It is the cutest most aesthetic shop with a really cute logo. Lots of parking & places to sit. Place is kept very clean. I got cookie dough in a cup, & ohh it did not disappoint. This was my first time visiting. It's very spacious inside and lots of seating. The staff was very friend. They have a lot of unique flavors and I love that they don't use dyes. Ice cream itself was very mid however. I described the ice cream is tasting more very airy and almost like a low-fat option even though it wasn't. Unlikely to return. This place was recommended by a friend and I had to give it a try. It was out of the way for me but decided that it was worth the drive. And boy the ice cream didn't disappoint at all. There was a short line in front of me, but it went by very quickly. The staffs were friendly and efficient. When it was my turn, I quickly looked at the menu and selected Cookies n' cream and Sea Salt Caramel. Both were very tasty in flavors. Oh! The decor is great for a creamery. It sort of reminds me of another creamery. They have a punch card, so after buying "x" amount, and fill up the punch card, you get to spin the wheel! I cannot wait until then. This is my favorite place in Ridgefield, Washington. You have to drive about two miles off the freeway to get here, but it's so worth it. Now every time I do go to Washington I make sure to stop in if I am in the area. The ice cream flavors are so good. They also have fabulous chocolate chocolate brownie cookies. If you go when they open around noon or 1 they often have their day old cookies half off. Yes, this bargain girl is down for that. The ice cream and gelato is heavenly too. The only complaint I have is that they rotate their flavors. My favorite is the promogrante ginger gelato but it's not always available when I come. The banana nut monkey one is also pretty good too. There is a lot to choose from and they also have a selection of gluten free and dairy free to accommodate all dietary needs. The shop itself is light and airy and the back yard overlooks a small marshy green space which is pleasant and a nice place to relax (and feel right with life). They opened about a year or two ago so relatively new and fresh. Everyone travels to Ridgefield for the new In and Out burger but this is hands down the best place in Ridgefield for me and hopefully you too. Go now - you won't regret it. read more

I just had an experience at this place called "Eight Cow" and let me tell you, it's not your typical barnyard affair! I walked in expecting moo-tastic milkshakes, but instead, I was greeted with a delicious menu that had a good portion of gluten-free and dairy-free, that made me feel almost normal. They do not have gluten-free cones at this time. They had hot chocolate that you can make into an affogato--yes, that's right! Ice cream in your hot chocolate! It's like they took the concept of "treat yourself" and threw it a party. If you're dairy free, this is an option you can pick as well! 3 cheers for non sick bellies. Now, let's talk about Brian, the server. We know his name because he asked us our names (yeah! I know. We need more kindness like that). This guy was so pleasant. He was so personable and knowledgeable. He was pointing out all of the allergy friendly options like he made them himself and was giving a TED talk. Thanks Brian! We tried the Chocolate Noir ( per Brian's recommendation) and the Almond Joyous. The Chocolate Noir was so rich and creamy that I felt like I was cheating on dairy. And the Almond Joyous? It was like biting into a candy bar. We were very delighted! I give this whole establishment of five out of five. if you're looking for a place where you can indulge without the bloat or the gluten, Eight Cow is your spot. Didn't get pictures, ate too quickly lol but the ice cream really is so good! We got the fudge brownie, raspberry lemon curd, birthday cake, and valentines special which was cherry and chocolate. We all got the chocolate thick cookie, crispy on the outside and so fudgy in the center, veryyyyy chocolatey though, like dark chocolate. The guy working was very sweet, and even made small talk about our plans. Menu is a little difficult to follow, could flow better IMO and it was also like 80° in there lol very warm. I tried Eight Cow Creamery after dinner one evening, I couldn't resist the smell of their waffle cones coming out of the building. As for inside, it was nice & bright. There is a good selection of flavors from cookies and cream to more speciality kinda. The employees were very friendly. I ordered a scoop of their Arizona Lemon Bar ice cream. I think it was a limited flavor? SO GOOD!! I prefer tart lemon typically and this was perfect. It had some cookie or shortbread mix-ins. The waffle cone was fresh, not stale. 10/10 stars! First time here and I had a really good first impression of the place! Ample seating, very clean ambiance, and kind staff members that helped provide samples! I actually loved that the menu incorporated some dairy-free options. There were also some very cute cow and ice cream-themed stickers and earrings for sale at the register too (I wanted to buy everything!). They have a cute little truck they are currently parking off Royal Road a little south of the Roseauers supermarket and on the opposite side of the street. They will soon have a brick & mortar store in the cute cluster of shops just to the north of where they currently park. Yay for us! I FINALLY made it here and it paid off! I ordered the seasonal blackberry cinnadoodle with a waffle cone (a very delicious homemade cone and I could taste the seeds in the blackberries so I knew it was fresh) and my daughter had the uni-cone with cookies and cream. Ice cream is amazing!! Wait time not so much. This is the second time we have been there about a week apart and not totally understand why it take so long. Both times you have had two scooper and and a cashier. Tonight we came in at 7:30 5/28 and your scooper Graysen was there and obviously not Wanting to work just like the last time we were there. Had at least 10 people behind us and she decided again to go to back leaving one scooper (girl with long blonde hair) - she was awesome. These guys are legit. I'm an ice cream connoisseur.. I'm super picky and proudly opinionated. Very friendly service. All young fellas working when we went and they were glad to answer questions and treat my kids great. The ice cream is made from real ingredients and you can taste it. To be honest the competition for ice cream is your favorite quarts at the store, DQ or soft serve. This place smashes all those options. I prefer it over salt n straw. Yup I said it. Visited Thursday 3/6 right at 2:00 pm when they opened. The place got busy quickly! That being said, the little gal with braces working the counter alone rocked it!!! If she was stressed by the amount of people waiting she did a great job hiding it lol She moved at a good pace, but didn't rush anyone and did it all with a smile and a bit of conversation. I tried the kookie monster ice cream, and my mom had the mint chip. Both were good, and the waffle cone was made fresh and was delish! The creamery has a great look and super cute cow theme. We have heard so much about this ice cream shop that we decided to try it. We waited 15 minutes with only one person ahead of us. On a Saturday afternoon they had no waffle cones. You had to wait while they made them one at a time although they have 2 machines. One worker came out front holding a Kleenex to his bloody nose to talk to a coworker dishing up ice cream. And he did it twice. That's rather revolting. The ice cream is good but by no means excellent and it certainly is not worth the money they charge on top of the wait with nobody else in the store. They give smaller scoops and charge more than other boutique ice cream stores. read more
