We got the family size 16" combo grande, leonardo's supreme and maui The combo grande came with salami, sausage, beef, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, onions, peppers and fresh tomatoes on top. Leonardo's supreme had sausage, pepperoni, olives, mushroom and salami on it. Maui is a classic hawaiian pizza with canadian bacon and pineapple. All the pizzas had generous toppings and delicious. The pizza's are a bit spendy but worth the money in my opinion. My favorite was the combo grande with the variety of toppings. read more

Been a customer for over nine years according to yelp. This is a top notch pizza, dine in for the best crunch to the crust. The pounder with fresh tomatoes on the top is hands down my personal favorite. Salad bar is good fresh crisp lettuce, egg, ham, cheese, sunflower seeds to name a few. ​Well, I recently made a return trip to Leonardo's after quite a while. The good news? The pizza here is absolutely fantastic! One of my favorites in the Vancouver area. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired, and the price point feels like it's astronomically climbing for what you actually receive--the value equation just doesn't quite meet. ​The Pepperoncini Problem ​I ordered my usual, the Leonardo supreme. Since they historically offer a very small amount of pepperoncinis, I made sure to order an extra topping of them. I'm not exaggerating when I say that for the price of an extra topping, I received what looked like a grand total of eight slices. ​When they initially presented the pizza, there were literally only four on top, so I politely pointed it out and asked, "Hey, I really want this to look like a full topping since I'm paying extra for more. Can you please add more?" The employee left, came back, and then stated, "Look, if I give you any more, I have to charge you." I simply said "okay" and left. I thought maybe I was being unreasonable, but my wife, whom I showed later, completely agreed with me. ​ ​Experiences like this are unfortunately why we don't go back more often. The staff seems generally inexperienced and appears to lack the support needed to effectively deal with crowds and customer service issues. While they appear very young, it gives the impression that they simply don't care. The restaurant is constantly busy, and the atmosphere is vibrant--it seems there's always some type of event happening. ​This high volume is likely why you'll see a mix of negative reviews; there hasn't been much change because the money is consistently coming in. ​Honestly, this could be a mind-blowingly amazing place if management would just step up their game regarding service. They need to invest in their people, providing the support required to handle questions and crowds with professionalism. If they aren't going to lower the prices, they absolutely need to look at providing the value that warrants such a high premium. ​With the quality of the pizza alone, this should have been an easy 5-star review. Another successful pizza lunch date with my parents was had here today. I must say, it's really quite spacious and would be great for groups and much to our delight they had about 6 or so booths all along the windows. There was a 12 top seated in the middle of the room and the noise level was quite high until they finally left. Service was friendly and with a smile. You order at the register in the back. They give you napkins, plates, utensils and your number to put on your table so they can bring your pizza to your table. We ordered a large, fresh mushrooms, Kalamata olives, my parents had their portion with the pepperoni on last so it gets crispy. I didn't get pepperoni on my portion, instead I got artichoke hearts. And the sauce was so tomatoey and tangy. Damn! This was my first visit. I'm really vibing on this place because the sauce is divine, I can actually get Kalama olives and artichoke hearts on my pizza! So rare. The one thing that didn't hold up for me was the crust. It was too soft. Overall a returnable experience. The young man at the till was pretty dry not to engaging. Started with Gorgonzola-Pear salad it was fresh, crisp and had a great balance of lettuce to toppings. Got the Combo Grande Pizza and it was loaded with toppings and the crust had great flavor and it held up to all those toppings. I believe the prices are fair for what you get. This is the second time ordering from this shop. The first pizza was pretty good. This time, not so much. The Pizza wasn't greasy or cooked incorrectly, but simply the design was odd. For a traditional "Supreme" I would have counted on more vegetables. The large chunks of sausage got real old, real quick. One would figure that customers would prefer the proteins to be spread out evenly in order to enjoy the combined flavors. Eating a huge chunk of sausage was nice for the first one, and after that we simply pushed them off to the side of the carton. 3-Stars is for the well cooked thin crust, the basic ingredients, and the fact that it was an oddball "Supreme" in one carton. I've always had a good experience with this business until ordered a family size pepperoni. Everything normal except I asked for garlic on the side. When I picked up and payed, the girl said the only way they do it is putting the garlic under the toppings only and don't have garlic on the side. The pizza was just okay. I could compare it to Dominoes in amount of toppings. I didn't taste any extra garlic. I won't go here anymore unless Juliano's is closed. read more

We started going to Leonardo's when they first opened. Our son had a field trip there way back in kindergarten. Their pizza has always been top quality. The ingredients, dough, crispness, amount of toppings, just everything has been perfect. We moved from the area 5 years ago and have been seeing FB posts from customers of Leonardo's. Money is well earned and so eating out needs more time to spend that hard earned cash carefully. 5/5 stars, yes. Best pizza in Vancouver, I don't think it is, but I haven't tried too many pizza joints in Vancouver. I will say that it's the best pizza I've tried so far in Vancouver and I'm one happy customer. Thanks. Came in on a Sunday night and the booths were all full. So it seemed like people like the place and it's getting by. The crew looked young, but seemed happy and like they were gelling as a team. The giant Hobart dough mixer in the back was a good sign right off the bat. The kids were tossing fresh dough around and covered in flour so I had high hopes. The beer list was ok, I had one by pelican brewing that was ok, kinda hoppy. And I had a honey pear cider that was also just ok. It was a typical IPA focused list with coors light and a couple ciders. Give barrel mountain brewing a call in battleground wa, they'll take your taps to the next level. We ordered a Caesar salad, medium three topping byo, and the vegetarian add sausage. The Caesar was great. Good portion size for the money, and it came with some bonus bread sticks! We didn't even know bread sticks were included! Now is where I'll complain about the free stuff. The bread sticks and the dough had so much potential. The dough is great. The way it bakes up is really nice. It just felt like that blank canvas wanted some paint to make it a work of art. A painting of garlic butter? Sprinkle of parsley? Smoked paprika? A bit of salt? Stuff some cheese into them? Some Alfredo or marinara sauce to dip into? All of the above? Idk, they were bread sticks and they were just that. Plain sticks of bread with almost no flavor. After I ate them I wished I had saved more room for pizza. The empty basket they came in reminded me of a crime scene photo with a chalk outline. I was worried at this point. I was really hoping the pizza was better than the bread sticks. It was. The pizza came out next, I love salt so my build your own was sausage, feta, and green olives. Perfect cook on it, toppings were generous, that's really important to me on pizza. If I'm spending like 9$ on toppings and you're cheap, I won't be coming back. So a big juicy pass on that grade. The next pizza to hit the table was the vegetarian with sausage added and wow, that thing was impressive. The wow was real, and the wow was huge. Everyone's face lit up like it was a birthday cake with candles on it. Ear to ear smiles all around. Is it easy to eat? Not really. Things fall off, like a lot of things fall off. But that's good. Really good. A great big piece of sausage falls off, next to a big tomato slice, and you gotta make em a little cracker type snack by smushin em together an gobbelin it down. Is it first date pizza? Maybe not, but if she still likes you after messy pizza she's a keeper. The only critique I have of the vegetarian beast was that it may have been the slightest bit under cooked. Like it was a pass, but it could have gone a minute longer because the plethora of vegetables created a layer of insulation that resulted in onions that were still a little under cooked, and the dough wasn't as crisp on that one. If I get it again, which is a good possibility, I think I'll ask for half the cheese under, and half the cheese over the toppings, just to see if it's easier to eat and less stuff falling. Overall I had a great time, everyone was friendly and fun, the food was all really good, and I'll probably be coming back sometime in the future. If you made it this far go check em out. This place came highly recommended from a good friend. So during all this COVID Era it's still fairly easy to call up and order for pick up! So we ordered the 9 pounder. I believe. When I say we picked up the pizza. The box was pretty heavy and smelt to good in the car ride home. Eventually we get back to the house. The pizza box opens and I was in Pizza Heaven. The toppings were all over and plentiful. The meats that came on the pizza were big and looked great! So then I dug in! Whooaaaa it was so tasty from the crust the sauce! Every key point was hit! A great family oriented restaurant with good pizza. They have an impressive range of beer on tap, but the reason for my lower rating is they have no non-alcoholic beer option. I chose Leonardo's Pizzeria because it had the best salad choice of all the pizza joints in Vancouver. The pear and Gorgonzola salad is fantastic! Apparently the rest of the family thought the combo grande pizza was outstanding, too. It was completely gone before I could get a picture, lol. We ordered to pick up because of our baby grandson at home, but we look forward to returning in the future to try out their excellent on tap choices and more pizza. I love Leonardo's and have been a regular there for longer than I can remember... they are consistently great, their dining area is neat and clean most of the time and the staff is pleasant... what sets them apart is their quality... one of the best in town for sure... The Blind Onion and Juliano's can't come close... BUT... their prices are over the top, they are totally pricing themselves out of the market! Okay, prices have gone up but $32.00 for a small pizza? Really? I'm a single person so no big deal but what about families? Pizza used to be weekly thing but not anymore... in my humble opinion, they are totally "wallet vacumers"... yep... pure and simple... no glossing over it...
