I have had Detroit Pizza in BG and having one closer is great. Came to the Camas location and picked up 2 pies. One Mac Attack which my family loves and the other one was pepperoni, sausage and pepperoncini. Ordered online came in to pick it up. Was greeted with a hello and got my pizza right away. This is my first Detroit style pizza. I got a medium Mustang for $30 and it was pretty good, overall a 4/5. The dough was medium thickness, soft, chewy and a little sweet. Really different but I liked it. The sauce was good as were the toppings. The downside is the cost and the venue is a little small. Overall a great addition to Camas and the Crown Park neighborhood. It replaced the vape shop which is a good thing IMHO. read more

Staff is happy and helpful, inside colors on the walls is warm and inviting with excellent bathroom, know that thin crust is available with all sizes except small also cauliflower crust available on LARGE only. 7 salad dressings to choose from. Build your own pizza, sandwich there are potato wedges, cheese bread, bread 'Styxx' (fun way to spell it) twelve 12 sauce choices ten 10 meats, sixteen 16 toppings, four 4 cheeses, apple pie bread styxx plus apple pie crumble topping pizza Wowzers. Even their landlord loved them. The sauce we had was zesty original red and it was lightly seasoned with a warm tomato flavor very nice the pepperoni was large and delicious I will try more options but for now I'm a big thumbs up to all things Detroit Pizza !! I'm a Michigan native, so I was a bit skeptical of a Detroit Pizza place whose website photos only include rounds and that up-charges $1.50 for Detroit crust. All that to say, the pizza and service are both great at Detroit Pizza in Camas!! Fresh ingredients from the veggies to the cheese, great crust, and house made ranch. We were ordering takeout as first-time customers on a Friday night and there was only a 20-min wait time and the server on the phone provided recommendations and offered free cheesy bread because it was our first order. Staff was very friendly, not too savvy off hand on menu, but no big deal. When I got there was stunned when she said $31 dollars after seeing the pizza in box. 2-3" of outer was just crust no sauce no cheese. Big 3" round pepperoni scattered around barely covering pizza. Taste did not warrant the price, ive enjoyed $4.95 Red Barron late night froz3n pizza more. $31 dollars for a 14" pepperoni pizza that is no comparison to Leonardos pizza if yr gonna spend $30 bucks for 1 topping. No clue how thry are in business, cant imagine ever going a 2nd time when paying that much for pretty sub par tasting pizza. Have never been here until last night. Walked in and had a warm greeting and the place smelled A-mazing!!!! The pizza was freaking delicious and the waitress suggested the garlic butter crust. My bf had the Italian sub and we shared a huge salad. Like that wasn't enough food we received the CinnaStyx complimentary when I told them it was my first time in. Both the pizza and bread were absolutely delicious! Everything from the sauce to the toppings, to the crust really hit the spot! Made amazing leftovers too. I would probably rate this closer to a 3.5 but because of service I went to a 4 since it didn't let me. Pizza crust was good and crunchy, flavor was lacking. My husband and I decided to give Detroit Pizza a try after an invitation from an employee, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic, and it was kid-friendly for our 19-month-old. My husband and I rarely agree on pizzas, but we finally did here. Their cheese bread is no joke. The cheese pull is serious business! The Mac Attack is a creative, fun, ultra-cheesy option that we'll definitely enjoy again soon. The Renaissance has a fantastic marinara, the crust is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were plentiful. My son couldn't get enough of the marinara sauce and kept insisting on more of it. We also ordered the Joe Louis Knockout Margarita and the Lavender Motor City Drop. Both were really flavorful with good pours. I'm excited that they deliver out to Washougal (they will deliver in a 6 mile radius, sometimes 8). We don't have many options out here, so it's great to add another amazing place to the options. The service was absolutely incredible, and everyone was so friendly. Don't be fooled by its location, and don't just pass it by. You definitely need to try this place out! read more

We had a very large group of 20+ come on a Saturday at noon. The women working were incredibly accommodating and professional and a pleasure to work with. The pizzas were beyond expectations. Went in for a $5 slice, but was told I had to get a drink too, which I didn't want, so it came to $7-something, which is pretty spendy for a slice. At that price, it should be good. It wasn't. Friendly staff, but mediocre pizza. We ordered a Detroit Style Deep Dish, and it was definitely not a Detroit style pizza. They use regular pizza dough, not the type of dough that give you a light, airy, high rise crispy crust. Instead, the dough was thick, dense and not even fully cooked through in spots. The pizza itself lacked flavor, and they were pretty skimpy on the toppings compared to other places. It's too bad, I drive by this place all the time and was really hoping to be able to get a great Detroit style pizza without having to drive to Portland, but unfortunately this was not it. read more

My Aunt, who lives with us was very excited to try this "Detroit" pizza. She ordered an extra large combo and it was gross. The crust on the edge was soft and puffy, but the inside crust was about 1/2 inch thick and gummy. The sausage topping was mostly in one clump, there were clumps of flavorless sauce plopped on top and the minimal cheese was not even melted. I ate 1 piece and got grossed out. A Detroit style pizza should have cheese to the edge that is well baked and almost crispy. The whole crust should be deep dish, not just the edges. My Aunt lives off of Social security and wanted to treat the family. Forty dollars is a ridiculous price for a one star pizza. Julianos is high priced but you get quality ingredients and it is worth the splurge. read more
