I finally made my way to La Sorrentina & I'm so happy our paths crossed. Last summer, I was lucky enough to visit Italy for the first time and have since been on the lookout for authentic pasta and pizza. This restaurant transported me right back to Italy without the jet lag. We ordered a multitude of dishes (forgot to take pictures): appetizers, pasta, eggplant, pizza, & dessert and loved every single dish brought out from the kitchen. This place is a true gem. I can't wait to go back!

La Sorrentina is the place to go when you have friends and family in town, or you just want a nice meal out with the boo. We diner here pretty regularly and have tried a lot of their pizzas, we've been meaning to try their pastas as well but those pizzas are addicting! All their pizzas are made in an impressive ginormous authentic fire brick oven. The owner is super welcoming, he always waves at us like he missed us so much since the last time we came through. He's also very hard working, when the store is busy, you best believe he marches himself back onto the line and cranks out those pizzas! Great guy all around. Now onto the food! - Bruschetta Antipasti: Crispy baguette topped with heirloom tomatoes mixed basil, olive oil, salt, pepper, and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. The tomato mix was under salted causing every ingredient to be tasted separately. Salt would have definitely helped bring all the flavors together and highlighted the freshness of the tomatoes. It was a quick fix, I just had salt brought to the table and we lightly salted marrying all the flavors together and making the bite whole. It was so good, I had to recreate it at home the following evening and will probably do so tonight as well! - Nduja e Patate pizza: This is a Pizza Blanche or white pizza meaning red sauce isn't used. The sausage with the crispy bites of potato, the caramelized onion, and the fresh basil were absolutely amazing. Their crust is so unbelievably light and chewy, and the toppings were so fresh and tasty. The sausage was very chorizo like. It was overall an amazing pizza. - Tomato Pizza Special: This was a Pizza Rosse. It was topped with pesto, sausage, heirloom tomatoes, shaved ricotta, and fresh basil. This was a bit heavier with thick slices of heirloom tomatoes. The shaved ricotta was such a nice touch. It altered the texture of a cheese that I usually find a bit heavy into something so light and delightful. - White Pizza Special (I can't recall the name but this one is my all time favorite!) This pizza is the best thing I've ever tried! Mozzarella, goat cheese, mushrooms (lots of mushrooms), basil, and a drizzle of honey. The honey with the goat cheese, the texture of the mushrooms, the fresh basil, this pizza just gives so much with so little. Definitely stopping by again before they remove this special because I LOVED it! - Angioletti Dessert: We usually finish dinner off with something sweet from here. If we're a bit stuff from pizza as we were tonight, we opt for the Angioletti! Fried pizza dough tossed in a light coating of cinnamon sugar, with powdered sugar and a drizzle of Nutella. Their dough is so light and fluffy and frying it brings on a whole new level of fluff! They don't overly sugar anything so you're not left feeling super heavy. The beat dessert to finish things off lightly! Side bar: if you like spice, ask for some of the spicy oil and some salt. Dip your crust in the oil and sprinkle just a bit of salt for the perfect bite. Enjoy!

Been 5 years since I reviewed la Sorrentina and it is still the best Napoli style pizza in Clark County. Service is good and the vibe is fun.

After a long day of errands, we were looking forward to quiet evening at home with pizza and beer. Being new to the area, we searched on Yelp for a local good pizza place and found ourselves at La Sorrentina. We arrived at 7:15 pm and concerned we may not have time to order food to go as the restaurant closes at 8 pm on Sundays. The hostess informed us that unfortunately, they were out of regular pizza dough and that they only had gluten-free dough left. We decided to try their margherita and salsccia e funghi pizzas. Surprisingly, they were delicious!! We thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely order them again. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and parking should not be an issue. Staff was friendly and efficient.

This restaurant is in an unassuming strip mall. It's got lots of seating. We arrived at 6:45 on a Friday night and there was a 20-30 min wait. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly. We ordered the Margherita DOC and the special pizza, which had a white sauce, truffles and mushrooms. The pizza was as if I was ordering it in Rome. Perfection! And the prices are reasonable. I think the margherita was $16 and I ate it for lunch the next day, too.

Recommend you make reservations in advance. I like the open view of the kitchen, very clean and you can see them preparing the pizzas. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They all help each other...when I needed some extra silverware, other servers just took care of us instead of telling us to wait for our main server. I appreciate that so much. The food was all very delicious and beautiful. The calamari did surprise me there was shrimp. Our table didn't mind since none of us has allergies to shrimp but I can see that could be a problem for other people. 4 people and we devoured all of what we ordered.

I am happy that Vancouver, WA has a spot for good pizza! I tried the diavola pizza with salame and chili flakes and the toppings and the breading had a really nice taste. Service was also super attentive too which I liked and they gave out good suggestions!

One of the best pizzas I've tried so far. We ordered a calzone and mortadella pizza. Both were amazing. Will be back to try others.

This place is very busy so call in advance for reservations if possible. The waiting area in front is crowded and the check-in process is chaotic. The food however is terrific. Theie pizza crust is delicious! So far the sausage pizza with momma lils peppers and the pizza Bianca with eggplant, sausage, and peppers are my favorites. The service is friendly and competent. So far, we have always been seated outside which I enjoy in the summer.

Dinner on a Friday afternoon at La Sortentina was a pleasant experience. Casual atmosphere where friends, families and coworkers were dining. We didn't have a reservation, but there were open tables available and we were seated immediately. We ordered a Barbbie and Caesar salad, Frutti De Mare pasta, and Marguerite pizza. Love the crust on the pizza, nice chew to it, simple ingredients made it shine. The Barbbie salad was refreshing, red lettuce, feta cheese, walnuts, orange wedges, drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Frutti De Mare pasta, al dent pasta, mussels, clams, and shrimp. It needed a little bit more salt. It was good dinner for a hot summer day.

The pizza melts in your mouth. I'm not joking when I first ate at their food cart many years ago, I would have dreams about eating here. I have tried several types of pizzas since then and all of it has been great! I plan on eating my way through the whole menu. But starting simple with a Pepperoni might be the best place to start. I also order some of their bread and eat it with the pizza. They also have great deserrts and other items. The Nutella calzone will make your mouth dance with happiness. Eat here!

Terrible service.. don't waste your time here. Ran out of pizza and nasty food. There's a better place down the street called Pizza Rio Otto.

In addition to pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers, they've added a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese, spinach artichoke dip and ice cream floats. They have a nice variety of beers and ciders. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We love their QR code ordering system. It helps you get your food faster and you can just pay your tab on your phone. Such a convenience! You can also make reservations online, which is great for large parties. As others have mentioned, it is located in an odd industrial area set back from the main road. It's easy to miss if you're not watching for their sign. There's plenty of parking and a large outdoor seating area during the summer. Their food prices have gone up, and some items seem a little steep now, but that seems to be happening everywhere nowadays.
