Even though I haven't been inside the donut shop yet my aunt ordered a dozen yesterday to take home and when my uncle bought in the box of donuts, the first thing I noticed was how the box was with the logos all around, I liked the design all around. Then after dinner my uncle opened the box and from the looks of it, the donuts look really good, nice big and fluffy. I first tried the Double Maple, it was rich but good. I thought at first this one was to rich but then I tried a second doughnut which was a round strawberry one with sprinkles on it and quickly changed my mind. The strawberry one didn't seem to have no flavor, I don't taste the strawberry at all and I was expecting some kind of strawberry jelly with strawberries or just jelly, but it was plain inside. So out of the two donuts I'd say the Double Maple one is my favorite one so far. Going to try this again soon and boost it up to a 5 star rating. Other than that delicious donuts! read more

I love maple donut bars and there's a few places in Portland I go to, however this franchise has multiple forms of maple donut bars and they are all fantastic. I passed by here on the way to a yelp event and of course drawn in by the shop name. This place not only has maple donuts but also tons of other donut variations. My daughter loves their chocolate ring and the cream cheese donut. My favorite is the double maple, which is a maple bar with a maple cream filling. The staff here is very nice, the shop is clean and I will be coming back here for sure. read more

Delicious ! I have been wanting to stop and try their donuts. Finally after getting off the 205 this morning I stopped. What a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere of a donut shop. It actually made me smile when I stepped in. I was quickly greeted and my order was taken. I loved the display of donuts before me. I wanted them all! I ordered a Maple Bacon Bar, wow amazing! I also picked up the Double Double Chocolate Cake donut, an Apple Fritter and and Old Fashioned glazed. All we delicious as a donut should be. There is something for everyone, even VEGAN!!. I stopped into this Mr. Maple location because I was in the neighborhood, and wanted to check out their newest location. This location is big, open, and inviting. The donuts are up to the same high standard as their other locations. The employee who took care of me was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. The only minor gripe with this location is the parking lot. It is TERRIBLE. Ingress and egress are particularly tricky, but once you reach the front of the store, parking is pretty easy. read more

My husband stopped in to this establishment yesterday because he loves their fritters. He ordered 3 donuts and then went to find the restrooms, which both were locked. He asked if they had a key and he was told that both restrooms were broken. He replied with "wow, that must make a long day for you" and left. This man is 72 years old and was denied the use of a restroom and lied about how both were broken. I did file a complaint with Washington State Attorney General's office and wanted people to know how they chose to treat an elderly man. I called them and told them that their actions are not acceptable and it's not ok to treat elderly people that way. I know for a fact both restroom were in fine working order. The Health Department has been notified as well. Don't go here if you love anyone who may be older than the uncaring staff that works there. read more

Oh wow so many choices when you walk in here. My senses were totally overwhelmed. I just stood there in awe for a while! So many donuts! I will definitely be coming back here to get a bigger box when I'm with my family! The girl at the counter was very sweet and took care of me right away. Sorry to say, but while the service was friendly, the donuts were not very good. I checked-out at about $19 for a dozen classic (their cheapest) donuts. While the cake donuts were moist, all of the old-fashioned donuts were dry as were the raised donuts (except for the ones that were filled). I'd been driving by this location for months thinking how good a donut sounded, so when I finally stopped in, I was all-in and bought a dozen, but was sadly disappointed. (P.S. I bought them at 1pm, so perhaps they were by then ~12 hours old and exposed to the open air.) read more

Just tried Mr. Maple today, for the first time, at the suggestion of fellow Yelpers....peeps did not steer me wrong. The fist thing you see when entering the shop is a beautiful wall of donuts and bars...almost overwhelming. I should have studied the menu online before arriving. I cannot imagine that there isn't something here for everyone. I ended up opting for a dozen donuts: 6 glazed, maple bars, chocolate frosted "rings", and jelly filled...all absolutely delicious. These donuts are more like the ones my grandmother used to make; light, but a little chewier which I love. I'll warn you that they are substantial. The maple bar alone could easily be shared. The lemon jelly filled was so natural tasting...thinking the filling may be made with actual lemon. The price for a dozen was very reasonable considering the size, quality, freshness, and flavor. In addition, the shop has a few tables where you can enjoy your desserts along with a beverage. The shop is clean and spotless! Staff is friendly and delightful. Stopped by at 10 :30am on my way home. Bought a Cherry Fritter and 2 plain Glazed Donuts that cost about $6.50. I brewed myself some coffee, sat in my fav chair, all ready to enoy the treats I just purchased. Bit into the plain Glazed first, I was confused, I thought theses donuts were supposed to be fresh, this one was hard lije it was a day maybe 2 old. Next,,I tried the Fritter, again stale, even the edges were hard. Boy was I duped, waste of money, not returning to Mr. Maple Donuts. read more
