I was at a business establishment nearby when I spotted this place. Anyone that knows me knows I have a sweet tooth, especially when its somewhere I have yet to try. It was already the late afternoon so I assumed a lot of them would be sold out. Nope, they still had almost everything. So many options to choose from, however I did spot 2 that were sold out that I would've wanted to try. I went with 6 classic since it was my first time. Went with the powdered sugar cake donut, cinnamon cake donut, coconut cake donut, maple donut, Crueller, & chocolate m&m. All were very good, even the next day. Cake donuts were just firm enough, maple donut which was my favorite was nice & soft. I really liked all of them. Skmetimes you just cant beat simple donuts. They were out of blueberry cake donut & the toasted coconut cake donut, so I want to go back & try those. read more

I came in with my kids at 6:45 PM to get a dozen donuts thinking they were 50% off because it was the end of the day when we went to pay. The girl told us that didn't start until 8 o'clock. I feel like it should've been Honored still because I was buying so many donuts to get the 50% off because they were an hour and 15 minutes from being discounted wish I was told that they were full price when I first came in because it was the end of the night. read more

This place has some of the freshest donuts around. The lady who works there is super nice. Oh they have the longest chocolate bars too. Like one inch or two longer than normal sized ones. I got the blue berry fritter this time and the raise glaze donuts too. I have not tried them yet but the chocolate bar was delicious. If you get a chance go check this place out. Asking for a friend :) My affair with Mr. Maple has reached "unconditional love" levels ... as it seems my favorite local chain for donut dalliances can do no wrong. Smitten? Obsessed? You say tomato. I say doughnut. We all scream for Mr. Maple!!! This small location may be petite, but, trust me, this is where you'll spot the best rack in East Vancouver ... cause its shelves are stacked with those soft tempting round mounds that we all have loved since birth. Luckily, the service behind the counter is friendly and patient ... I think ... as honestly my gaze goes straight past her to row after row of fresh-baked doughnuts. Ahem, excuse me, my donuts are up here... Anyways. Attention diet! Wow. This place suuucks!!! This might be the worst donut in all of WA. Serious. I ordered 4 donuts: chocolate glaze, Boston cream, s'mores, and coffee crumb. 1) the dough is DISGUSTING. Chewy and tough. Basically dense white bread in the shape of a donut. 2) the chocolate and Boston cream were too sweet! all sugar no flavor. 3) coffee crumb was too sweet as well. The crumb had no texture. I had hope for the dough, as it was a cake style donut, but again it was tough and chewy. 4) the s'mores was in the shape of a jelly donut/Boston cream. No filling! Just a tasteless s'more glaze. This was basically an uncut hamburger bun with glaze. Nasty. Ok this may sound mean, but I am dead serious. Just go to your local ma and pop spot, or pick a few up at a supermarket. read more

This place has terrible service. First time, I ordered donut holes and she gave me cake donut holes. I ended up throwing them away because they tasted like garbage. Today, I show up and there is no one behind the counter. I wait patiently for about 2 minutes, then I peep through the back door and get into the line of sight of two workers to no avail. Lived in Hillsboro and Sesame Donuts was my go-to (the location off 185th & Baseline). After moving to Vancouver it was just dang hard to find good donuts until I came across Mr. Maples off Andresen. After this location opened I've been coming here with the wife very often to get our glazed fixing. I also found out that there's a connection between Mr. Maples and Sesame donuts so maybe that's why we are gluttons for them. Have had only great experience here. Mr. Maple crafts amazingly great donuts. This is a brand-new location (opened two weeks ago as of this writing on 10/10/20), and is large, clean, bright, and inviting. COVID-19 precautions are very politely advertised and enforced. There are currently no tables inside as a COVID-19 compliance item, so all items are to-go. When I arrived, there was one customer on her way out, and a couple at the counter, so I stayed about ten feet behind. During my selection, the employee helping me asked, "Can I please ask you to wait outside? Would that be OK?", delivered in the most polite and thoughtful manner I've ever encountered, and thought to myself, "Wow, they REALLY care about not spreading the virus here", but when I turned around to leave after my purchase, I saw a VERY long line of people who had all arrived right after me. So, the word is out that an amazing donut shop is now very conveniently located on a very busy street, in a very convenient location, and I know they'll do a great business. I've always enjoyed the donuts from here....until today. I got an apple fritter, cinnamon roll and donut holes. Donut holes were cold and slightly stale. I ate half the apple fritter. It was greasy and lackluster. I had to heat it up since it didn't appear completely fresh. A few hours later I got violently sick. I threw the rest of the donuts away. The worst location by far, I always kick myself for going to Mr. Maple on Anderson so I thought I would try this location. I regret it! All of the donuts are overcooked to the point of being crispy. We got a variety of cake, buttermilk and bar. They taste rancid. We had to toss all 6 of the donuts. Absolutely will not recommend this company and will forever question how they keep expanding to new locations. read more

Gross. Picked up a half dozen around 3:00 in the afternoon anticipating a joyful family surprise. Chose ones I knew each member of the crew usually liked from other donut shops- pumpkin, old fashioned, blueberry, chocolate (all cake donuts) and filled Boston cream. The heavy texture of the cake donuts was too much but might have been tolerated if there was any flavor other than stale frying oil. The pumpkin one was orange-ish in color but there was no evidence of pumpkin or spices of any kind. The blueberry, despite the fake blueberries, had no flavor to distinguish it from the pumpkin one. The old fashioned was hard and tasted stale, but glory be! The Boston cream ones were not horrible. All but those were fed to the birds after one or two bites. Don't stop here. Drive a little further down the road to Krispy Kreme. read more

I don't know what the other locations are like; but, I was disappointed after reading all the reviews for this chain. The donuts varied in quality. We bought a wide selection for our first time buying. Most were pretty flat on taste. One was slightly underdone. Several tasted stale. With one exception, the chocolate cake didn't really taste chocolate. The pumpkin spice was awful. The texture on nearly all was off. Over mixed dough would be my guess. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. A nearby competitor has far superior products. read more

I was excited to see this place going in. The selection is great and the staff friendly. It was fun to try some of the new kinds.

I've done two reviews for this place when it first opened and another a couple months after. My family and I have went three times after those reviews and every time we went the service and quality of donuts got worse. We had previously had a young and lively employee serve us but it seems like she left and was replaced by mellow teenagers who obviously don't care about the way they make the donuts. We got an assorted dozen and the old fashioned donut we got tasted like someone tried to fry something starchy like a potato in the oil. It was not pleasant, it was also a very dry donut. We had a few maple bars that were burnt and very dry. It was extremely sad and disappointing to see this place go downhill overtime. I would recommend my friends to get donuts here and now I tell them to stay away. Angels donuts is our go to now. No matter what time of day the donuts are always fresh and delicious. Maybe this place will make a comeback and I can take this review down, but until then it's staying up :/ read more
