The burger meat had a barbecued flavor to it, which is really impossible when it comes from a flat top grill the tater tots were oil logged the only thing that really hasn't changed. Oh my gosh, so my family has been coming here since we moved to Camas 23 years ago. I remember coming here with my son's baseball team when he was just little. Their food is still so good and I love their ice cream. Today I had the burger melt and it was yummy. Always enjoy the fish and chips as well. They have young people working here and they're always super friendly. The owners have kept up the good quality and cleanliness of this little place. It's definitely an institution here in Camas! If you have never been then, I suggest you give it a try. You will be delightfully happy. One of my favorite things is a root beer, float and man are they tasty. read more

Repeat customer since 1994, and the food is REALLY good. It is getting a bit spendy, but not when you realize a burger here is only slightly more expensive than a burger at a fast food place, yet 10x better and much larger portions. The fries are incredible, particularly if you get the ranch. My kids will get fries just so they can also get ranch! read more

Both the building and the menu have classic drive-in features, making it feel welcoming and retro satisfying. While waiting to place our orders, there were signs informing customers that everything is cooked to order, so this is another point in their favor, differentiating themselves from fast food. Even though we were placing a simple order, there was a heartening array of choices to be made - fries, tots, or onion rings, seasoning or no seasoning on the tots, multiple cheese options for the burgers, raw or sautéed for the onions. Not sure why Top Burger has bad-ish reviews. This is a cute, local burger place that makes good, fresh food! It's not fast food- it takes time to make it. We waited about 20-25 mins in the car for food (during dinner hours on a Saturday), which was what we were told before we ordered. The staff was friendly and polite! read more

The prices have gone up over the years, and the quality of food has gone down drastically. Everything is super greasy, and they like to tack on extra charges for everything. Top burger is a staple of the camas community. Reminds me of the way burger shops are supposed to be. They offer chicken, fish, hot dogs, burgers, corn dogs, and everything is really tasty. My daughters love the corn dogs while am a fan of their burgers, fries, and milkshakes/malts. It's an important note that this is not some McDonald's that throws together the food for you in 2 min. They make the food fresh. It tastes delicious, but I'd they're busy I'd be prepared to wait a bit. There's a work around though if you know what you want in advance. Give them a call with 15-20 notice and they'll have the food ready for you when you arrive. If you use their drive through, they'll have you pull into a spot and bring it out to the car! The food is great, especially the ice cream , the whole vibe of the place is very cool as well with a whole bunch of 1950's style decor, my only gripe is that the service can be a tad slow on occasion but I can understand due to how small the kitchen is. Well it all depends on who is working. Staffed by high school students, this place is a complete disorganised clusterfunk if there is no adult supervisors. Stand around, look cool, chat to your friends..... Work? What's that? Seriously ordered a milkshake. That's it. There were no other customers in the drive up or inside. 15 minutes later I go inside....."well the ice cream is hard"......... I live 1/4 mile from Top Burger. My relatives and I have been buying food weekly from Top for 15+ years. Food and "service" have always been great. Employees are friendly and get the order [from my voice to cook to bag in my car] about 97% of the time. That's okay with me. One thing that bugs me and my relatives is when the employee after taking my order and money "tells" [does not "ask"] me to drive away from the window and park my car to await receipt of my food/bag when the parking lots [I repeat, "lots"] are full and there are no customer cars behind me waiting to make an order. It would be better, if no cars are behind my car, to simply wait at the window for one-minute for a soda or fries or two-minutes for a milk shake. I understand that the owner does not want cars backed-up into the street. BUT, if no car is behind me and I order a soda and then am "told" to go find a parking spot, that is "useless" thinking. Why send a customer driving around the lots for a space when the customer [on small, quick orders] can stay in place for one-minute or two and an employee won't have to "look all around" for the customer's car? Again, I am aware that the owner/manager does not want customer cars blocking the road....... read more

When she got home, she discovered that they bun on her burger was covered with mold. She calmly went back and told them. She got nothing from them. 1st time at this little restaurant. We were driving through and saw the reviews were really good. We really enjoyed our food it was hot it was fresh. It was really good and we live in Oregon but we plan on coming on a weekend and just having a really good meal. The young lady who helped us at the window was super sweet. I just really appreciated the fact that the French fries were hot and fresh , and I'm not a big onion ring person my husband is I would actually order these for myself they were very good and they were hot. This is a great spot for dinner. We like to come after sports or a trip to the park. Or order ahead via phone and pick up at the drive thru. The burgers are better when you add the grilled onions. Plenty of parking on site and the service is both fast and friendly. This summer the dining room is not open, but at least they have picnic tables and umbrellas to enjoy your meal just outside. But that's alright, coming to Top Burger gave me an opportunity to explore an area of the state I haven't been to. I got a deluxe type burger here which has all of the toppings. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions and all of that. Also included in the burger was a thin slice of ham which I thought was unusual but wasn't offputting with the burger. The french fries were good along with a special sauce as it was called which amounted to a pretty solid diner style meal here.
