Looks are deceiving for these donuts. Everything looks delicious but the taste is nothing special. No bathrooms. Was disappointed.

Our family of 4 went here this morning before my daughter's gymnastics class. The donuts were a 10/10. I love cream filled chocolate donuts and theirs was perfect. I love sweet, but these were the perfect level of not-super-sweet, in the sense they didn't give that "gut rock" feeling that super sweet foods have. It as great to have a doughnut that was so flavorful that was just masking everything in pure-sweet. My daughter got a pink frosting donut and my wife an apple fritter. Theirs were equally amazing in their own respective rights. Often apple fritters are a bit "hard", but can still be great. This apple fritter was frost and flavorful without being masked by pure sweet. As commented by a few others, the prices are a bit high - $3-$5 for most donuts. Granted, they are big and 1 should be plenty for most people. It's a small store that does primarily donuts so not sure they could survive with much cheaper and I'd rather have them around and make them a special occasion treat! Lastly, the young lady at the front desk was so friendly and polite. Great representation for a small locally owned business! We'll be happy to return! read more

When I travel I always like to check out small businesses and/or places I can't go back home. I happened to park outside of Next Dough Neighbor and loved the name. I popped in to get a doughnut for later and decided to get a cinnamon roll. Now the prices are a bit high but I felt like the quality was really good for the cinnamon roll I got. It was light and not overly sweet. I would stop by in the future if in Camas and had a hankering for something sweet. read more

Donut time! What a fantastic new shop in downtown Camas! Establishment was spotless, owner was very courteous and helpful and the donuts were beyond amazing. I got the Homer Simpson and it was the real deal. When coming back to Camas, this will be a must stop for me going forward. read more

Handmade from scratch equals gourmet goodness! London Fog with lavender glaze donut - if you love Earl Grey tea and lavender together this is for you. S'mores donut - sweet marshmallows and chocolate. Homer Simpson donut strawberry glazed with sprinkles. These doughnuts are more on the dense side like a light sponge bread. I can taste the yeast in the dough and it's melty sweetness is perfect. They make speciality flavors all the time. So keep watch! Get in line folks! These are worth the wait. They just opened so be patient. They only have a few seats inside to dine in. But take your donut next door to the coffee shop Piccolo and get a coffee with your donut. Or stroll the street and check out all the cute shopping of Downtown Camas. It's a great location. read more

The ambiance: it's very inviting. The service was great! The food: the dough was so good! So good! It's also better to eat it right away than storing leftovers in the fridge. The icing was too sweet for me--I'm also not a fan of icing. I am a whipped cream or cream cheese topping kind of person. These specialty doughnuts are $5 each. Wow! These donuts are amazing! They are pricey but they are huge (definitely share worthy) & made from scratch. These are gourmet and not your typical corner donut shop donuts. I took home a maple bacon & lemon meringue and they were perfection. The lemon was tangy & flavorful and the maple bacon was sweet, as maple is, but balanced by the salty bacon. Yummy YUMMY donuts. There are classic flavors and some fancy options. They are enormous so perfect for sharing. The best plan is to get there early as stock is limited and flavors sell out fast. Parking can be tight, especially if there is an event happening in downtown. There are coffee options and a few other drink options. But for the most part this is a specialty boutique vibe with lots of local pride. read more

The reviews were amazing but wondering if they were paid. I walked in the get a few dozen for clients, completely ignored, not acknowledged at all while the person behind the counter chatted with a friend. Customer service tip " acknowledge people when they come in". Prices are a little much and the fact it was busy at the bagel place and zero busy there already said a lot before I came in. I drove back into town on my way home and those two were still chatting it up. Go to Mr Maples, I see this place closing within a year. This is in the cutest little area! I would have loved to spend more time. We went back and got donuts to go two days in a row because my husband loved them that much. I was told about this place by my wife and her grandmother. They both had the cinnamon roll and loved it,so I wanted to stop in and get more. I was unaware that they closed at 1PM, but I made it there in time. The person, ( I'm assuming the owner), was very welcoming and even though he was trying to clean up and close up, he took the time to explain his process to me. He talked about his home made custard in the Boston Cream, ( sadly he was out), and explained the other varieties he had left. I ended up getting a variety of doughnuts, including the last 2 cinnamon rolls and some doughnut holes... mostly because I couldn't decide which of the wonderful creations I wanted. You have heard the expression, " YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". I have NEVER spent $80 on a dozen doughnuts, but these are doughnuts that are made with love and I would happily do it again. I'm sold.
