Her awareness of timing and her general personality was the best. The food was incredible. Fromm the appetizer that were the Hush Puppies, and to the end with the fun and tasty donuts. But the lunch was the best part. I had the Fried Chicken and the meat was so tender and flavorful . A steak knife came with the plate, but the chicken could be cut with a fork. Everything we've order has been delicious. Everything is flavorful, well prepared, and served fresh and hot. On nights that they offer seafood or other "special" items it's a limited amount so they'll run out of some things pretty early. Get there for an early dinner if you can. Service is a little hit and miss. We've been in on days that our server was amazing and super friendly and other days that a server barely glanced our direction and never even came to our table. I think a couple of them really focus on their known regulars and less on people they don't immediately recognize. It's a very small dining area with limited seating but there are a few tables outside in a covered area as well. Several video poker machines are available if that's your thing. There's lots of parking, just be careful on your stroll to the door along Hwy 224. Cars are moving fast and focused on making the light more than where you might be walking on the side of the road. It's even a little more sketchy when the summer rafter start hitting the area. Overall, excellent food can be found here and is totally worth checking out.
