It was a hot summer day when I stopped at my local downtown Camas Squeeze and Grind. It was my first time getting a drink there. Normally I would order a hot coffee but it was so hot that I thought I would try their smoothie. I had their Tropical smoothie which was very refreshing. The service was pretty fast. The ladies in the back was quite busy that day. The smoothie was pretty creamy and not icy at all. The drink lasted long as I slowly enjoying the smoothie and tried not getting a brain freeze. A perfect choice as it was cool, refreshing and even hinted of being "healthy." Smooth, full of flavor, and a nice price too. It appeared most of their drinks come in 2 sizes with the larger one (in our case, 20 oz.) being plentiful enough to share. Service at this place a few blocks up the hill from "Main Street" was fast and friendly. They have some tables on the sidewalk, a small area inside AND a drive- through window for however you want to enjoy your drink. They also sell small food items (e.g., baked goods). So if you're either strolling or cruising in downtown Camas, stop by and they'll "squeeze and grind" you out a tasty treat. read more

"Squeeze and Grind" is a really great shop! I opted for an orange creamcicle shake and piece of carrot bread. The shake was rather mild in flavor, but the carrot bread was quite good (very moist and fresh). I'd arrived very late in the afternoon, and they'd just wrapped the few remaining baked goods in plastic (explaining why the carrot bread in my picture is wrapped). The menu is wide, and the prices are very reasonable. Service was very competent, professional, and friendly. read more

We stopped by for a quick breakfast before a day of hiking in the area. We each had their English Muffin Breakfast Sandwich (egg, bacon, American cheese), which was nothing to write home about. I'd say the sandwich was on par for what you would get at McDonalds...not bad, but certainly not great. The bacon was soft, not even remotely crisp, so if they upped the crisp-factor of the bacon that would definitely be a big improvement. I also had a small latte, and that was good. They seem to do most of their business via the drive-thru as it's just a little place and their little lobby/dine-in area is currently closed (at least it was the morning we visited). We ordered at the walk-up window and the service was a bit awkward, as they just set our food on the counter without so much as a word, no thank you or have a nice day or anything, so we weren't sure if our transaction was done or not (did we need to sign something for the credit card transaction?) and eventually asked if we were good to go. read more

This is my local go to for a cup of coffee. It's funny that I have never done a review and I go here so often. Coffee is always consistently the same great taste(16oz Almond Milk Latte). It's hard to find a place that is consistent especially with Almond milk. I sometimes treat myself to their bagel sandwiches which are always hot and fresh. Been there twice. Both times they got us the wrong size which was large and we didn't want. Both times the server told us "It came out large." and just gave it to us. They did not apologize. We were not happy at all. The first time the drinks tasted good. The second time, I ordered the same drink, it tasted pretty bitter and bad (it was a banana drink) and couldn't even finish half of it...it left me bad taste for hours after that. When you come through the drive-through you're greeted with a warm friendly face, and the coffee people that work here are experienced and know what they're talking about when it comes to coffee and coffee drinks. Always love Squeeze & Grind! We come here often. I'm VERY picky with my coffee -- most people would probably give it 5 stars for the exceptional customer service alone. Be ready ahead of time with your order when in the drive thru since they will come outside at times when the line gets backed up. I do wish they would change up their offerings from time to time and they need an app instead of the punchcard. But I love that you get receipt emailed as soon as it is charged! This place is in a great location and has a very loyal local customer base. They have a fairly quick drive-thru and pretty good coffee. I haven't tried the smoothies or pastries, but all indications tell me that those would be good too. The gal running the counter was stellar. They should be proud of the staff they employ. She even hooked up the regulars on the fly while manning the window and the counter without making me feel like I was being ignored. I had a coupon and she took it in stride without a judging look. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the lattes came out like candy. There was so much flavor in, that I cringe to think of how much sugar I drank. Next time I go back, I'll just ask for half the amount of flavoring (assuming they all do it the same). read more
