My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Bunnies in Ridgefield after being pulled in by the playful mural…read moreand bold signage outside. The name alone made us curious, and once we realized they served pizza, we were in. Inside, the space opens up to a medium-sized dining room with a few bar-top seats and a main counter where you order, grab a number, and seat yourself. We asked the staff for a pizza recommendation and were pointed straight to the sausage and peppers pie, made with Italian sausage and Mama Lil's peppers. Sold. We ordered a large, plus a Caesar salad, a glass of house white wine, and an IPA. They also serve liquor, which is a nice bonus. The menu leans Italian with pizzas, pastas, salads, and a meatball sandwich that immediately caught my eye, especially after seeing the table next to us order it. It looked very good. The Caesar salad came out first. The dressing was delicious, the croutons were solid, but my one critique is the presentation. It was served as whole romaine leaves, so you have to cut it yourself if you want a normal bite. Not a dealbreaker, just not my favorite style. Flavor-wise though, it was a good Caesar. Then the pizza arrived and--visually--wow. Gorgeous crust, great color, and toppings that looked perfectly balanced. But when we tried to lift a slice, reality hit. The center crust was rolled super thin and got weighed down by the toppings, making it too soft to hold up. You basically have to slide it onto your plate and eat it with a fork until you get closer to the crust. Once you hit that halfway point, though, it's fantastic. The crust edge was perfect. Flavor-wise, the pizza really delivered. The sausage was rich and savory, the Mama Lil's peppers added a great tangy heat, and there were dollops of what tasted like ricotta that tied everything together beautifully. We also added mushrooms and hot honey. You wouldn't know there was a structural issue just by looking at it. That said, I don't think I'd order the pizza again without trying something else first. I'm very curious about the meatball sandwich or a pasta dish to see how those stack up. I also learned Bunnies has a sister restaurant, Little Conejo, which I've been to a few times but haven't always loved. This spot feels like it has a lot of potential, and I'd definitely come back. I just want to be honest about the execution right now, because the flavors are there.

A staple every time I come here is the wedge salad. I could eat the whole thing. Then sun dried tomatoes are just so flavorful. It's the best. Today, I got the Gabagool pizza with the hot honey. Seriously, WOW. Even my husband said that it was THE BEST pizza he has ever had in his life. I know it's a bold claim, but it was truly that good. We also got the rigatoni, which my kids completely smashed. They absolutely loved it. ***Of all the pasta dishes, this is by far hands down the best one. The fettuccine Alfredo pasta was a bit too heavy and fell a little short of flavor. We've also had the carbonara, same thing. If the pancetta was a little more crispy and little less butter it would be good. All the staff is really nice and friendly. *Only thing I am not a fan of is the seating. People sitting on the big table won't allow you to sit in the middle or they give a major side eye. So you couldn't even sit there without feeling unwelcomed. The outdoor seating doesn't have heaters. The taller bar tables with the bar stools aren't safe for younger kids. 1 person was taking up the corner table which could fit a family of 5. It can get frustrating, and often times I don't go here because of the seating situation. With that being said I still absolutely recommend eating here. It is worth the drive from Portland or even Kalama. It is a 100% must go to. They only serve pizza after 3:00pm.

I've had the butter chicken pizza and the Hawaiian pizza subbed with pepperoni, and all of them were absolutely delicious. We ordered larges, and they were huge--definitely great value for the price. We live close by, so we've done pickup a couple of times, and it's been super easy and convenient. Delivery has also been solid--the pizzas arrived hot, fresh, and ready to eat. I've tried quite a few pizza places around town since moving here two years ago, and so far, this one is my favorite. It's so nice (and convenient!) to have a place this good so close to me and Salmon Creek. This is definitely our go-to pizza spot now.

I got the large butter chili chicken pizza and it came with two sides of ranch. The pizza was piled high with juicy and flavorful chicken and fresh tomatoes and onions. The sauce was comforting with a slight kick and the crust was just thick and crispy enough to support the amazing toppings. The ranch was creamy and zesty, which paired great with the curry forward pizza. The large size pizza was adequate for two pretty hungry people. Overall, this pizza was flavorful and addicting and I look forward to trying more of their menu.

The mozzarella sticks were ok'ish but a bit less than fresh out of the fryer warm, which was odd since we were the only customers there and it was just after they opened. The marina served with them was ok, but also severed cold, which is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. The pizza (a medium Pacific Hwy) was ok. The toppings were fine but the crust, particularly from the edge in, was way too thin making it difficult to eat without having all the toppings fall off. The crust itself was mediocre. My wife had a Wildcat Grinder and she liked it. The French fries were very good. So with all the above it would've been a 3-3.5, but what drags them down to 2 stars is the price.......over $60. That is just WAY too much for what amounts to very middle of the road pizza/food.

The server always makes sure to switch it to Disney channel for my toddler to enjoy. The menu is massive, tons of options for everyone. I will say I was not impressed by the chicken wrap I ordered once. Too much onion and lettuce, lacking in flavor overall. So I do wish they'd maybe have more flavorful wrap or salad options. But everything else I've had has been great. The burgers are always a safe bet, very tasty and full of toppings. It is on the pricier side, but I think most restaurants are these days. Service has always been super friendly. One of the waiters have my 3 year old a beanie baby toy during one of visits, my son was ecstatic about it. Oh and their breakfast menu is good too!
