    Tropical smoothie
    Karen W.

It was a hot summer day when I stopped at my local downtown Camas Squeeze and Grind. It was my first time getting a drink there. Normally I would order a hot coffee but it was so hot that I thought I would try their smoothie. I had their Tropical smoothie which was very refreshing. The service was pretty fast. The ladies in the back was quite busy that day. The smoothie was pretty creamy and not icy at all. The drink lasted long as I slowly enjoying the smoothie and tried not getting a brain freeze. I will definitely try their coffee next time.

Who doesn't love a cold smoothie (or chilled coffee drink) on a hot summer day. We chose a 20 oz. Tropical smoothie to share for our walk around super quaint downtown Camas. A perfect choice as it was cool, refreshing and even hinted of being "healthy." Smooth, full of flavor, and a nice price too. It appeared most of their drinks come in 2 sizes with the larger one (in our case, 20 oz.) being plentiful enough to share. Service at this place a few blocks up the hill from "Main Street" was fast and friendly. They have some tables on the sidewalk, a small area inside AND a drive- through window for however you want to enjoy your drink. They also sell small food items (e.g., baked goods). So if you're either strolling or cruising in downtown Camas, stop by and they'll "squeeze and grind" you out a tasty treat.

"Squeeze and Grind" is a really great shop! I opted for an orange creamcicle shake and piece of carrot bread. The shake was rather mild in flavor, but the carrot bread was quite good (very moist and fresh). I'd arrived very late in the afternoon, and they'd just wrapped the few remaining baked goods in plastic (explaining why the carrot bread in my picture is wrapped). The menu is wide, and the prices are very reasonable. Service was very competent, professional, and friendly.

Antioxidants smoothie w/ a scoop of peanut butter

I've had plenty of coffee drinks from S&G but this is my first ever smoothie. Needless to say it was very refreshing. I had them recommend their fave healthier smoothie and this antioxidants w/ a scoop of peanut butter did not disappoint. Yum! The staff there is always friendly. Two thumbs up!!

Coffee was bad watered down and flavorless. Rude staff as well. That's what I get for tying something new. Although the line was quick!

From start to finish, everything about our experience matched our expectations, save for one thing: while it was delicious, the Hubbard Special that I ordered, listed on the menu under "omelets", is really more of a scramble, with the four egg whites being almost impossible to detect. In fact, when it arrived at my table, I actually inquired if they forgot the eggs entirely (see attached image). Perhaps this is a misunderstanding on my part, but it should probably be described a little more clearly, because even my wife was surprised by its appearance. Would we come here again? Absolutely! Would I order the Hubbard Special again? Maybe, but only if it were actually wrapped in egg, like an omelet. Otherwise, I'm going with something else (like my wife's awesome Country Fried Steak)!

But we went on the coldest day of the year and were fortunate enough to score a table right away. I ordered the "once in a blue moon" pancakes (they normally don't have pancakes). Topped with delicious blueberries and an egg and bacon on the side. It was so good I ordered another order to take home to my family. My friends ordered the morning breakfast, a waffle, and Benedict. Everyone was really happy with their order going so far as to say the waffle was the best she's had. My friends come from Portland but I live locally. They said they would absolutely drive the over for another visit to Natalia's. The chef is to be commended. Don't miss out. But expect a reasonable wait if you come on a weekend.

As for the coffee, we ordered the Iced Tiramisu Latte & Iced Raspberry Cheesecake Latte. Both were sweet and balanced, yummy flavor. As for the food, we ordered the Avocado Toast & Turkey/avocado sandwich. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich - even caught him saying it was the best he's ever had. The avocado toast was rustic white bread with a layer of ricotta, avocado slices, and finished off with chili oil & lemon and seasonings. Very filling and savory. I'll be craving that for breakfast again. We will be returning- hopefully sooner rather than later. Great quality ingredients and service.

When I mentioned it, she just said "oh, okay, give me your drinks," and it felt like she didn't really care. It honestly made me feel like I was bothering her. Same with the one taking our order she was like annoyed. Also! I asked for my presso coffee rewards to be scanned and they did not go through i'm not sure what's happening in their system but i scanned it twice that day once for the breakfast and then later for our 2 matchas as i bought them later and none showed up. And as I felt the were annoyed already i didn't want to bother them with my rewards any further

Don't get me wrong, I love talking to the baristas there, but sometimes it can be more like an interview than a conversation. When one of the barista posted about Kokomo Espresso, my girlfriend said that we should go. I figured why not, a change from the norm. When we rolled up to Kokomo Espresso for the first time, there was a lovely barista named Lauren there to take our order. She didn't have any of the overwhelming energy you would find at Dutch Bros, she was just a genuinely sweet person. She took our order, and was very helpful in choosing the flavors and type of beverage. The first thing I would like to point out is the price: Dutch Bros has been increasing the price of their drinks, incrementally throughout the last few years, to the point where a large Rebel (32oz) will set you back almost $8.00, but a large Lotus (32oz) is only $7.00, saving you a dollar per visit. The flavor is also super refreshing, and I feel somewhat healthier (as healthy as one can while drinking an energy drink) consuming it. Since the Lotus is a plant-based energy syrup, as opposed to a Rebel, which is not, it's technically at least a little bit healthier for you. The flavors also definitely stick out a lot more than the Rebel, as the Lotus base has a much less overpowering taste than the acidic Rebel. Overall, I couldn't possible recommend Kokomo Espresso enough. This is absolutely going to be my new home coffee shop, and I'm happy to call it that. I strongly recommend everyone to go give them a shot!
