This spot offers an unexpected menu with everything from steaks, seafood, chicken, sandwiches and more. One of my new favorites is their French dip. So good! Everything we've order has been delicious. Everything is flavorful, well prepared, and served fresh and hot. On nights that they offer seafood or other "special" items it's a limited amount so they'll run out of some things pretty early. Get there for an early dinner if you can. Service is a little hit and miss. We've been in on days that our server was amazing and super friendly and other days that a server barely glanced our direction and never even came to our table. I think a couple of them really focus on their known regulars and less on people they don't immediately recognize. It's a very small dining area with limited seating but there are a few tables outside in a covered area as well. Several video poker machines are available if that's your thing. There's lots of parking, just be careful on your stroll to the door along Hwy 224. Cars are moving fast and focused on making the light more than where you might be walking on the side of the road. It's even a little more sketchy when the summer rafter start hitting the area. Overall, excellent food can be found here and is totally worth checking out. They also have a Facebook page, that I just discovered, that highlights their food offering from day to day. Give it a try!

Walked in to a pretty tiny bar with a very few tables. Half a dozen video poker machines. There is a covered patio. It was pretty cold and one table had multiple smokers. Some ganja was being consumed also. Ate inside. Fairly noisy, however it is a small bar. They have daily specials, today being smoked brisket. Meal came. Brisket was pretty good. Tender though not real smoky. Small corn cob was pretty soft from overcooking. Scalloped potatoes were OK. Just seemed like sliced potatoes with cheese melted on them in the microwave. Toast was fine. Extreme small kitchen. Surprised they can put out so much food from such a tiny area. Service was good and friendly. Definitely a locals hangout Some aspects were fine for what this place is. The smoking policy, which I assume is condoned lost one star automatically

We started by splitting a mixed lettuce salad and the burrata. The salad was fresh and had a great dressing. The burrata with the strawberries was mouth-watering. We also had some fresh focaccia bread, and it was so good. Then came the goat-cheese pappardelle and the fettuccine with clams. Both pastas were fabulous. If I had to choose one, the goat cheese was my favorite. My parents and I don't drink alcohol, so we got ginger, soda, and mocktails, which were very refreshing. The service was really good. The place was busy, but the servers seemed very relaxed and proficient. They weren't pushy, but they were there when we needed them and were all very polite. I love the ambiance. It is a large, light, and bright space. There is seating inside and out, and it has very high ceilings. I love the massive bar where you can watch the bartenders make drinks and the wood-fired pizza oven--also a nice touch. My parents had a great time on their anniversary, and we will definitely be back.

Restaurant is cute for a dinner date, girls night, celebration, etc. and I believe they have their bar connected next door too. Note that the menu changes every day (yes every single day) so some of the items you see on yelp might not be available when you go. The day I went was "fish Friday" so the menu featured seafood in more dishes. The day before was "gnocchi Thursday" I believe, which I'm glad I didn't go that day because I wanted to eat actual pasta not gnocchi We started with the insalata nostrana and arancini. Pretty small portions imo, especially for the arancini. They only give two and they are definitely not the best arancini I've had. Tasted kinda lemony?? Salad was fine but nothing special too. For mains, we got the reginette pasta featuring gulf shrimp in a lemony white wine sauce and the diavola pizza. The pasta was good, well cooked and the shrimp was not overcooked. The sauce was almost too decadent but at the same time, the taste of lemon was pretty overpowering. I wanted to try a red sauce pasta but they didn't have great options bc of fish Friday and I felt like I should try something with seafood. For the pizza, they give you scissors to cut it yourself which is fun. It was a standard Neapolitan style pizza. Thin crust and light, it was pretty good. For the most part, I could taste the quality in the ingredients but the flavors in the pasta didn't blow me away. The starters were also average, especially for the price. It's still worth checking out, especially if there's something on the daily menu that you particularly want to try!

When we arrived Saturday evening, the place was packed. The ambience of this place is really cool. It's totally decked out in German flags and wooden alpine decor that I imagine what Germany restaurants will look like when we eventually visit We waited approximately about 30 minutes for a seat which was fine. We got to our table and were tended to right away by the host and the waitress. I ordered a large 22 ounce size Stein of German beer and my son enjoyed one of their cocktail specialties, The Black Forrest, which consisted of , Jägermeister , whiskey, chocolate, and cream, topped off with chocolate sprinkles on the top. Very tasty. The wife had an Arnold Palmer, well because, someone had to drive home! LOL! The food was absolutely outstanding! My son had the Bavarian feast which is a sampling of all different types of German food. His first time having German food and he loved it. My wife ordered the chicken schnitzel and she liked it a lot. I ordered the Hungarian Jäger Schnitzel and it was outstanding. Not to mention the cheese fondue with bread and sausage and it was a perfect evening with the family.

8.5 /10 first experience…read more I usually don't divulge to PNW folks that I'm from CA lol but for this review it has to be known. Anyway Mexican food up here in the PNW is trash. It's not authentic by any means. I feel like they just cater to the demographic. I was in BG area and actually had cash on me so I pulled over to give them a try. This is the first spot that I've found to even be on the radar with back home quality. 1) they lightly toasted the the tortilla. 2) the meat was cut on the bias, thin, tender and full of flavor!! If they let it crisp up just a little more it would be next level. 3) they used real avocado slices not that nasty premade spread that has vinegar to preserve the color. Overall my burrito was delicious and it was filled great, equal beans/rice/meat ratio. Ps i ordered it without lettuce. I will absolutely be coming back to try tacos and other items. Review for salsas: I tried one of each (habanero, red and green). My favorite was the verde. It's the most flavorful. I usually like hot, hot, but won't compromise flavor. I would stick to the verde no matter what I order. I like that there's grassy patches. While I was waiting I was able to let my dog stretch her legs until the buzzer went off. The lady in the food truck was helpful and told me they have habanero as an option.

So I decided to just get to pork carnitas tacos 3 for $10.00. I brought them home and tried them out.. I put some of the orange sauce they gave me on it and it was very runny with no taste to it. They out a lot of meat on the tacos and they don't taste too bad either. My only suggestion is to put some cumin on your pork so it does not taste so wild or porky tasting. Other than it was not too bad at all. Oh and the red hot sauce is really spicey and delicious so if you like spicy get that one. I wanna go back and try their breakfast burrito sometime.
