This place has been on my Yelp must-try list for quite some time. Finally decided to try it today. Parking can be a challenge since it's located in downtown Vancouver with only street parking available. They have both inside and outside seating areas. We walked in on a Saturday around noon. There was a line forming out the door, but it moved quickly. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Every table has a number. The person taking our order asked us if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating, then sent us to a particular numbered table. Pretty sufficient ordering process. Seemed to work well for how busy they get. We ordered the chips, salsa and guacamole, which came out quickly after we sat down. The chips were nice and crispy, guacamole fresh, and salsa had great flavor. We really enjoyed it and appreciated it coming so quickly because it seemed like our food took forever. Granted it was super busy there on a Saturday. It got super loud inside with almost every table occupied, which made it difficult to have a conversation. I ordered a couple tacos, including a carnitas ($4.50) and fried Mahi Mahi ($6.25). The carnitas had great flavor and I would definitely order that taco again. The Mahi Mahi taco was okay. The slaw on top of the fish was too spicy for me. I didn't see anything listed in the ingredients that screamed spice, so I was a bit surprised by the heat. I'm not a fan of hot spicy food, so I wouldn't order that one again. My husband ordered the carnitas corn cakes, off the brunch menu. He really enjoyed the flavors. It was a generous amount of food for $15. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit. Yummy food, friendly staff and cool vibe inside with big windows and hardwood floors. We're looking forward to trying some of their other menu items in the future. Would recommend.

Casual place you walk in to order your drinks and food at the counter. They will assign you a table # to go to. You need to grab your own water, utensils and napkins before heading to your table. Food and drinks were beautifully presented. We enjoyed almost everything. The sauce on the cactus taco was way too spicy for our taste but we enjoyed the texture and what's in it. Next time, we plan to ask for the sauce on the side.

Drove past little conejo to see that it was popping on a Saturday evening so my friend and I decided to get a few tacos for pickup. We didn't expect much but we were blown away with how delicious these tacos were. Yes it's a little pricey but for a treat I would definitely come back for a good taco. The "gringa" version of the tacos is a must and definitely get extra salsa on the side (though these tacos are super flavorful as is). My favorite was the roasted mushroom one but their chicken tinga and al pastor were also excellent.

I received prompt service and sat at the bar, as I wanted to eat and watch my show! I ordered 2 mushroom and 1 al pastor taco, did not disappoint! I believe I ate them in record time. So much flavor on both, al pastor had a little bite to it, but I enjoyed it, I can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing about either of them. Place was getting busy as I was ending my meal, but it never felt like it was chaotic! My server was tentative but also let me be, in a good way! I also ordered the dolce de Leche cheesecake, i'm a sucker for cheesecake in general, so I will say it was really good on that front, but it lacked dolce de Leche flavor. Just tasted like cheesecake.

Cute taco place with trendy aesthetic. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. I went on a busy Saturday for lunch and our food came out extremely fast. They have a lot of seating inside and some seating outside as well. There is a lot of natural light in the this restaurant that gives the effect of eating outside, even when you're not. They also have different food seasonal for specials that change regularly.

I visited little conejo for lunch and ordered two mushroom tacos. The corn tortilla was delicious and I really appreciate how quick the food arrived even though they were quite packed for lunch. I'll definitely be back though as it is nice to sit outside on sunny days .

Amazing brunch. I loved the corn cakes with short rib... I just couldn't stop eating it until my plate was clean. And it was a good portion! The corn cakes actually held the eggs and short rib up well. The flavors mixed fantastically. My dining companions loved their food as well, and were surprised that they were able to finish their dishes. They got the breakfast torta and the chilaquiles. Also, the horchata was good! Made with a mix of non-dairy milks.

We've found ourselves in Vancouver twice in the last few months and decided to eat at Little Conejo both times. It's a cute, trendy, little spot with lots of big windows and natural light. There's a very small bar and lots of different sized tables so big groups are definitely welcomed. The staff has been super helpful and friendly both times we've been. You order at the register and then they give you a seat and bring out your food. We started with the chips and guacamole and I was a little disappointed that they don't make their own chips. The chips are fine, but could be so much better. The guacamole was fresh and delicious, a very generous portion as well. My daughter and I couldn't finish it on our own and we love guacamole. We also got two of their agua frescas, which are actually sparkling! It's a really fun twist on an agua fresca. We enjoyed the Tamarind, but one of the ladies working recommended we do 1/2 pineapple and 1/2 hibiscus and that was definitely the winning combination. They also have a rotating flavor each day, so definitely check that out if it's available. They have brunch on the weekends, which looks so good, but both times we've had their tacos. The fish tacos are HUGE, you can barely close the tortilla around the fish. You do not need more than 2 of these, I struggled to finish my second. The fish is fried to perfection and topped with a red salsa and cabbage. My daughter also raved about the carnitas. This will definitely be our go to spot when we find ourselves in Vancouver.

Well, first time at this restaurant, very eclectic but that's expected in Vancouver, WA. I No ordered a Carnitas taco and Chips and Salsa. Both were excellent. Alcohol is available, but I chose and Ice Tea. The service was great and all employees were very thankful. When we walked in I got a good whiff of weed, not bad. Inside was present, kind of half Mexican and upscale yuppie.

This is a staple restaurant for me in Vancouver. Their food is reasonably priced and never misses. I have loved all their tacos I've tried. I gravitate towards the veggie tacos and am always impressed with the flavor and creativity of them. My absolute favorite is the mushroom taco, I get it every time I go!

    Tacos dorados
    Eden Y.

Seriously the best tacos dorados I've ever had. My boyfriend also loved his al pastor, lengua and fish tacos. The red salsa was surprisingly spicy and flavorful! The service was good too. Highly recommend.

Dang delicious! Reasonable prices for generous portions. Everything was delicious. Especially loved the rice and beans! I had the fish tacos and would defintley get them again. My husband had a pork torta and loved it.

    Fish taco. Actually pretty good
    Angel F.

Get in line, order your food, get your water, napkins & silverware, Find a table, wait for your food to be delivered, eat & bus your own table. Okay, I can do that, but there will not be a 20%+ tip. The fish tacos were good, I'll say that, but those chips? Those store bought chips? Yall are killing me! The rojos salsa was simply ok, the guacamole was just okay, and the blackberry mocktail wasn't sweet enough (and I don't even like very sweet), nor was it tangy, just meh.

Bright, lively, good music, FANTASTIC food, EXCELLENT drinks, fun servers... yassss kweeen! We happened upon Coral Club at the recommendation of a friend about a year ago. We popped in for a quick snack but ended up staying for dinner. Their drink game is on point. I can't even remember everything we ordered but the answer to a drink is, of course, yes! Their food is solid. We've done the Shrimp Skewer, Lumpia, Coral Platter, and Lava Fries. They were DELISH! My gang tried the Spam Musubi... I wasn't brave enough, but they loved it! When the good ole PNW gets you down, give it a try. When the outside is grey and gloomy with just weeks of rain ahead, this place will put you in a perfect little happy Hawaiian mood!

We wanted a drink and bite before thrifting and going to the book store. One other couple was inside. Waiter was nice but not hospitable. The ambiance is amazing - 10/10 love the vibe and decor. I ordered a drink of the mixed drinks and my husband got a margarita. The drink was so bad - neither one of us could drink it. I don't think I've ever returned a drink I can't pound before haha. It was 10 minutes before I went home to the bar to ask for something different - no one came by to ask how things were. The guava choice I picked for the second - not good. Watered down flavors of who knows. The drinks at Wahi Hanna are amazing in comparison - especially with the Dole Whip vibe. The spam fries were $9 for half a can of spam cut up and put in the oven with a side of mayo? The loco moco was promising but tasted like something you'd get at Kenjis - not a Hawaiian spot. I feel like with a lot of tweaks in flavor - this could be a great spot.

The area has developed quickly and having grown up nearby and moved away years ago, it's amazing to see what's happened along here. Prices - well, everyone has their hand out along here. We were in town somewhat last minute staying at Hotel Indigo. The hotel provides $10 drink coupons so we decided to drop in for an impromptu drink while planning our dinner strategy. It was already 7p so no view but live music and a nice buzzy ambiance. Wait staff were fast and friendly, and before we knew it two delicious cocktails were in front of us. At the same time, I overheard the waitress at the table beside us saying that food could be ordered from El Gaucho downstairs. So we asked for a menu and started perusing. If you don't know El Gaucho it's a classic steak restaurant with lots of cuts and sizes, a sprinkling of seafood, the usual salads, and tableside this and that. A notch above Ruth's Chris, Morton's or The Capital Grille but with Peter Luger Manhattan prices. Yes, that's right, Manhattan prices in Vancouver. WA. The Couv is all grown up. Or at least trying to be, Like Witness Tree, El Gaucho has a mandatory 20% gratuity regardless of party size. Theoretically this shouldn't be an issue if you know restaurant culture and tip appropriately but I think a mandatory fee rubs many wrong to assume service will always be at that level. And on top of very high prices. A $72 6oz filet is $86, so those 8 bites better be damn good. That said, we ordered oysters, a filet, seafood pasta, and wine. The wine list was decent but not as extensive for a premium steak restaurant. Wines had the typical markup which meant $20-35+ per glass. Both the pasta and steak were good but - and this may sound picky - at $72 for 6 ounces of steak (a bar of soap) I expect perfection which means medium rare throughout. The steak was medium in some parts. If I can achieve medium rare throughout at home it should be possible here. So here's the math (rounded) for those interested. Total bill: $295. $225 food and drinks, $45 service fee (mandatory 20%), and $24 tax (8.8%). Interestingly, the 20% service charge is taxed which means we actually paid $49 or 28.8%. Had I been given the choice of my own 20% tip it would be applied to food and drink and a slightly lower bill. Not a huge deal but these are the little details - call it "nickel and diming" patrons - that rub many wrong. One note - another server came to our table before our food arrived and placed a steak in front of me. Before he could place the other dish I told him it wasn't our order. He picked up the steak and delivered to another table. In most restaurants - and certainly in a premium setting - that dish should have been remade. Whether perception or simple hygiene you simply can't do that. All in all, the Witness Tree was a nice spot, with tasty cocktails and ambiance. Prices and service fee will be off putting for some, and not sure this would be my go-to as there are many rooftop / view options nearby.
