    Avocado Toast Plus (without siracha)

Very busy place! They handled the long line with charm and it moved easy. All drinks I saw with customers looked well made and delicious. Basket case was full of items I wanted one of each of. Ordered back iced tea and the Avocado Toast Plus. Best avocado toast I have had! Seriously want to eat that every day! Lots of seating inside and out. Room to use laptop or sit with a friend and talk.

Coffee shop with the cutest aesthetics! Just adorable! The service was quick and they were super friendly! I ordered an iced matcha latte sweetened with vanilla as it normally comes unsweetened. I also got a pistachio croissant which I had warmed. It was giant but yummy and not overly sweet which I appreciated. They were quite busy and there was a lot of people working on their laptops here. Quite a popular spot but I see why. Cute vibes, good service, yummy pastries and good drinks!

Quaint coffee shop. Decor with plants. Lots of bar seating, a few tables and a long communal table in the middle of the coffeeshop. Street parking paid until 6pm They offer the traditional coffees from a Coffee Roaster. We only ordered two cortados. They have milk options for plant based. Good coffee quality.

This place is already heavily reviewed and it's pretty positive. It's not a bad spot at all. It's inside a very old building and has that mid entry building smell. I am surprised that the coffee smell didn't overcome it. It must be very powerful. They were sold out of all the bakery goods which doesn't surprise me since the line was never shorter that 5 people waiting. The space is cramped for the amount of foot traffic they have. This brings us finally to the coffee. It is good. Not the finest cup I have ever had but far from the worst. The 7.50 for an oat milk latte seemed a little steep. It's at the top end of the price range for the quality and atmosphere provided. I think they could really use a second coffee machine. There's only one guy who is making coffee nonstop with 4 others behind the counter. Over all. I would have this again. But I wouldn't want to wait in the line

Compass coffee is an aesthetic and cozy coffee shop. There always seems to be a bit of a line no matter when you go. The turmeric latte was a good balance of spicy and sweet, but did have an above average amount of ice in it. I also enjoyed their iced matcha with vanilla, which was on the sweeter side.

I'm disappointed to say that the quality has significantly decreased. They are often out of pastries, beverages, and the coffee has been inconsistent. Service was once fast and friendly but now it seems slow, unprofessional, and aloof. The barista was sniffing shots with his nose practically touching the espresso then poured it into empty cups, letting it sit (get bitter) while prepping milk for 3 other beverages. One of the two baristas dumped water for my pour over before walking off to have a conversation with friends even though there was still a line of customers. By the time I received my coffee it was lukewarm and bitter. I definitely didn't leave feeling that they enjoyed making coffee or people for that matter. Lastly, the owners should clearly mark the floor or hang an "order here" sign because several customers were waiting only to be told that they were in the wrong area. Overall, it was just a super disappointing visit.

Coffee is good, doesn't disappoint. Stuff was super friendly and shop is clean. Bakery is mid, almond croissant was dry and original croissant wasn't good. I would recommend the coffee but not the bakery.

Cute little coffee shop with a great vibe. My drink was tasty and the service was great. Inside was a bit crowded but there was also an outdoor seating option for those willing to brave the cold this time of year.

If you care about the quality of your coffee this is the place to go in Vancouver! I've been here a few times and every single time the coffee is so amazing! The baristas are super helpful and very sweet as well. My favorite shop in town.

The café offers plenty of seating and feels bright and welcoming, thanks to its corner location with large windows that let in lots of natural light. The owner is from Tanzania, and the mission of the business is to serve the local community with high-quality African coffee beans. Part of the profits go back to Africa to support coffee workers and help improve living conditions in their communities. Their signature drink is the Zanzibar spiced coffee, which I featured in my photo. It's infused with a blend of warm spices that makes it truly unique. The coffee I ordered was a lighter roast, with a pleasant hint of acidity as you sip it. They also have three different food options with African bread. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to share the story behind the coffee shop, which makes the experience even more meaningful.

Vincent took great care of us. There were two of us and we couldn't decide between sweet or savory so we opted to share two dishes. Everything was incredibly delicious. I loved that they offered locally made salsa/hot sauce (from Battle Ground) and had three different types. I went for the hatch chili salsa, which went magnificently on the scrambled eggs. They offered habanero and serrano varieties as well. Great coffee and delectable lattes. Sad that they deep-fry the potatoes even for a short amount which takes away from what could be amazing flavor of the bit of rosemary. Croissant was small and flaky not so much buttery. The shop itself is definitely on the smaller side with only a few places to sit inside, so it feels more like an in-and-out coffee stop versus somewhere you're going to spend hours working or hanging out. They do serve lunch items along with pastries and coffee, and when I walked in there were a few locals standing around watching TV which gave it a casual neighborhood vibe. I ordered a large cold brew and a pecan bar from the pastry case. The cold brew was actually really good -- strong, smooth, and definitely woke me up. The pecan bar, though, wasn't my favorite. It tasted a little aged/stale and unfortunately didn't really hit the mark for me (especially when you grow up spoiled by homemade pecan bars ). Service was okay but not particularly warm or welcoming. More of a "take your order and keep it moving" type of atmosphere. Nothing rude, just not overly friendly either. All in all, still a decent little coffee stop if you're nearby and need caffeine, but with so many coffee shops in the area, I'm excited to continue exploring and see what else Vancouver has to offer
