Got a bad case of the lazies but had guests coming to dinner, so I wanted to place an order using Door Dash and through them stumbled upon this place. OH MY GOSH, what a lucky choice! The food is glorious. And it was packaged so nicely and attractively! Plenty of limes on the side even though we didn't request additionals. I had the Tres Quesobirria tacos and each was so packed with delicious beef! The bouillon was incredibly flavorful. I could only eat one, but one of my guests had one of mine and liked it very much. I had the last one just heated in the microwave the next day and it was almost as good as the first day. My husband and another guest both had the carne asada tacos and liked them. My husband is picky so I was relieved that he was satisfied - he actually used the words "really good" which sort of amazed me. Another guest had the chicken taco salad which was generously adorned with probably an entire avocado, and quite a lot of chicken. It was artfully prepared. Sides of rice and beans were even special; tasty and appreciated. I will be making a trip to La Catrina in person sometime very soon. read more

The food here is absolutely delicious. Grabbed burritos here almost weekly for a while, their California & breakfast burritos are amazing as is the salsa. Everyone is super nice! It's got great outdoor seating and pretty quiet area. read more

We got shrimp taco, carne asada burrito, carne asada quesadilla and cherros. Shrimps were really small and I don't think the taco was worth 4.50 (I didnt see the taco on the menu) the carne asada burrito was large and filled with a decent amount of meat. My husband liked it. The asada quesadilla was bomb......only criticism is the amount of sour cream and Pico was garbage. It wasn't even enough for half of the quesadilla. Now the curros. Gosh dang. Ridgefield lacks unique food places (other than chain restaurants) so this food truck is amazing! We've gotten a lot of their regular menu items as well as regularly menu items with customizations. The chimichanga is a favorite of ours (we get it with birria and add French fries inside) and the churros are a perfect sweet treat for afterwards. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Definitely recommend! read more

I LOVE THESE TACOS! It's my fav to stop by on my way home from work for a couple street tacos. Every employee is above and beyond nice and on top of things. I love that I can order run into the store to grab a soda (or bottle of wine) and my foods ready/ the buzzer is going off by the time I walk out. They have a great seating area that is covered IF the weather isn't disgusting lol. I treated myself to a $15 burrito bowl. It was yummy! They boiled the beans so they had a nice flavor. The rice was good and the red salsa was fire roasted. Nice variety of textures and flavors. I seem to be running into the same food at every Mexican restaurant I've been to recently. I ordered the "classic burrito" with chicken. The portions are ample (if that is your thing), However, the flavor was just bland. The only thing I could really taste was cumin. The beans and rice inside had little seasoning. Looove this place so much. First off, the owners are always so kind and welcoming. They are generous with the salsa too, which is awesome because we love salsa and all of theirs are yummy! Their salsa verde is the best, we always get extra of those, it's our favorite they offer. Everything we have tried here so far, we enjoy. Their breakfast bowl is one of our favorites. We order it with just bacon, as it usually comes with bacon and chorizo together. It is so delicious, always consistent, and they cook the eggs on top however you like them. Another item we love is their asada California burrito, it has been a special for them but they told us it's been so frequently ordered that it will most likely stay on the menu. Their asada tacos are also amazing. Their crunchy tacos are so good, they are rolled up and like fried or something. They are so crispy and they top them with beans, sour cream, spring mix, guacamole, and queso fresco. So good, but need to be eaten first so they don't lose their crisp. Their torta is also delicious. We usually get the asada torta and it's so flavorful and super filling. Sometimes we can share half and eat the other half later, it's a decent size! Overall, we love this place and frequent it often. So happy to have it so close to our home and to be able to support a local food truck. It's in a little food truck pod with a cover and there are tables to sit at as well. Good place to sit when it's a nice day! read more

Super friendly couple! Al pastor torta was delicious, bread was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Today I went to La Catrina and ordered a Cali asada burrito, Al pastor burrito, chips and guacamole. Both burritos were stuffed with delicious meat and all the toppings. The asada and the Al Pastor meat were both perfectly marinated and seasoned to perfection. The customer service was excellent! From the person taking my order to the cook preparing my order. I don't typically find poblano breakfast burritos offered. The poblano breakfast burrito is the perfect alternative to a meatless breakfast burrito. I typically find that other establishments that offer breakfast burritos only include egg, potato and cheese and maybe some type of sauce so the poblanos are an excellent addition for a tasty breakfast burrito without meat and all the flavor. La Catrina offers a DELICIOUS poblano breakfast burrito. The burrito includes a generous amount of poblano peppers, eggs, potatoes, and cheese. It pairs well with their green salsa!
