First time ordering. They were quick and it was an easy pick up. However upon unboxing I expected to see what they represent in the photos on their website. Oh I was so disappointed. What is this smashed bun? So, I had some buns at home and switched it out. Much better! The chicken was tasty. My husband said his burger was tasty but so small. So consensus is for Shake Shack: Need bigger buns, better presentation and lower prices.

    Their February dessert. Yum!!!

Delicious! We love their burgers and desserts here! Good quality, fresh and delicious! The crinkle fries are good, but they teeter on the edge of In N Out fries which are not my favorite and taste point kinetic sand. But they are crispy enough where they don't taste like that. I love their chicken bites! The K shack one was so good!! Love the sauce!

While this spot offers all the staples-burgers, shakes, and fries-the experience felt fairly standard. Given the hype and the price point, I expected a bit more 'wow' factor. It isn't a bad meal by any means, but it doesn't necessarily stand out against other local competition. I noticed a Korean-inspired menu, which is a great creative touch, though nothing particularly jumped out at me during this visit. It's a decent option if you're nearby, but perhaps not a destination spot. The atmosphere is your typical fast-food setup, and the service was pleasant enough. Being that there are only 4 of these restaurants in the region they will do okay for a while, but I don't see this location lasting.

Gluten free review $ Alright, gluten-free girl walkin' into Shake Shack like, "Let's see if this chain knows what a celiac is." Spoiler: They do! They let you know that things are cooked in the same fryer. The good news is that doesn't bother me, specifically. I ordered a burger with their gluten-free bun, which was honestly a nice little surprise. The burger? A little dry. Not Sahara desert dry, but definitely in "do I have any ketchup in my bag?" territory. Thankfully, I dressed it up a bit and made it work. Next time I will ask if they can toast the bun. As a gluten free someone this is a huge difference. Otherwise it was a little too dry. The chocolate shake? Pretty tasty. Price-wise, the burger didn't bankrupt me, which felt like a win. Shake Shack, you get a polite nod from me. Thank you for the gluten free. They do have outside seating and I loved that!

Hometown USA and excited to try this place after looking at the menu on line. Friendly and quick ordering process. Food was terrible. My chicken sandwich has a strange batter coated chicken breast which wasn't all that bad, just a lot of grease. What I detested most was the way the ingredients slid out of the sandwich and ended up on the table, not once, but three times, so much so that I had to finish it deconstructed. M said her veggie burger didn't sit well with her the remainder of the day. Crinkle fries were disgustingly bad. Cold, and tasted worse than store bought frozen fries. Why do they make them in advance and serve them cold after sitting out so long? The strawberry shake was a joke with artificial strawberry flavor and not a single strawberry. There are much better burger options in Vancouver. Killer Burger makes an awesome burger never frozen patties, and fries are made to order. When In n Out opens in Ridgefield they cut their fries by hand and burgers are never frozen. Burgerville makes an okay burger but the shakes are amazing with fresh ingredients, like pieces of fruit. Shake Shack, do better. Your prices are way high for the quality of the food and you struggle to even get the food right. I also didn't like the no drink station, no self serve condiments except ketchup, and the locked bathrooms. Really? I don't think there is another restaurant or fast food place anywhere on 164th that has locked restrooms. Not that type of neighborhood, but you sure act like it is with the lack of self serve refills and the bathrooms. Strange like the food. First and last time. Deleting the app from my phone. Won't be needing it.

Today I tried their ShackBurger. I think the only difference between this burger and cheeseburger is the shack sauce. It was good and tasty. The avocado bacon cheeseburger was very tasty. The bun size seems bigger than the cheeseburger. The avocado slices add the healthy fat that is perfect for the burger.

This is supposed to be the Dubai chocolate pistachio shake $10.00 i'd rather go to Bergerville for a real good shake

Do not bother on trying the new shakeDubai chocolate pistachio it is overpriced and taste terrible they use too much of that crunchy stuff that I call. Hey, I don't know what the name of it is but check this out. Never recommend this one.

We went on opening day and everything was OK though like many of the other reviewers had mentioned, value was lacking. The double cheeseburger was of the smash burger variety and plenty tasty. But for about $11, it seemed only slightly bigger than a quarter-pounder. The 2 scoop custard was rich and tasty but also on the smallish side at about $6. Being day one, everyone was happy, friendly & attentive. Clean, spartan, high ceilings with outdoor seating available made for a pleasant experience. But $17 for a lunch-size fast-food meal is not a good value. Hopefully deals, sales & promos will be available cuz eating out at these price points for a simple fast food lunch is not sustainable for most folks.

    Busy Grand Opening Day!

It's often been said that the California had In-n-Out and the New York had Shake Shack. As time went on Shake Shack had grown beyond the confines of the East and has beaten In-N-Out to opening a location in Vancouver. And I'm glad they did! If you've never been to a Shake Shack before, their claim to fame has been their Shakes and their Burgers. Their Shakes are definitely superior and have a quality to them that you don't feel is as "fast food"-like, and their burgers are juicy and well seasoned. Some places are known to be cheap, some are due to their sauce, but Shake Shack just tries to be a step above in every category. In this case, it includes service! Shake Shack isn't a fancy place, but even on Grand Opening day amidst their crazy busy schedules they were very efficient and exceptionally friendly. During my wait, I sat at an empty table for my takeout order. I was regularly checked on to see if I wanted water, or if they could help with anything else while I waited for my food. Every minute or two another order was being fulfilled with smiles. Vancouver has no shortage of burger options, but this Shake Shack easily outperforms the competition in the area. I hope they keep it up!

Went on opening day and was just OK. The burgers were average, hot dog was burnt, crinkle fries was like a school cafeteria. It's an east coast chain. Nuf said.

Nice place. Friendly staff and accommodating. We had a choice of ordering via tablet or to an employee at the counter. The selections of burgers and sandwiches were ample. I ordered a Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich. Very crispy and flavorful. The Cheese fries were also very good.

Absolutely terrible chicken bites. Half of them were mostly batter.

Usually I really like Burgerville, but tonight's visit was an astounding miss…read more Came through at about 8:30PM. No line in the drivethrough at all. Ordered a burger and fries, not in a combo meal. Pulled up to the first window, the guy held the card reader out the window, and told me to pick an option (I couldn't really hear him, he talked fast, plus the noise of traffic driving by outside) and then I could make the payment. The text on the card reader screen was tiny and I could barely read it. But, it showed options on it for a tip. 0%, 15%, or 20%. I couldn't figure out which button to push because the screen showed to press 1, 2 or 3, but the buttons on the keypad started with 4 and went up to 9 and 0. It took me a minute to figure out that they'd covered the 1-3 buttons with the 0%, 15%, and 20% labels. Tipping? On drive through? At a place that, to my knowledge, pays their workers a fair wage and provides benefits (I just checked their website; while I don't know what exactly they pay their workers, they do provide benefits, and even tuition reimbursement). This...didn't feel right, but I went ahead and hit the button for 15% because I would've felt guilty hitting 0%. Drove up to the second window and my food was handed out the window within about a minute. I drove straight home, about 5 minutes, and sat down to eat. The fries? Crispy, hot, perfectly salted deliciousness. The burger? Polaroid worthy. Seriously, it looked like what they could have put it on their menu. It would have been so much better if it were hot. Don't get me wrong, it was definitely hot at some point, the burger was cooked through, but this had clearly been left out from under the heat lamp for some time. I'm so, so disappointed. Even more so now that I handed this place 15% on top of whatever my bill was to be given cold food. I know, it's not a large amount of money, but it's the principle of the matter.

Also, customers are likely on their way to work and don't have time to be grabbing your device at the window and having to figure out buttons. Just swipe my card and let me go. The friendly employee was explaining which options to choose, no, 15, 20...I didn't know I'd have to get my glasses out to be able to read a device before getting my food.
