Overall service has been good and the atmosphere is very quaint, it's not classy but it's nice! But what I really want to point out is their pizzas! They are delicious!! The Wilds and the Summer Fling are my favorites! Genuinely my go to place when I want a pizza. And happy that they can make them vegetarian for me! I really hate to leave a review like this but man This was bad. Friday, made it to happy hour which we thought was great. When you walk in it just smells moldy/humid, fans running. Took forever to order. Finally ordered, all items were on happy hour. Still came out to $82 -kids chicken strips: really dark (probably need to change the oil), kids didn't eat it, fries were cold. -wedge salad $8: small but cool for the price, on romaine instead of iceberg. -garden salad (brought out the Cesar instead, exchanged it with no problem) $8 -Skip the "chorizo" slider awful I didn't even want to take them home to feed the chickens they were that bad. Maybe no even cooked all the way, came with burned house potato chips. Horrible. $13.50 -Mac and cheese: tiny portion, I would say this was the best thing. -I had high hopes for the lemon chicken soup. ohhh dear it was like unflavored chicken water. I added salt, pepper, spice there was no fixing it. Someone it ended up being $82 I would not come back. I guess you can try it and see how it goes. read more

Decided to try Cedars tonight. That won't happen again. There were 3 of us, and we each ordered a signature cocktail. They were all good. Ordered the Dirty Dozen appetizer...delicious! We ordered a Wilds pizza, grown up grilled cheese w/ tomato basil soup and a Club sandwich. The pizza tasted like a cheese pizza, the grilled cheese tasted like bread, luckily the club sandwich was very good. When one of us ordered a second cocktail, no one told us the bartender that made our 1st drinks was gone, and her replacement was working in the kitchen. We found that out through overhearing side conversations. She finally shows up after about 10 minutes and makes the drink. No one bothered to comnunicate w/ us. No one came to refill water, see if everything was ok, ask if we wanted dessert. Its a Wednesday evening and there were 3 other tables....not busy. read more

Went on a Saturday night, and sat at the bar, (room was nearly empty, but we wanted to sit at bar.) I ordered the mac & cheese and tomato bisque bowl, and my friend ordered a sandwich with fries. My bowl of soup was delivered at the same time as pasta... and friend was charged an extra $3 for fries rather than "chips" The pasta was better than average, but the bisque was just ok. The sandwich was passable, but nothing special. There was a duet playing some music, and the dining room was well decorated, so ambiance was above average. read more

Elegant and quaint, located on an old golf course. Service took a minute but once we were helped things came at a timely manner. Our server was friendly as well. I got a Bloody Mary, it was definitely one of the better ones I've had at a restaurant. I had gotten the soup and salad combo, the salad was decent (Caesar) and the soup tasted homemade which I appreciated (cheddar broccoli). My husband got the brisket sandwich, said it was good and the meat was flavorful. I'm definitely open to going back and trying different menu items! read more

I was taking a drive. I'm in the country looking at the beautiful fall leaves. I haven't been out this way before. Found this cute place in brush Prairie. I decided to stop in. I enjoyed a very nice craft beer, and a great view. I have lunch plans so I am taking a piece of cheesecake to try later. This place is clean and bright. Elegant. I enjoyed the white table cloths . The service is great. I will definitely be coming back here for a full dinner. This would be a lovely date night, or celebration venue.. Stopped in to explore this new find. The owners stopped over and they're amazing. Excited to see what they continue to do to make this a unique destination. Cedars is an old golf course country club building. It does feel a bit institutional when you first walk in. The dining area is more cozy. There's a full bar with 16 taps the main dining area overlooks a large patio and yard with twinkle lights. Expect white linens and tasty food. The Mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent and the shrimp was cooked well. Would like to return and explore more of the bar menu. I tried the grilled cheese and it was very cheesy. The tomato bisque was a really thick soup. We also ordered the cake sampler. It was ok but none of the desserts really spoke to me. read more

The Cedars use to be a beautiful golf course, now it is a neighborhood restaurant which is super cool! We went for the first time, great service, beautiful bar/restaurant, live music which is always cool. Now, we had shared the Brisket sandwich, it wasn't so good honestly. Fries were great, we shared a dinner caesar salad. The sandwich was horribly dry, just not something we would order again. However, lots of people were ordering pizza. My first time to The Cedars was so good. I met up with friends for dinner and to listen to LIVE music that was on point for ambiance and background. We were able to talk freely without being drowned out. I ordered the Mac n cheese and added brisket... YUMMMMM.... I also had an Old-Fashioned and it was a solid pairing with my comfort food dinner. The staff and the owners, who are hands on, were attentive and gracious. My group dined inside though there were also diners outside enjoying the spacious patio and scenic views. The Cedars is a great restaurant for groups of friends to meet as well as a cozy date night as there is plenty of elbow room inside and outside for an intimate dinner. Will def be back. Nxt time I might add the butterfly shrimp to the Mac n cheese cuz I can already tell it's gonna be my go-to. read more

Things seem to be slipping here significantly as of late. We like going there and are glad it's reopened but they need to get it together. The last 3 times we have been i had ordered something then they come back after 5-10 min to say they are out of it. I ordered tomato bisque 3 different times and are out every time. Take it off the menu then if it's gonna be an issue or have the Fabio guy that wanders around doing nothing get his ass back there and whip up some tomato bisque. The menu also needs revamped not sure who came up with that but there is just some weird stuff. We got bread with buffalo dip on it then they put mac and cheese on top of the bread....kinda odd. We came for the live music in March on a Saturday, and absolutely loved it! I felt like I was transported instantly to a vacation somewhere relaxing. The food options were exquisite, and quite good value. I ordered an appetizer for my entree, baked Artichoke hearts, and loved them! My husband ordered the club sandwich. They have homemade chips and spice. The fireplace was romantic, (real wood) even though it is a public house so there were (well behaved) kids in the room. They have games for kids to play at the tables. This opened in 2024, so decor is brand new. It's on a golf course. I'll try to post a video. read more

This is a fantastic little place to go tucked away and Brush Prairie, but it is definitely worth checking out. The revitalization at this adorable restaurant is only going to get better and better, as they add in new elements. It sounds like they're going to put in a spa and coffee bar so that you can grab a coffee and go on your walk right outside on the walking paths. As for the restaurant, we can't say enough about the wonderful food, reasonable prices, quality, and the genuine staff. We were fortunate enough to be taken care of by Adam and he is THE BEST!! So kind, attentive, personable, and a fantastic example of what a leader in a space should be. He took care of everybody in the restaurant and made everybody's drinks without batting and I or seeming rushed or stressed. He was calm as a cucumber and made time to talk with everybody and was all around just wonderful! They have many holiday events right now and it is a fantastic event space. It's too cold outside right now for eating on the adorable back deck, but I can't wait to do so when it warms up a bit. They have trivia nights, fun events and live music! Used to be the clubhouse to a golf course which now has houses. The new owners have done an amazing job turning this into a restaurant. Huge fireplace in the dining room area, good food, huge bar and they also have game nights and bring in entertainment to their banquet room. read more

What a fun conversion for the old Cedars Golf Club. The service is friendly and the place has a fun vibe with a good selection of food and beverages. We love that we can come out and get a nice hike/walk in along the nature trails, then pop into the restaurant for a bite and a drink afterwards. Their comedy show on Thursday nights is super fun. Save your money, and go somewhere else.....make no assumptions here. Like be sure to ask for pricing before you request that soft drink refill, and when given the list of soup substitutes in lieu of the chips with your sandwich, if your waiter included chili on that list, ( a $4 soup up-charge, which I was gladly willing to pay), don't assume the chili is only a $4 upcharge (it was $7). Also, don't assume they'll respond to, or care about your yelp review (there have been no responses to either positive or negative reviews posted on Yelp). Well, I guess there are some things to assume when eating here; assume they will nickel and dime you wherever they can. Assume the kitchen will be S-L-O-W in getting out your order even if there are only 4 other occupied tables and assume the food will be lukewarm by the time it arrives. We came for the play, "Was He Better Off Dead?" It was our first time coming to Cedars. Firstly, the play was amazing. We laughed, we cried, we danced, we sang. It far exceeded any expectations we had. The feel-good story was perfect for the season and we needed the laughs. The actors were awesome. Secondly, the location itself was very nice. The facility was clean and decorated well. The hosts were welcoming and service good. Some of the food was amazing, and some was okay. The drinks were festive and decently priced. I just discovered this hidden jewel! Restaurants are limited in this area and when I saw the sign that the old golf course had turned into a pub/dining venue, I had to try it! Great food options, happy hour offerings and drinks as well! The atmosphere is nice with a large fireplace focal point! Our first visit was extremely disappointing The food was terrible, the musty mildew smell was awful. Would say find a way to disguise the smell. Maybe boil some orange peels and cloves in the restaurant throughout the day. No service, had to order at counter and pick up. Said they had a chef, but the food was so bad we didn't eat it.
