We also added mushrooms and hot honey. You wouldn't know there was a structural issue just by looking at it. That said, I don't think I'd order the pizza again without trying something else first. I'm very curious about the meatball sandwich or a pasta dish to see how those stack up. I also learned Bunnies has a sister restaurant, Little Conejo, which I've been to a few times but haven't always loved. This spot feels like it has a lot of potential, and I'd definitely come back. I just want to be honest about the execution right now, because the flavors are there.

A staple every time I come here is the wedge salad. I could eat the whole thing. Then sun dried tomatoes are just so flavorful. It's the best. Today, I got the Gabagool pizza with the hot honey. Seriously, WOW. Even my husband said that it was THE BEST pizza he has ever had in his life. I know it's a bold claim, but it was truly that good. We also got the rigatoni, which my kids completely smashed. They absolutely loved it. ***Of all the pasta dishes, this is by far hands down the best one. The fettuccine Alfredo pasta was a bit too heavy and fell a little short of flavor. We've also had the carbonara, same thing. If the pancetta was a little more crispy and little less butter it would be good. All the staff is really nice and friendly. *Only thing I am not a fan of is the seating. People sitting on the big table won't allow you to sit in the middle or they give a major side eye. So you couldn't even sit there without feeling unwelcomed. The outdoor seating doesn't have heaters. The taller bar tables with the bar stools aren't safe for younger kids. 1 person was taking up the corner table which could fit a family of 5. It can get frustrating, and often times I don't go here because of the seating situation. With that being said I still absolutely recommend eating here. It is worth the drive from Portland or even Kalama. It is a 100% must go to. They only serve pizza after 3:00pm.
