Had some late night cravings for Mexican food. My daughter ordered a bunch of different tacos while I ordered the enchilada dinner. Her tacos looked amazing and she said they were all really tasty. I'm a transplant. And I've been on the hunt for a good Mexican spot. Tried this because locals hype it up. If you're from CA/NM/AZ just keep it movin. It's not great and you'll be disappointed. They appeal to the mayo demographic and the dude at the counter is cranky. lol. I'd rather find a better hole in the wall with better food and service vs trying this spot again. After passing this spot many times since moving here 3 years ago, we finally made it in. This place was popping like it is everytime we'd pass. I assumed it was a order & go place, but there was some seating inside. I had seen several people mention about the al pastor, so I went with the al pastor taco, 1 Chorizo taco & the bf got a language burrito. They were right the al pastor had really good flavor. Chorizo was good as well. Both were filled with lots of meat. My bf enjoyed his burrito as well & mentioned that that was the juiciest lengua he's ever had. Finally stopped in after my husband has been trying to get me to try it. I've hesitated in the past because it looks like a dirty hole in the wall place. I thought maybe I'd wait until their expansion was done. Well we were in the area so I gave in. We walked in and it looked clean at first glance. They have a huge menu! I ended up ordering a chicken super nacho (half order) and my husband ordered the carne asada burrito. The portions here are huge! You definitely get your money's worth. The food was good and ingredients tasted fresh. My biggest gripe is the cleanliness of the seating area. The booths looked clean enough, but the windows were filthy! The window sills had bugs crawling on them. It definitely needs a good cleaning, including the grimy floor. I also didn't like how close the seating was to the bathroom. I get that it's a small place, but the beverage refrigerators, garbage station, water station, etc could be placed by the restroom and move the eating tables to the other end of the dining area?! This is more of a personal preference thing, and I know that some people like this, but I when I order something that has meat, I don't like it to be just giant globs of fat without meat. Some people love those clear, jello consistency globs of fat, but I want actual meat. I love me some lengua, but when I cook lengua, It's pretty much meat with cartilage that I mostly trim away. I've never boiled a cow tongue, then peeled off the skin to find that the entire tongue was made of fat. Maybe other items are better, but I was excited to see lengua on the menu. Best tacos in vancouver! Not only is it always hot and made to order, the tacos are loaded! I love how when you order them for take out it's wrapped individually so you can definitely tell they don't skimp on each taco. With a single taco costing about $3, my favorites are the carne asada and al pastor. Service is quick and friendly. They have seats inside for dine in for a quick bite. If you came for Mexican food, you should be able to find what you want--breakfast burritos, burritos, tacos, tortas, tostadas, taco salad, nachos, quesadillas, a couple of platand even hamburgers for the person in your party who didn't want Mexican food. We got the carnitas tacos, pollo tacos and carnitas burrito, along with chips and pico. It was okay. Nothing was special about it. The chips were crispy and freshly cooked but not salted. Steak fajita burrito had lots of beans and was a very generous serving. Unfortunately the filling was a bit uneven so you do get bites of pure beans and others of just protein. Decent Mexican food... service was quick and the place started getting packed around lunch time. There's limited seating so make sure you get there early. Plenty of parking in the front. I'm not from this area so I'm not sure how good the Mexican restaurants are here. I love the street tacos with the mini tortillas. The meat was cooked right but it just lacks seasoning. I put a lot of salsa on the asada and the adobada tacos but it still lacked flavor. They use cheddar cheese here and although I love cheddar, I would've liked cotija or crema cheese with these tacos. I had the tostada and the guacamole on top of it was super cold almost frozen and that didn't taste well with the beans and tostada. The price here is very cheap so that's a plus! read more

I can't say we bought our house solely based on the fact that it's close to Super Taco, but I also won't say it didn't have any influence on our decision - haha! Best place for burritos/tacos in the area BY FAR. Don't be fooled by the outside, this is where you can come to get quality cheap eats and the best Mexican food in Vancouver. I've always had great service there, too - today I went in and ordered two burritos and they had it ready for me in literally under 2 minutes. Prices have jumped up a little recently as they are many places because of increased meat costs, but I still think it's a great deal given the quality. Burritos are definitely enough for 2 meals for me! Pro tip: grab your favorite burrito and take it over to Brother's Cascadia - it'll pair nicely with an ice cold beer! read more

Super Taco Express has never been much to look at but so what. However, this place is now FILTHY. Not dirty, filthy. We are talking automotive repair shop filthy. Floors, walls, windows, bathroom and kitchen are badly in need of a deep cleaning. Once El Jeffe opens across the street they will get all of my business. The carne Asada burrito is fantastic and the food is totally on point with it being the closest thing to a socal style of Mexican food not all Mexican food is the same as each region has slightly different variations of the basic dishes and Southern California is different from other regional dishes that offer Mexican cuisine you can't loose with super Taco express as someone else mentioned the carne asada burrito has guacamole on it and it's a nice surprise as many restaurants make you pay extra for it the orders are made to order, and they are also made quickly. Ok so My girl and her family come here so I tried it after the recommendation. I came in twice purchased 20 Steak tacos. The Tortillas were dry and hard like when you leave the bag open over night then served it 2 days later. Not the quality I expect for over $50.00 on tacos. Day 2 I came in and ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and fries the burrito is fine nothing bad but the fries who the hell are you gonna give me the bottom of the bag and then look at me like I owe you a tip. My family comes from Guasave Sinaloa we know what food quality and standards will get you a tip. Step up your quality I'm not a dog to get scraps. Not very nice ambiance. It looks like a dirt hole from the outside. The tacos aren't worth $2.90 each. Very small tacos and they do not stuff them like other taco stands.
