Some of the best donuts I've ever had. We picked up some donuts on our way home back to Wisconsin. Even the next day these donuts were still really good.

Glazed, chocolate iced, chocolate iced with sprinkles.

I moved to Mexico 2+ years ago and coming back next month for the chocolate covered, Bavarian cream filled doughnuts. Can't stop thinking about this place.

Some of the best donuts in Vancouver! We used to live up the street and frequented. Haven't been in years until today. They have these donuts called "stacks". They are soooo good. And they also have cream filled ones. You have to try them. The cream filled is next level. They have the best Bavarian cream ever. It was already noon when I was on this side of town so I called to see if they had anymore cream filled stacks and they had ONE left. Needless to say, I was on my way. When I got there, to my surprise, the lady working had put it aside for me. Such a nice gesture as I didn't specify I was on my way but she must've heard the excitement in my voice! lol Just as I remember them. So freaking delish!! Had to grab a couple raspberry filled, and an apple fritter as well.

Donuts are made fresh daily and delicious. Old school donut shop, the place has been around for a while with real coffee and really great donuts. Paying is always an adventure. They have seasonal donuts like pumpkin fritters right now. The service is always great and I believe it's mainly family owned and ran.

Stopped in for a sweet treat after having lunch nearby. It's an old school building and atmosphere inside. They do have their own parking lot out front and a variety of seating options inside (couch area, bar with attached stools and a couple tables). Their donut case had a nice variety of donuts and flavors. When we were there they only had cherry fritters available. The looked delicious, but I was really hoping for an apple. I did see they had another favorite of mine, the Bavarian cream! I ended up getting one of those and it was delicious! The donut was nicely browned on the outside and soft on the inside. A lot more dough than I'm used to, or prefer, but definitely tasted fresh. The cream on the inside was super yummy, as well as the chocolate frosting on top. I'm kicking myself now, after reading other reviews, that I didn't get a maple bar too, for later. I'd also like to try their banana fritters and cinnamon stack donuts. Overall a nice experience. The pricing is comparable to other similar establishments and quality above par. The ambiance inside isn't appealing to me, but a great place to get donuts to-go! Would recommend.

    Discounted day-old donuts, anyone?

I popped in on a weekday morning and it was bustling with people. The line wasn't long and I got helped quickly. The person taking my order was friendly and offered solid information comparing their chai to the London fog. He proceeded to ask me about my day and seem like he actually cared. I wasn't sticking around, but there were open tables. Things were clean. They also have plenty of room to sit outside if you'd like. There are pastries and some cold drinks in a case. There aren't a lot of gluten free options, but they did have one muffin I could have had. The drink preparation takes a bit of time. There were people already waiting and many of their drinks have special preparations (pour overs, steeping the tea). Have a minute to wait. I had the London Fog and the baristas advice held true. The flavor was worth the wait and I will surely go back. They roast their own coffee and make you feel welcome. Plus, there's a bookstore across the street. Love all around.

The café offers plenty of seating and feels bright and welcoming, thanks to its corner location with large windows that let in lots of natural light. The owner is from Tanzania, and the mission of the business is to serve the local community with high-quality African coffee beans. Part of the profits go back to Africa to support coffee workers and help improve living conditions in their communities. Their signature drink is the Zanzibar spiced coffee, which I featured in my photo. It's infused with a blend of warm spices that makes it truly unique. The coffee I ordered was a lighter roast, with a pleasant hint of acidity as you sip it. They also have three different food options with African bread. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to share the story behind the coffee shop, which makes the experience even more meaningful.
