I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch with my friend. We came here at about 215 and it was happy hour! We got two of their drops. Mine was delicious. Lemoncello and vanilla. Yum Yum. My friend got a raspberry one,which was equally delicious. We decided to share the chicken wings. We wanted the bone in so they were a bit more than the boneless. We split two sauces half-and-half. One was sweet and the other one was frank's. The wings were a good size and had plenty of sauce on them. They were served with blue cheese dressing and fresh celery, which I love. We then shared the chicken, avocado salad. They split it for us, which was nice, it was truly huge. Plenty for us to share. Nice amount of seasoned tender, chicken and plenty of accoutrements. Diced tomato and corn to name a few.It came with an avocado dressing, which was pretty good. The service was top-notch. I like this place. It's bright although a bit noisy. Bathrooms are a very clean. Definitely will come back for some tasty bites and another drop because that is something else.! It arrives in a cone shaped frozen glass. Met my son after work here one night. It was our first time being here. We were greeted by friendly staff where we got seated at the bar. We got complementary chips since we were newbies. The chips were just OK, but they tasted much better dipped in the ranch sauce. The Lady bartender was very friendly and provided good service. They had many different beers to choose from and I chose a couple of their recommendations which were very good. My son who was still technically on call with his work got a mocktail which was a "Munich marshmallow root beer, dirty soda" . Not only did it look cool, but it tasted fabulous as well according to him. The food was excellent. Good filling burger with tots. Definitely wanna go back again and try some of their other food items as the menu looked pretty extensive. Only real negative here, and it's a small one, is that their prices seemed a little high. Brand new place. Walked in, no greets, we waited 3 minutes to be seated. They have a lot of menus!!. I'm being honest, maybe in time improvements will follow. But, the food was unappealing. Queso Dip was ok, chips not so much. Fresh chips would have made this better. My husband's fish and chips and tots look anemic, My Patty Melt and Onion soup,hmmmm. This was not freshly made. And the menu said, we were told it was the best!!! The bread was not Rye, the patty was a good size, but the onions . The onions in the Patty Melt were the same onions used in the soup. Newly opened in Vancouver and decided to drop in to try it out. The door was opened by staff as we entered and promptly seated, which was great! Our service was quick and friendly. It just opened a few days prior and my hubby took me on a date here. Was excited to try the icy drops which was delicious but quite chilling when the blustery rain hit *brr*! Also had the adult root beer and want to learn to make this for myself The service was quite impressive from opening the door for those running from the pummeling of the sideways rain, to the table service. Last night we came in about 10:15pm to grab a very late dinner. We were greeted by the manager Rob who was so friendly and outgoing. He welcomed us in and provided great customer service. I seriously don't understand how the spicy chicken grilled cheese had ZERO flavor other than some buffalo sauce. Foods great, service is terrible. They sat us down and it took 40 minutes for them to ask us what we wanted to drink. I think it would've taken longer if I hadn't flagged them down after they repeatedly walked by without even looking at us. In the time that we waited another couple was seated in our eyesight, they also were not serviced for about 20 minutes at which point they gave up and left. I wonder how many customers they lose just because people get up and leave since it takes so long to even be talked to. This is the second time I've tried this location and the second time I said I probably won't go back. The food was luke warm and we only ordered the taquitos. The server was confused by the system they use which is not her fault and is more of a testament on their system. Everything was way overpriced and no real "healthy" options on their menu besides salads. They need a major overhaul of their menu, their recipes, their system and probably overall restaurant management. Could use a really good restaurant consultant who can help make it feel like the neighborhood bar and grill their shooting for. I've been to other Hops n Drops up in Bonney Lake and Maple Valley and I don't remember them being this horrible. I actually feel bad for the people that work there, they were very nice but just put in a horrible position that they have to cook and serve what they call food. I've been wanting to check this place out because I've been seeing such great things about it. As soon as we pulled up and got out of the car, there was a young female holding the door open for us and greeted us with a smile. We were given the option to sit in the restaurant and the bar but we chose the bar because we wanted to try some items off the happy hour menu. We were a little disappointed that 3 of the items we wanted to order were unavailable because they were out/didn't have any. So we ended up ordering the taquitos and they were just okay. The salsa it came with tasted just like the pico salsa I buy from Safeway. Mango chamoy margarita was really good and very refreshing but the regular margarita was so boring and just didn't taste that great compared to other margs from other establishments. Service was good. Our waitress Sarah was so nice and so friendly. Today was my fourth time at the establishment and I can confidently say that I have been disappointed each time. Tonight's visit was definitely the icing on the cake. Every meal that I've tried has been incredibly underwhelming and nothing has stood out. I have tried the handmade taquito's, buffalo mac n cheese, and chicken sandwich and all have been very average. The ice drop concept is very cool, however, every drink is overly sweet and tasted like Kool-Aid. Based off of my previous experiences here, I decided to order a vodka gimlet tonight instead of one of their classics. They first, mistakenly, brought out a shot of vodka instead and then brought out the gimlet but it was 100% straight vodka shaken with maybe a touch of simple syrup. I simply could not drink it and asked the waitress for a mule instead due to the fact that the drink tasted like straight vodka. There was no apology or any acknowledgement that the drink was made incorrectly. Later, one of our friends joined a little later and wanted to order food, but our waitress brought all checks out before asking if anyone wanted anything else. I have sincerely tried out this establishment multiple times, thinking that we just had previous issues that happened to be coincidences but the lack of service and quality is too consistent here. read more

The food is very good to excellent. We were a party of 6 and we all thought the food was great. I did think the steak tip appetizer was just okay: are you supposed to have those cartilage things in there? I like the theme of the murals, and the service was great. I really appreciated one of the managers dropping by our table and telling us a little about the restaurant chain. There is a nice rotating tap list and I thought the Hops and Drops IPA was excellent. Our server did a great job tracking our 6 individual appetizers, beers, and orders. Well, we ordered pick up for the office. Fish and chips, chicken tenders, Mots sticks and a chicken burger. 1. The mozzarella sticks were awful. I don't know what kind of breading they use but it was not crunchy, not seasoned, and kind of mealy. Almost no cheese filling. 2. Fish and chips - The fish was good breading was soggy I think I got someone else's crunchy fries since mine seemed to be the only different fries in the office. The coleslaw had no seasoning, I'm not even sure how it was wet. The veg in the slaw was good though. 3. Chicken strips - Soggy, bland, and no seasoning in the batter? Regular fries soggy, bland and no seasoning. 4. Chicken burger - not bad. The chips looked homemade, but I think they stored these in a clean room to avoid any seasoning and the after taste is almost moldy. At this point anyone who ate a chip isn't feeling well.
