We were recommended this hidden gem near my brothers place and was excited to try some street tacos! Be aware of the price change to the Lengua tacos. Their menu isn't up to date. There was a little wait during a busy rush hour but it didn't bother us. After some buzzes, our order was ready! You can really see the hustle and bustle at this food truck, tucked in behind Uhaul trucks. Parking is limited; there's a signage posted on a tree to park on the street side. Enjoyed a nice lunch here under the covered dining area. Make sure to get the sauces to top off the tacos. Kudos for the workers for cooking it up in the hot trucks!

This place is so delicious the steak is my favorite, the rice and beans are amazing and they're always friendly.

Definitely delicious food. My daughter had previously brought me some tacos from here and it was soo good! I like the ambiance of food trucks that provide seating. You get the street feel of the area.

I'm definitely gonna be a regular customer here

Parking is available on the side of the street. You can order to go or to stay since they have an outside covered dining area (3 long wooden spacious picnic tables). Not as crowded whenever I get here, slightly waited because they make sure they served it perfecto

    Chimichanga

Parked next to a Shell Gas station this food truck is phenomenal! I got the super chicken burrito and my partner got a veggie chimichanga. Huge portions, and tasty! The service was nice, and relatively quick. There's a nice covered sitting area next to the truck that gives it the perfect summer ambiance!

Since I'm back on the West Coast for a few weeks, I'm still on the hunt to find some phenomenal street tacos! Taqueria Sr Lopez, was close and looked like it had potential. The location was a bit hard to find-- I unknowingly drove past it & when I made a u-turn back to my hotel I found it! Although the location was a little challenging to find, I think the actual spot is great! They have covered outdoor seating in front of the truck & I knew this would be a great place to be in the summer! Taqueria Sr Lopez, has a number of protein choices to choose from on their tacos (including el pastor & beef). I got 2 carne asada, 2 chicken, & 1 birria with a side of beans and rice (I always have to get beans and rice as it's my go to food). The service was very polite & it was nice to see someone training at the register! As a fellow worker in the food industry, I always think it's endearing to see the learning process! When I received my food I was a bit surprised that the tacos were bagged up & had the rice and beans on top-- but I did not let that discourage me. I would recommend that they use togo boxes as it would be better than having them sitting on top of each other! Overall the food was a 6/10. Everything was all pretty bland. If I had salt at my hotel I know that adding salt would have taken everything up a notch! The rice and beans were just okay, again like I said, just overall bland. But the beans did compliment the rice and so I know that the combination would be AMAZING in a rice, beans, and cheese burrito-- so I may come back to try that! The red sauce for the tacos was also interesting. It wasn't very spicy & tasted more like the chipotle Tabasco sauce but without the kick! I think the chicken had the most potential in its flavor compared to the asada. The beef in the birria was actually delicious! Very tender and seasoned well. Because this place has so many different options, I'm more than willing to try something else on the menu another time! But, I'm still on the hunt to find some authentic street tacos!

    Three street tacos. Yum!!!

Simply the best tacos! Great service! If only every day was the right weather for dining at a food truck! Yes they are parked next to a Shell station but you don't see the station while sitting at the table. Tacos are small but cheap and tasty.

I ordered the chips and salsa as well as the machete. The machete was half and half with lengua (tongue) and suadero. It was well cooked, the lengua had a nice flavor to it, and I appreciated the hot sauces available on the table. The decor inside is very nice, however, when I went in the restaurant had a scent of bathroom cleaning products. Not just a fresh or clean smell, but that scent you get from those overly scented chemical products. To be honest, that was the only downside. If it wasn't so strong and overpowering, I don't think I would have given anything less than five stars. The food is absolutely amazing, the portions are awesome, and the prices are very reasonable. Spanish speaking staff. Warm chips and good salsa. Decent rice and beans. The not so good: taco shells were not made on site, seem to be from a package. The margarita was not tasty, the mix was off and the house tequila was not so good. I could only finish half of it. Being my first time, I asked for her recommendation from the hostess on what to order? Instead of rising to the occasion, she immediately said I don't eat meat then proceeded to tell me about all the high dollar meat items. lol I could not take her recommendation to heart. I went with a somewhat safe bet of two crunchy tacos. The rice and beans were decent. The shells were crispy but flavorless. The salsa and chips were decent. The chips were warm. I finished the two tacos half the margarita and left. Would I go back here again? Probably not, with so many places to eat in this area, but I had to give it a shot. I overheard the table next to me complaining about their fajitas. The gentleman said "this is just Chuck steak" and I had to laugh out loud before I left. Disclaimer. I live in San Diego and judge Mexican food for its face value. I was not impressed. But maybe be i was there on an off night?
