The gal making our medical mocha and wasp mochas was amazing and not just any barista..,she was a true artist that enjoyed her creating her artwork . It's truly wonderful to see her at work. The interior is very cute and inviting, a great spot to work, which is why I stopped in as I had some work to take care of while traveling through Vancouver. I opted for the cold brew with vanilla and sweet cream foam as I feel that is a safe option at all coffee shops. I'm not sure how they brew their coffee, but it was incredibly bitter and lacked any hint of sweetness. I didn't want an overly sweet drink, but this honestly tasted like a beer, it was bizarre. Out of surprise, But then mmmm the coffee flavor was very pleasant and even better with a packet of sugar ! Very delightful coffee. Daughter had a chocolate muffin. Other than either burnt nuts or espresso beans on top of the muffin that she picked off she ate every crumb. They do have gluten free bread, but it is made with eggs (I can't eat either boo) so I could not try the food. Would be 5 stars if I could tasted the food as well! Loved the open and airy space. A popular spot and while there's lots of seating it was nearly full at 9am on a weekday. My strawberry hazelnut seasonal latte with oat milk sounded better than it turned out. There was crushed strawberries in the bottom of the cup and overall the drink wasn't as hot as I would have liked. The breakfast sandwich was also lukewarm and the English muffin wasn't toasted so it was kind of soft overall. Flavor was decent and the service was friendly at the counter, although when they brought my sandwich, they didn't bring a napkin so I had to walk back up anyway. 3.5 overall for the pretty latte art and nice space. read more

Like many other patrons I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this business. I've been a patron since it's humble beginnings as a coffee cart at our companies office in Camas. I feel bad it has taken me so long to visit their actual brick and mortar location but I can say that it was a wonderful experience. The quality of the coffee of food is among the best in the PNW and the environment is modern yet inviting while the service is friendly and helpful. My wife and I ordered two golden lattes with oat milk and their lox bagel. The problem I often have with lattes in the area are that they are made entirely too sweet. Gold Cup had the perfect balance of sweet without compromising the taste of the coffee (they sell coffee beans too by the bag). The prices are not inexpensive. That being said, if you want cheap go to dutch bros, if you want quality and a wonderful experience make sure you put gold cup in your weekly rotation. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. read more

I was disappointed in Gold Cup. They charge a lot for mediocre coffee. I love creamy breves with no flavoring added so I can taste the coffee. I try to avoid the chains for this reason. Some over roast the beans, etc. Gold Cup's beans aren't over roasted and the coffee wasn't bitter, which I appreciated. But the coffee just lacked flavor. I decided to get coffee at the last minute, and since I hadn't been there before I didn't know about ordering ahead. When I drove up to the window there was no price list, which felt a little sneaky. Do they want you to just order and then stick you with a high price, if you haven't had the chance to look up them up? (It IS a drive through and how can you safely do that if you're driving?). I actually did look them up while waiting in line, but the menu prices listed on Yelp are way old and now coffee drinks are several dollars higher). I asked how much a 16oz Breve was and was told it was a whopping $7. So I got a 12 oz (still 6.50). What's up with charging so much for coffee & cream? Pretty soon we will be paying $10 for a cup of coffee! So between the high price and boring coffee flavor I won't be back. I was running errands and pulled over to check yelp for the closest coffee place; and when I looked up I was in the parking lot of a coffee place - so I went in. Love at first sip. My day instantly got better. I ordered a Lil' Honey breakfast sandwich and the top quality ingredients were more than mood changing, they were life changing. And buckle up because there is more. The place... is filled... with PLANTS. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I saw a Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma, a Lemon-Lime (?) Maranta, a Monstera Deliciosa, full sized Sansevieria, and a gorgeous Fiddle Leaf Fig that gave me hope that one day I could keep a Fig tree happy. The service was just the right balance of friendly and welcoming with a mindfulness that it was morning and I was there for coffee; meaning I probably hadn't had any yet. Not impersonal, but not overly boisterous. Definitely not pretentious. I came in on a dark cloud and left on a rainbow. You really can't get any better from a coffee house. I found this coffee shop near Royal Oaks CC, where I play golf, and thought it might be my new spot . . but long story short, I've made my one and only visit there . . vibe / atmosphere good, my latte was good, but I wouldn't support this place again due to disappointing service . . when our coffees were 2/3 gone, I asked at the counter if they could heat the coffee up a little . . they said they couldn't, which was understandable -- a lot of coffee shops don't offer that service . . so, I asked the worker if she could just add in a little very hot milk to heat the coffee up . . she told me that she could, but that I would have to pay for it . . when you order, you pay for the drink, and then they want a tip (which I gave), and then you don't get positive service . . Starbucks would have just given me a new coffee for free . . to add to my disappointment, I emailed in to Gold Cup through their website and got no response . . so, anyways, good place, unacceptable (to me) service, so I'm not a fan . . thanks for listening . . First the Coffee is good we ordered seasonal favorite sweater weather latte and a breakfast sandwich with a warmed cookie. The sandwich and cookie we're average with room for improvement. The latte was on point. You can purchase beans. Now for the cons. The store is physically cold and the furniture not comfortable. It does not have an inviting vibe, however the average age of coffee patrons. Seemed to be young adults(20-30 ish). They came armed with computers or friends to enjoy the coffee. The ladies working here are friendly, courteous and very helpful. The drinks and specialty seasonal drinks are delicious. There is a good variety of food on the menu for both sweet and savory tastes. Including gluten free and vegan options. The Bagel & Lox was delicious with plenty of salmon, cream cheese and arugula, topped with yummy balsamic glaze. Chai Tea Latte: taste like water! Menu said $4.75, charged me $5.25 When I asked about the price difference, and reported the taste, their response was the price was correct and if I wanted more flavor next time order with cinnamon. For 50 cents, plus I had to print my own receipt, they took the time to respond to me - with no attempt at resolution and let a customer walk away for life. My local friends and I go out for coffee/tea at least twice a week around the area. We have tried most all shops available. All have pluses and minuses but when I receive an attitude of we don't care about your business, they will lose a customer and receive a well deserved review. Note: I have gone here several other times. I didn't "complain" about my drink at the time because they were busy. I like the look (ambiance) of the place but the sound and seating is not good. Some seats are broken down. You can not hear to have a business meeting because of the cold cement acoustics. read more
