As Ridgefield locals, my husband and I are gradually trying the new or newish spots in our town. This time we rode our bikes to Playmakers for lunch. We chose a table on the patio behind (partly to keep an eye on the bikes). As we sat waiting for menus, I glanced down and around and noticed how dirty it was. The ground near our table had several dirty napkins and other debris that hadn't been cleaned up. Our table was dirty as well. There was a blob of dried ketchup right in front of me. I asked our server if that could be cleaned up and she brought a couple wet napkins and tried to get it off and finally said, "There" and walked away. Well, it was still there. So I took a couple napkins myself and used water from my glass and after a little work it came off. The tables aren't solid so there is lots of dried goo between the slats as well. It just gave me the impression that cleanliness isn't a high priority at this establishment. One can only hope they keep the kitchen cleaner. Nevertheless we decided to give the food a try. My mom always taught me that "when in doubt order a burger. They can't mess that up", so I did, with "beer batter fries". The fries were great and I can recommend them. The burger was also pretty good. I got the cheeseburger (it has a clever name which I've forgotten). My husband was disappointed with his cilantro rice bowl, however. It was bland with not enough beans. The sauce tasted like mayo and sriracha sauce mixed together but it didn't have enough oomph to add much flavor to the dish. When our server came by and asked about the food my husband wasn't even finished answering her and she said she was sorry and walked away. Maybe you have to have enough alcohol under your belt to enjoy the food? We're out of luck because we don't drink. Sorry, Playmakers, we don't want to go back. read more

Some of the best drinks I've ever had have been had here. Like the Green Tea Shot. The soft pretzel? Phenomenal. The loaded tots? Excellent after a day watching the Raptors play. Lots of screens with games on. The bar can be loud if there's karaoke but it's a fun vibe. The non-bar side is good for more chatty groups. Service is good. Sometimes a little slow to start but it's all good, it can be really busy and it's never neglectful. read more

Well the service at this place has become as disappointing as the Hazel Dell location. 20 minutes to get their Elote Dip and a second beer. A gentlemen that showed up 10 minutes after me was able to get a fish and chips before me. He quickly pointed out that it was the special. I get that a special should be fast, but how long does it take to warm up some dip, add some chips and most importantly, ask if I'd like another beer. To add to the disappointment, the place was very well staffed unlike the Hazel Dell location. More than three strikes, I'm out. read more

Hello my lil mallows! So, we decided to hit up Playmakers for some karaoke. You walk in, and it's like stepping into a sports fan's dream--TVs everywhere! The vibe had good energy and is fun. The service was great. Always asking if we were doing well and refilling my hot water (I know I live life on the edge). let's talk about the food, specifically the bacon ranch cauliflower pizza. It's gluten-free, so you can feel good about yourself while simultaneously committing pizza sin. It was so delicious I thought I heard it whispering sweet nothings. Cheesy mozzarella that's cooked to perfection, bacon-flavor, with a hint of smokiness. The crust was a great texture and flavor. But let's be real.. size does matter. $28 for a smaller sized pizza is a little painful... But hey, when it tastes that good, you might just want to take out a loan. The karaoke was fun. Everyone there was having fun. There's no stage. The KJ is in the corner by the television and you get the mic to rock it right on the floor. We went here today on a whim and we were SOO thankful we did. The food was amazing. We had the loaded tots with pulled pork and we devoured them. My friend and I had the voodoo pasta, I had shrimp he had chicken. It was so delicious and fresh. The waitress was soo sweet, attentive and very helpful. We weren't sure if kids were allowed but were so thankful they made a family side and a bar side. Best of both worlds! Can't wait to come back. read more

Decided to come in for lunch with my mom and baby, it started off well we got our drinks and appetizers in. Waiter never came back to take our entree order, someone else did. Once we got our food we never got checked on, I had to get up and ask for refills and napkins.. I can see our server standing and chatting with her regulars which I get but neglecting your other tables to chit chat is just rude. We finished eating and our server is still not checking on us, I had to get up AGAIN to ask for boxes and the check. While I did that I can see our server on her phone talking to another pair of regulars, if I knew I had to sit at the bar top in order to get decent service I would've never came. I gave one star because the food was good, I'm not gonna drop her name but I'm sure she knows who we are. 0/10 recommend read more

This is a great, kid friendly restaurant. Bar area is for 21 and over but the rest is open to all ages. I appreciate the individual TVs at all the booths. The server always makes sure to switch it to Disney channel for my toddler to enjoy. The menu is massive, tons of options for everyone. I will say I was not impressed by the chicken wrap I ordered once. Too much onion and lettuce, lacking in flavor overall. So I do wish they'd maybe have more flavorful wrap or salad options. But everything else I've had has been great. The burgers are always a safe bet, very tasty and full of toppings. It is on the pricier side, but I think most restaurants are these days. Service has always been super friendly. One of the waiters have my 3 year old a beanie baby toy during one of visits, my son was ecstatic about it. Oh and their breakfast menu is good too! I met a friend here for lunch. The service was nice and the wings and pizza were both delicious. We had two rounds of beer each, and to our utter amazement - our lunch bill was nearly $100! This is no budget-friendly sports bar, but the food was good. I will stick to water next time. read more

From my experience despite some new opening issues it's the best of the three Playmakers I've visited and its gotten better and better since opening. Food is decent and consistent. it's always open and the beer selection is fair. It's a good choice for late night dining. sometimes the only choice. But still, solid 3 stars. read more

Only complaint.... Need more seating! Other than that, we sat at the bar top and the bartender was very nice and she was very attentive. I like the music playing in the background because I love 2000s hip hop The food was really good! My friend had just a betta chedda burger with fries and I had the loaded tater tots with pulled pork. My friend said both of the alcoholic coffee drinks were really good but the Spanish coffee was the best. I enjoyed my Paloma and Watermelon mojito (I subbed both soda ingredients with sparkling water). I recommend this place as something new and a bit more youthful to try. read more

Super nice place to eat and socialize in Ridgefield, WA. We were able to get a table In their patio space. They had temporary walls and patio heaters on out there. We were comfortable the whole time. We ordered a couple of drinks before ordering food. The drinks were priced reasonably and then we ordered food. The food was priced a little higher than we expected, but the flavor of the food was very good. From order to the time of delivery was a reasonable amount of time. Our server was friendly and continually checked on us. The outdoor space we were in was nice and much quieter than inside. We were able to have a good conversation without all the noise and sounds from inside. read more

The food was underwhelming. I tried their calzone which was a mistake. It was undercooked doughy, no flavor. The salad was out of a container with some shredded cheddar cheese on top. Our other order was fish and chips. my wife had fish and chips. The chips were good and crisp. Unfortunately the batter on the fish was overcooked with the color ranging from dark brown to nearly burnt, and leaving one with a grease aftertaste of old oil. The location is understaffed (1 waiter, a cook, and then a food delivery person). The food took over 30 minutes to get out. Absent were the previously available selections of hot sauces from the majority of the tables. Unfortunately the level of service and food quality has significantly declined from our previous visits. Ambiance is your typical sports bar, it was at least visibly clean and all the tv's were working. read more

I would actually give this spot a 3.5 if I could. It really was pretty unremarkable except for the staff was all extremely kind and friendly. The food was pretty mediocre. Ordered the Hawaiian type pizza and they dropped it when taking out of the oven so they re-made the pizza and omitted the pineapple so that was a bummer. The nachos were okay but I've definitely had better. Nice spots out back for outdoor dining and nice views. read more

Sat out on the patio on a nice Saturday, 75 degrees. Nobody came out to service us after 15 minutes so we left. I wouldn't say anything but I've visited this location at least 10 times and it seems there have been at least 4 issues with basic customer service. The location in Battleground has always been on point with service. read more

I really wanted to like this place better than I did. I've been to their Hazel Dell location for the Wing Wednesdsy Special ($1 ea I think) and it's a good deal. Tried this location out for the Thursday pizza special and it was awful, for $5 what can you expect though, well I was hoping for something a bit more palatable, I ate 2 of the 4 pieces on an 8" pizza. My don got a dozen wings and they were $27!! Maybe I'm not keeping track with inflation but they're way more than BWW wings ($18.99 for 10). $65 with tip for two fountain drinks, a dozen wings, a barely edible personal pizza and an appetizer seemed pretty excessive for what we got and the quality and service was mid at best.....I'd go back for the Wings Wednesday but a hard pass on the pizza. May give their Friday Fish special a shot and see if they can redeem themselves. read more

Walked in to no one at the front and a bell with a sign saying to ring it for service. Waited to be seated during lunch and no one came, my wife decided to leave and go to the car after sitting on the bench for about 7 minutes. I proceeded to ring the bell at the family entrance finally a lady came out irritated by the "excessive" bell ringing. Told me she was working both sides and couldn't hear with little apology. 1 server in the bar for the entire floor and the patio on a Sunday while the NCAA basketball tournament was going on. Service was very slow. Food was over priced for what it was and not very flavorful. The highlight was $3 dollar mimosas and well drinks which is the special on Sunday. read more

I have been here 3 times with my wife. 1st time it was very busy, 2nd and 3rd time not as busy. We were very impressed with the food, service and vibe.
