Inconsistent. Some days I'll get the best latte I've had in Camas, most days I get a latte that tastes like straight up milk. I get the same thing each time I go and it's never the same. The price is always something different as well. Last time I went, I paid $17 for two oat milk lattes, not including tip. I don't think I'll be coming again. 3 stars because of the great lattes I did have. Maybe I'm just a coffee snob, idk. read more

I wish we lived closer but probably good that we don't or else I'd be here every day. Not only for the friendly and quick service but also the vibes and the delicious drinks. Pricing is pretty average and comparable to other popular spots. They also have fun kids drinks and treats. Didn't get any food this time but I can tell you I downed my drink pretty quickly. Out exploring on a hot day. Beautiful day you're the lake and we were thirsty and a little tired needed to pick me up. We drove by and saw daily paper coffee roasters wow this is really cute We decided to do the walk up so we had time to explore the menu Very nice selection of drinks offered and baked goods. We both ordered iced drinks because of the heat. My husband had an iced latte, and I had a vanilla bean bourbon, cold brew. I was a little worried that the drink might be too sweet however it was so nicely balanced. The cold brew was smooth and refreshing with just a little sweetness delivered by the vanilla bean bourbon cream on top. Cute little coffee spot on the way to the lake! Make sure to swing by here and get a treat. The girls working are speedy and sweet. You order at the first window, then pull around to the second window on the other side to pick up your drinks. It looked like there was also a walk up window as well. Pastry selection is great and their custom roasts make for amazing coffee even if you aren't getting a specialty drink. Service is prompt and friendly and the ambiance is commensurate with a typical coffee shop. They sell bags as large as 5 lbs which is great if you're looking for something to take to the office... or just drink a ton of coffee! read more

Staff is super cheerful and double checking order details, treats are always fresh and tasty I've personally had hot and cold drinks more than ten times in recent weeks and have no complaints all drinks were exactly as I ordered them. * note : a neighbor reported to me that her mochas ( ordered twice) were both warm not hot as she preferred. So .. I recommend that all ask for condiments ( milks, cremes etc) be warmed before added to hot drinks to ensure " hotter temperatures " read more

I tried this place for the third time today and I'm done after this latest visit. The coffee is ok. The matcha is pretty bad and not consistent. The food was mediocre. The first time I ordered the midnight haze, it didn't look like the photo on the menu and realized it was missing the soft top. The second time I went it had the topping and tasted really good and today it had the soft top but the drink was mostly milk and lacking matcha. It's just too inconsistent for me. The service always leaves something to be desired too. I really hope they improve because they're local and have a drive thru which is convenient. read more

I really wanted to like this place, it's within walking distance of my home.. we had been here 3 times, just hoping it would improve. My Husband had a gift card to use so we tried again yesterday. We ordered Frappe drinks.. mine had bourbon for +2.50, not sure what that was supposed to taste like. These frappes were not only not frozen, but barely cold. The gal told my husband they don't freeze well with coconut milk added.. it's funny because they do everywhere else we go. My cup was so lightweight because it was just whipped to death w/ no ice to be found. He says he paid 20 dollars for 2 drinks.. I don't know because they didn't give him a receipt. I was so disappointed. It was crazy that they charged so much, mine was in a 20oz cup or so but didn't weigh 10oz. I hope other people have better luck. read more

I haven't been disappointed with any of the food items that I've tried so far. Their breakfast sandwiches and chocolate croissants are the best. The only thing I would recommend is that they have the chocolate croissants on extra back-stock. Super bummed when they are out of them. The service is always top notch and super friendly atmosphere. i love their espresso so, so much. Creative and thoughtful drinks, but I do hope they stop using Torani syrups. Understanding they are new, and a drive thru with other competition in the area, I would frequent the space more, if the syrup options were healthier. Otherwise, this is not a mark against them. We've learned to keep an eye out for an A-frame sign on the sidewalk saying that they're roasting. Talking to the person who personally buys and roasts all the beans, I've come to rely on his suggestions and recommendations. They also have canned cold brew, which I've never tried, but it sounds like a great to-go item if you're passing by while they're open.

What makes this place unique is that they have beer and wine available for sale too. There is also an outdoor patio and it looks like they may have music in the evenings. The barista was super friendly and while enjoying my horchata hot brew noticed numerous regulars and such a friendly vibe by all employees. I stopped by The Daily Paper two days in a row, hoping to find a new favorite coffee spot. The drive-through is really convenient, and both times I visited, the ladies working there were kind and welcoming -- their friendliness truly stood out and made the experience pleasant. The drinks and food, though, just weren't quite what I was hoping for. My cappuccino had more foam than milk, so it lacked the rich coffee flavor I enjoy, and the next day, my latte tasted mostly like warm milk with just a hint of espresso. The egg burrito was, unfortunately, cold in the middle. I really appreciated the great service and positive energy, but overall, the food and drinks didn't meet my expectations. Daily Paper Coffee Roasters is the spot! It's a drive-through, but has plenty of outdoor seating. Their coffee is one of the best around, they have their own beans that they roast in house which makes it even better. They've got a bunch of drinks to choose from, which makes it nice for those hot summer days. Definitely worth a stop! read more

Don't get me wrong, I love talking to the baristas there, but sometimes it can be more like an interview than a conversation. When one of the barista posted about Kokomo Espresso, my girlfriend said that we should go. I figured why not, a change from the norm. When we rolled up to Kokomo Espresso for the first time, there was a lovely barista named Lauren there to take our order. She didn't have any of the overwhelming energy you would find at Dutch Bros, she was just a genuinely sweet person. She took our order, and was very helpful in choosing the flavors and type of beverage. The first thing I would like to point out is the price: Dutch Bros has been increasing the price of their drinks, incrementally throughout the last few years, to the point where a large Rebel (32oz) will set you back almost $8.00, but a large Lotus (32oz) is only $7.00, saving you a dollar per visit. The flavor is also super refreshing, and I feel somewhat healthier (as healthy as one can while drinking an energy drink) consuming it. Since the Lotus is a plant-based energy syrup, as opposed to a Rebel, which is not, it's technically at least a little bit healthier for you. The flavors also definitely stick out a lot more than the Rebel, as the Lotus base has a much less overpowering taste than the acidic Rebel. Overall, I couldn't possible recommend Kokomo Espresso enough. This is absolutely going to be my new home coffee shop, and I'm happy to call it that. I strongly recommend everyone to go give them a shot!
