I was meeting family in Ridgefield and came across this spot in my search. Located in a business complex, it has ample parking and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside its spread out, so even if it were busy, I don't think it would be overly loud. We arrived on Sunday just as they were switching from brunch to lunch and were promptly seated. Our waitress was attentive throughout our time there and explained their daily specials. Our table all opted for the daily special, which was a smash burger with fries for $10. I inquired if I could sub out for a veggie patty and the waitress said it was not an issue. Our food arrived within 15 minutes and everyone enjoyed the burgers. They were all topped with a delicious deep fried pickle chip, however I do wish they would have put actual pickles on the burgers. Otherwise, they were delicious! The veggie burger appeared to be homemade or at least higher quality as you could see the oats in the patty. The beef burgers were all thinly smashed and had the crispy edges you expect from a smash burger. Although they have a full bar, none of our table opted for a cocktail. Probably the biggest smash burger I've had. We walked in super hungry after seeing several burger photos on Yelp, and the smash burger truly didn't disappoint. It was big, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. The chicken wings, however, were a bit of a letdown. They tasted dry and didn't seem very fresh. On the positive side, the fries that came with the burger were good and complemented the meal well. The ambiance and service coming in was very warm and welcoming. I love all the greenery in the decor around the interior. Servers were very kind and helpful however there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. That could be because it's a Tuesday and usually slower but it was helpful that the hostess was helping the wait staff. The food was average, we ordered the Shrimp Bowl (had 4 pieces of small shrimp), Pesto Linguine (chicken was dry and the crostini was soggy), Smash Burger, kids chicken tenders and kids cheeseburger. Drinks we ordered kids lemonade, Root Beer, Empress Bees Knees and Margarita. They use Talenti syrups for the blood orange, raspberry + other fruits to flavor their drinks. The Bees knees was the best of all the drinks but it was too sweet. In the margaritas they use Sweet & Sour instead of fresh limes. We came here on a Saturday for early dinner around 5pm and were greeted warmly and seated right away at a nice corner spot with a soft bench. They even had a car seat rack for my newborn at the side of the table - this was a much-appreciated unexpected feature!! (For this alone 5 stars!) The space feels big and open and lots of groups were gathered here with the big picnic tables, but they also had other more intimate seating options. Side note: the bathrooms are big and very clean! The hubby ordered a beer flight and our friends all ordered smash burgers. I loved that the kids meals were served in a bento box making it more fun and looking around they have some very pretty and delicious-looking cocktails. I got the shrimp taco and enjoyed the seasoning. They offer typical pub food but somewhat elevated and obviously lots of drink choices. The staff were super friendly, checked on us often, and were very considerate of our kids. It got very busy when we were leaving but everyone was still so patient with us. Had an amazing first time visit yesterday evening. Sat at the bar with some friends. It was very busy but we had the sweetest bartender (Kat) that took great care of us. I usually regret ordering mac and cheese because it's often too heavy, but the Gouda Mac and Cheese here was the best I've ever had. It was light, flavorful, and included sun-dried tomatoes -- such a great touch! We also ordered the crab cakes and shrimp tacos. I appreciated that the shrimp were grilled, and the crab cakes had a generous amount of crab meat. I did notice a hint of tarragon (which isn't my favorite), but aside from that, everything was absolutely delicious. We visited on a warm day and noticed they have a huge patio. However, it felt like a bit of a wind tunnel, so we chose to sit inside. (Our server mentioned that many menus have been lost to the wind!) Great service. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly hostess who showed me to a table and brought water within seconds. The server came by a minute later to take drink and appetizer orders, and this person was also very pleasant. The party I was meeting was running a bit late and the server was great about checking in with me in case I had any needs. I ordered the soft pretzel and an Arnold Palmer while I was waiting and both were delightful. When my party arrived, the server was quick to make their way over and take drink orders as well as to let us know about specials. They have a child's menu with typical kid meals, but the macaroni and cheese that came with fresh fruit with anything but typical. It's was cavatappi with a beautiful white cheese and the fresh fruit included sliced strawberries, green apple slices, orange segments abc blueberries. A really great kids meal (soft drink or juice is included in price.) They had a special tonight, which was a patty melt, that came with mushrooms and onions. It was beautiful, and my dining companion seemed to enjoy it. With dessert being offered half off tonight, we chose the double chocolate cake and while it looked spectacular, I abstained so I can't tell you how it was, but it looked moist and delightful. The only negative is the sound. It's very loud in here and does not lend itself to being able to have a discussion with anyone. Besides the acoustics, the music is fairly loud. Location and service 5 stars hands down, the decor and staff are so bright and inviting. The patio overlooks the walking trail and gets lots of traffic. The food although tasty does not live up to the price in portions...my shrimp dish had 5 shrimp the size of quarter and a cup of white rice for $19 hmm. My husband's wedge salad was amazing but he paid extra for shrimp and got the same little quarter sized pieces. Placing our take out order over the phone was quick and easy. Staff were friendly when picking up. The smash burger was loaded and very filling but a bit salty and the whole bottom bun was soggy and falling apart by the time we got to eating it. We also got the Asiago stuffed gnocchi and that was disappointing. When we first opened the box, we were shocked about how little food there was. It almost looked like someone had eaten half of it before boxing it up. The chicken was more moist than it looks but it was overall not $25 worth of food. Came in with my family to celebrate a birthday and from the moment we walked in, the host team was very kind and friendly. We had a group of 9 & am aware that sometimes larger parties can be a lot of work, but our server Shelby never once made us feel that way. She went above & beyond for us and was so attentive throughout the whole experience. We loved the food & drinks, but I gotta say that finding great service is truly what makes the experience worthwhile. We got the be waffle, the special chilaquiles, chicken fried steak and a side of the candied bacon! Everything was very good, my only input is that the chicken fried steak is not your typical kind that's on the flatter patty side it was a big hunk of fried chicken also wil say we had to add salt to it because the gravy and chicken were lacking a bit of seasoning but once you added the salt it really brought out all the other flavors. We sat outside and it was a very nice patio and our server was very kind to us and tentative with the bottomless mimosas as we were drinking them pretty quick to fit into the 2hour max time frame they give you for those which is honestly more than enough time! I've been three times now and LOVE this place. Only giving it 4-stars because it has a little room to grow. The girl who sat our large party the first time was RUDE but the rest of that night and the other two times were great. First time was to celebrate my birthday with family (table for 10 adults and 2 kids). I had the steak bites, hubby had the fried ravioli, and mom-in-law had a pasta dish. It was all great. The steak could've been a little better, but it wasn't bad. Another time, I had the chicken sandwich. It was great. The plating is gorgeous and the servers are lovely. Saw this place off the side of the street and decided to give them a try. In a brand new building. Love all the green plants inside, it's spacial and high ceilings. They have a little outdoor section with corn hole and connect four, good for the kids. Big outdoor seating area that has a nice view of the grass. It is not covered except for some umbrellas. Food was great. Good portion sizes as well. The French fries were my favorite with the spicy ranch. The kids Mac and cheese was also delicious. I had the smash burger. Personally I love my burger with lots of lettuce, onions and pickles. This does not come with much inside but was still very good nonetheless. BevRidge is a local concept in the recently developed area of Ridgefield close by to the I-5. Inside is an inviting, simple setting great for family & friends. The staff on site are friendly. They seemed pretty busy for a Monday night. It took longer than expected to get seated, but outside of that, service was great. I got one of their specialty cocktails, the Apple Old Fashioned. I personally wouldn't recommend it; you're better off ordering a classic cocktail. For food, I got the Smash Burger. So good! Everything about it was a hit. The Paloma was delicious, and came in a very cute terracotta vessel. The burger was good, the bun was a little on the firm side. The fries could be improved.
