Stopped in for a treat after having lunch nearby. Not too busy for a Sunday afternoon. A few people were taking advantage of the outdoor benches in front of the store. They have a nice canvas sail overhead to give some shade for seating. The inside is super small. Not what I was expecting. It was similar to Salt & Straw on the Vancouver Waterfront. It's definitely a grab and go type of establishment. I didn't see any baked goods displayed at all. Maybe they've done away with those options?! They had a nice variety of ice-cream flavors to choose from, including non-dairy selections. They also had floats. I decided on the single scoop Mint Cookies & Cream. It was absolutely delicious, and fresh! No freezer burn whatsoever, and plenty of cookies throughout. The mint flavor wasn't too overpowering either. It was the perfect after lunch treat! Staff was okay. Not super friendly at all. She didn't say much when I walked in either. I was the only one in there. It looked like you could sample some of their flavors too, but I wasn't sure if the extra interaction was welcomed. Definitely a different customer service vibe than Salt & Straw; their employees are so friendly and personable. Overall an okay experience. Had an excellent scoop of ice cream here! Keep in mind they have a lot of seasonal items so this likely isn't going to be there when you visit. But I had their lucky charms cereal ice cream and it was so good. They let you try samples too. There often is a line because the ordering system is one party at a time but it goes quick. read more

I try to avoid a lot of sugar as much as possible, so when I do eat it it has to be worth it! Treat has great ice cream. It is perfectly chunky with a lot mix ins which is just how I like it. I have tried a few of their flavors but the main standout is the peanut butter cup and the coffee toffee. Their cookie dough is okay. Salt and straws and the ice cream place over on woodstocks is better. While there isn't anywhere to sit inside, there are picnic tables outside. The only downside here is that the inside could be designed better. It is awkward to walk in and wait in the line with little room to move so people hold the door and wait outside or crowd around the register. I had high hopes since they have good reviews here. Unfortunately, it didn't meet the expectations. Tried the samples and couldn't really decide what I really wanted since everything tasted mediocre, then I tried the salted caramel and decided to get a single scoop. It's pretty small for a single scoop that costs $4.50. The flavor is too sweet for my palate and the service wasn't as friendly as well. This is a place to try out unique blends with a rotating menu of ice cream scoops. No shakes here and it's order for take out only. No tables inside. I ordered the rhubarb option. I'd be open to coming back and trying other flavors. Daughter really enjoyed the banana nilla flavor and husband enjoyed the salted peanut butter cup option. I'd describe it as a more sophisticated Salt & Straw where the flavors are still kinda weird but more subtle and nuanced. There's some nice seating outside and plenty of parking around. I have to review Treat again because it is one of my favorite ice cream shops! I went here about a year ago for the first time and I visited it again yesterday. It was just as amazing as the first time I had it! This time I had a single split scoop of the peanut butter cup ice cream and the coffee ice cream. The peanut butter cup ice cream had big pieces of chocolate, mini peanut butter cups, and crunchy peanut butter bites. The crunchy peanut butter bites reminded me of butterfingers. There was a lot of mix-ins, which is exactly how I like my ice cream. The coffee ice cream had an amazing coffee flavor. I am a coffee lover so this ice cream was perfect for me. The mix-in in this flavor was crunchy chocolate covered toffee pieces. The ice cream in both of these flavors was so creamy, rich, and delicious. This ice cream is unreal. read more

Bunch of friends decided to go for a stroll after our lunch and load up the kids with sweets. They raved about how delicious it was, which is a given at their age. The adults did give some nods of approval in regard to their flavors. Seems like everything was made fresh and in-house which is nice. Inside is just enough room to sample, order, and take-away. They did have a awning outside to shade us from the sun. Smart move to keep us cool while slowing the melting process of the ice cream. Firstly, the store is adorable, clean, modern and easy to find. There's street parking out front and the area feels safe. Inside, there's a large menu with a list of their current flavors.
