First time eating Champs and thought it was great pizza and a fair price. So good that I barely had time to snap a few pictures lol... The cheesy bread sticks were delicious, definitely one of the best ones we've eaten for a while. Keep in mind we have children so the pizza slices were cut in half on the cheese bread and Detroit pizza. read more

I've never heard of this place until I found it on GrubHub. I ordered 15 wings and the price was a little steep, but not too bad. The wings were made perfectly how I like them fully cooked through with a little bit of char on them and covered all over in buffalo sauce. They did amazing. I haven't been to the actual location yet, but I'm sure the service and ambience would be great thanks guys. read more

This is usually my go-to location for delivery pizza, but I was in the area and decided to pick one up today. They had a special on one topping stuffed crust pizzas for $14.99 which is a really good deal given how much their pies generally cost. The cupped pepperonis were delicious and they did not skimp on the cheese in the crust. Highly recommend. Bonus? It was ready from order to me walking out in 12 minutes flat. The service was speedy. read more

Wasn't expecting much but I'm a sucker for stuffed crust. The crust was a lil dry otherwise but I'd come again.

I was visiting here from Los Angeles and this was the first time I tried to champ pizza. I just have to say that it is by far one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted.. I wasn't able to order online for some reason something was going on on their website that wasn't allowing me to choose the lunch special so I called in and the gentleman on the other side was very cordial. Great customer service. I ordered their lunch special, which came with a Detroit style pizza and a drink, and I went in to pick it up about 15 minutes later . Real nice and homely pizza shop like inside. The pizza itself was really beautiful. The cheese was perfect the sauce on top as I got the veggie Detroit pizza was just amazing. I've never had pizza with the sauce over it like this and the crust was very airy while at the same time crispy and crunchy on the bottom and buttery. It was just an amazing pizza and this was for the Detroit pizza which is the one I tried. I have never had a Detroit style pizza like this anywhere in Southern California. read more

I used to like this pizza a lot, partly because they had their own delivery. Something changed--quality isn't as good and they've outsourced delivery to Uber. Since door dash/uber/Grubhub drivers habitually don't use hot bags and will spend a bunch of time dropping off multiple orders, the pizza shows up cold now. I miss the days when places had their own actual delivery drivers. Everything in this timeline is trash. read more

Best pizza of its kind available for pick up or delivery. The pepperoni is the only pepperoni that I enjoy. The crust has great flavor and a great chew. The delivery is spot on and its is always on time. They have never been lost like many delivery places. I love their help in the community and sports. read more

I'm surprised I'm writing this review to be honest. I've actually ordered from another location a number of times and have had positive experiences. But this location in particular just do not have their act together. On four separate occasions I have gone to this location because they have a particular Detroit Style Pizza that has been unlisted at other locations. The other locations unlisted the particular pizza because they're out of ingredients for it. This location has, on all four occasions, also not have the necessary ingredient (Brie), but only inform me as such usually after I get there. There was one occasion where they did try to call me which was appreciated. I called earlier this day to check if they had all the ingredients, and I was assured they did. On this last occasion after arriving, which was roughly 40 minutes or so after my order, my pizza wasn't ready. So here are the problems: - The Staff were at a loss what to do with my Pizza. The Manager was not available to speak to me directly and I had to go through a staff member who was new. While she was nice, the staff was definitely not cross trained and nothing was offered. - All they offered was a refund after waiting and arriving. No offer to exchange toppings, change pizzas, or otherwise. I literally asked if they are telling me to get food somewhere else, and they said "This is all we could do." This is terrible and baffling. The Champ Pizza near Camas once messed up my order with allergens/toppings and they redid the whole pizza for me. But this place wouldn't even make me a pizza to start with. As I left, I remarked it was kind of nuts how they wouldn't even offer a topping exchange. And the Cashier who made the refund for me just said "Yeah." Poorly trained staff, no actual customer service, no pizza, how could I give anything else but a one star for this location? I want to stress this is a review for this particular location ( Vancouver Mall), I've had a good time at other Champ Pizza locations. I hope others will have better luck than I did( four times). read more

Not a huge update at all, but Champs is great at being close by, offering easy online ordering that they have yet to f**k up and have added pan pizza to their menu. We're big fans of the Motor City frozen pan pizzas at Costco so we gleefully added an 8 piece combo to our cart. Nowadays $35 isn't too bad for a belly filling pizza like this one. It fed us for at least 3 or 4 meals. We'd order it again, but not all the time as it's pretty rich and quite an indulgence. The crust is just the right crispy and doesn't have the odd sweetness of their regular pizzas. read more

Moved to Vancouver er a few months ago and this place became my favorite pizza and my go to spot. Love the Detroit style pizza. Although I did have a bad experience. Brought my Detroit style pizza home and it had less than a tablespoon of sauce draped over the top of it. Disappointing since it normally has about 8 oz of sauce draped over it. It looks like they were running out of sauce and scraped the bottom of the barrel. You can see in the picture there was barely any on it. So it does look like they made an attempt and ran out but instead of saying something or refunding my money, I was allowed to walkout and find it all out when I got home. I tried calling 4 times that night and three times the next morning. Each time the phone was picked up with nobody on the other end and after few seconds it would hang up. I haven't been back since. As I was looking for a new place to get pizza tonight, I saw champs pop up and thought I'd share my thoughts. read more

I keep trying to like Champ Pizza, but there's just too many weird issues, and too many times where they just completely drop the ball. First of all, their online ordering and deals are weird. Sometimes you can't select the right item to use a deal online - like the mix n match deals. Also, sometimes you'll notice the price on the same mix n match varies a ton - $12 vs $17 running at the same time? They also just come up short on the items we order sometimes. I've had them give me the wrong pizza, or leave off toppings on something I ordered - and they didn't even let me know. I noticed when I got home... And while the jalapeño cheese sticks can be really good, sometimes they have been seemed really lacking cheese and jalapeños. Finally, they've been out of one of my favorite toppings for weeks and they keep saying it'll be in on X date... and then they still don't have it... and they tell me to wait longer... and the staff don't even seem to care or notice they're giving me the same run around over and over again. When I've given the staff feedback about my disappointment, they've been dismissive and unhelpful. Well, I'm taking the hint. I'll take my business elsewhere. If they don't care about my business, then I won't worry about it either. read more

Please for the love of god almighty find a Brie cheese supplier. I swear to all that is unholy I will find a huge wheel of Brie cheese and roll it through the door myself. I'll even bring a wheelbarrow full of raspberries so you can start offering the Raspberry & Brie Detroit deep dish pizza again. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night drenched in withdrawal sweat. With service as great as it is, and a nice clean & efficient restaurant to pick up from, why why why do you deny us of the delicacy we'd have not even known about. Sometimes you don't have the peanut butter and pickle pizza either and that makes me cry out loud in the night. Please, for the love of everything delicious, bring back the Brie & Raspberry. read more

We finally tried this pizza today! Called in our order for pick-up. Ordered a medium half Hawaiian, half Italian. The not so friendly guy said it would be 30 minutes. Since I called right when they opened, I figured he must have been busy getting everything set up for the day, so I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. We showed up 35 minutes later to pick up our pizza. The guy in the back making the pizzas was friendly and greeted me when I walked in, but the guy who retrieved my pizza from the warmer and took payment (receipt lists Gabe N as employee) was not. He sounded like the same guy who took my phone order. Minus one star for unfriendly service. Our pizza was nice and hot and delicious! Very good crust. The toppings were quality and just the right amount. However, I realized that once we got home, the toasted coconut was missing from the Hawaiian side of our pizza. What a bummer! I was so looking forward to trying that combo since I had never heard of it before. Minus one star for missing major ingredient we paid for but did not receive. Overall, it was just an okay first experience here. The pizza was really good, so we may give them another chance. Hopefully, next time, the service and quality control will be better. read more

First time ordering from here after getting a coupon in the mail. The ordering process was super easy and the set up in the store is very straight forward with cool chalk art on the walls. The best thing was probably the customer service. They were super busy on a Saturday night but the worker was super energetic and attentive. Ordered the meat lovers pizza via Uber Eats. First time ordering from Champs and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and flavor of their pizza. Note...it was around 9pm on a Wednesday night, delivery was FAST and the pizza was HOT! fast and was delivered The crust was excellent, toppings were generous, and flavorful. I ordered an extra large champ combo pizza ($26.99) for pick up. The pizza was ready within 20 mins and came out fresh and hot. It seems like a fancier Dominos and it costs a lot more too. The pizza was alright, the parmesan bread bites were okay, and the cheese bread needed more cheese. I only had the wings and combo pizza. How I wish they had one in LA. Hands down best pizza and wings I got. There aren't many pizza places around here that have the cupping pepperonis, but Champ Pizza has them! I'm a fan of their thin crust pizzas and I always order their triple pepperoni pizza. Their garlic chicken pizza is also pretty good. The pizza is thin, crispy, and pretty greasy. This time I ordered a large pepperoni because they had a deal for $12. Their pizzas are a bit on the pricey side. I also noticed that when I try to do an online order for thin crust at the mall location, it's not an option, but there is an option for it at the location off 162nd. read more

I ordered an ultimate pepperoni pizza on DoorDash having it delivered. When it got to my house. It was a cheese pizza with nothing else on it. When I called champs about it. The guy in the phone is really nice and said that he would gladly make another pizza for me and then I could come pick it up. Even though I was frustrated about the fact that I had to drive to go get the pizza now I chose to do that. On my way to pick up the pizza. I get another call from a gal named Abigail. Who was very condescending in caddy over the phone. She said that I had marked the wrong boxes in DoorDash and that I marked to have no pepperoni and no Parmesan cheese on my ultimate pepperoni pizza. I don't know about you guys. But I don't know anybody who would order an ultimate pepperoni pizza which cost a little extra by the way and ask to take the pepperonis off. Makes no sense in the world at all. This Gal continued to tell me that she could not remake the pizza because I checked the wrong boxes in DoorDash, which the DoorDash boxes are ambiguous and I thought that I was checking boxes to put pepperoni on my whole pizza not take it off. My mistake on that. However, the first guy, I talked to promised me a new pizza. She continued to tell me how I would not get a new pizza. She even called the district manager who then told me that I could have another pizza if I paid 50% for it. Even though I was promised another pizza for free because of the mixup. This company does not honor their word. They have a little integrity and no customer service skills at all. The pizza has been good in the past, but I will not choose to eat pizza from here ever again. Not a good experience at all. Someone also needs to train Abigail on some customer service skills. She is very condescending and not compassionate about her customers at all in my opinion. Thanks for reading my review. read more

After a frustrating experience with a doordash driver hijacking my pizza order I contacted the restaurant directly to try and resolve the issue. The pizza here is great as well and I highly recommend it. We've been customers of another local chain here and decided to try champs and I'm glad we did. Ugh...where do I start? I do not understand all of the five-star reviews based on my experience. I have no idea how anybody could honestly give Champ that high of a score. If this review was based on the service alone, I agree with the five-star reviews, for everything else, though??? I'll start with the good. As previously stated, the employees are extremely helpful, friendly, and competent. The reminded us not to forget to take our ice cream sandwiches that we ordered from the freezer when they handed us our pizza, which demonstrates their attention to detail. Here's the bad: Across the board, the food is TERRIBLE. Seriously bad...like "not even as good as Domino's" bad. The pizzas somehow manage to smell amazing, but have next to no flavor. The sauce is the blandest of bland. The mozzarella is noted as being whole milk, but it doesn't matter...it's flavorless. The chicken wings are baked, and have the distinct unpleasant flavor of having been cooked, then refrigerated for too long, then reheated. The skin is soggy and flaccid, too. This may be tolerable if the prices were as low as their quality, but they're not. The prices are high...stupidly high. It literally cost me over $100 for our dinner, and for pizza at THAT price, it had better be among the best, but it's not. Add to that a waiting area that is full of supplies and overstock, and you have a recipe for a very unpleasant experience. What Champ Pizza is the champ of is being the worst of the worst. I really just wish the food was on par with how good the employees are. read more

Okay specifically for the gluten-free First it's a 10 or 12 inch option, that's nice. But, 23$ for a 10 inch veggie pizza with extremely limited toppings is outrageous. I've had plenty of really great gf pizzas at half the cost. I just wanted some lunch. They put red sauce, cheese, spinach, mushrooms, red onion, green pepper & two toppings I don't get on my pizza tomato and olives. The crust isn't anything special & to be frank it was a pretty tasteless pizza, what saved it was the parm & red crushed pepper they offered as I was leaving. The guys working were really nice, & I wanted to like this place so much it's a convenient location for me to grab lunch while at work. Sadly even the chains like MOD or Round Table offer a better pizza with more topping options. I'm really not happy that my tiny pizza cost the same as all the others with meats. I mean if it was like the artisan pizza I had down south last month I'd feel better - and even that pizza was only 15$....... Can't recommend and can't say I'd ever have reason to pay that much again. read more
