8.5 /10 first experience…read more I usually don't divulge to PNW folks that I'm from CA lol but for this review it has to be known. Anyway Mexican food up here in the PNW is trash. It's not authentic by any means. I feel like they just cater to the demographic. I was in BG area and actually had cash on me so I pulled over to give them a try. This is the first spot that I've found to even be on the radar with back home quality. 1) they lightly toasted the the tortilla. 2) the meat was cut on the bias, thin, tender and full of flavor!! If they let it crisp up just a little more it would be next level. 3) they used real avocado slices not that nasty premade spread that has vinegar to preserve the color. Overall my burrito was delicious and it was filled great, equal beans/rice/meat ratio. Ps i ordered it without lettuce. I will absolutely be coming back to try tacos and other items. Review for salsas: I tried one of each (habanero, red and green). My favorite was the verde. It's the most flavorful. I usually like hot, hot, but won't compromise flavor. I would stick to the verde no matter what I order. I like that there's grassy patches. While I was waiting I was able to let my dog stretch her legs until the buzzer went off. The lady in the food truck was helpful and told me they have habanero as an option.

So I decided to just get to pork carnitas tacos 3 for $10.00. I brought them home and tried them out.. I put some of the orange sauce they gave me on it and it was very runny with no taste to it. They out a lot of meat on the tacos and they don't taste too bad either. My only suggestion is to put some cumin on your pork so it does not taste so wild or porky tasting. Other than it was not too bad at all. Oh and the red hot sauce is really spicey and delicious so if you like spicy get that one. I wanna go back and try their breakfast burrito sometime.

The ribs were my next option and it was a pretty good choice. They come with homemade fries too. He was kind enough to add some of his special seasonings to the homemade fries. They were pretty good. The ribs includes 6 of them. They are pork ribs. They basically fell off the bone when I tried to eat them on my way home in the truck. The bbq sauce was delicious and so were the ribs. They were hot temperature wise too. Way too hot to eat but I ate some anyway. If you're looking for some juicy ribs this is your place. Ribs and fries for $16.00

Who would had thought that some good BBQ can be found in the parking lot of a Chevron gas station?…read moreWe went there on a Tuesday afternoon and happy to see it open to tryout their food. Note, there isn't much parking or places to sit to eat. We met Rome (owner of the food truck) and he had such a positive and passionate attitude as he described his dishes to try out. We went with the food sampler and a side of tacos. The food sampler included ribs, pulled pork, and a sausage link. Just top off the dishes per his suggestion as it adds a lot flavor and texture to the meats! The ribs were tasty and fell off the bones. Pulled pork and link was good too. He did also note that Saturdays has some specials happening. You get a Texas beef rib and possibly of getting his mac n cheese. With opening st noon, he noted he typically runs out around 2 PM. Note, each Saturday he does do a special side dish and if there is something you're interested in, you can call/text him on Wednesday for him to give it a shot to make the dish for Saturday purchase. Definitely would go back to try a Saturday meal!

The fries are well-seasoned and the batter isn't overwhelming or too thick and the jalapeño bites were delicious. My wife got fried shrimp, which were crispy and light, and mac and cheese bites. The mac and cheese bites were solid. The lovely woman who runs this place was kind enough to slip dessert into our bag, and that was some ridiculously good chocolate cake. Chickpeas on top?? Yowza. Finally, you should follow Krisey's Kitchen on Facebook because she posts the daily menu there and posts updates. That's where I saw she has been not only feeding members of the community at no cost, but she's been organizing a free Thanksgiving dinner for the community. That's doing more for the community than most are doing, and that's the kind of business I want to support.
