Called in and ordered from Champ Pizza for delivery. One of them was supposed to be a 4x Pepperoni but arrived with hardly any cheese and no more pepperoni on it than a standard Domino's pepperoni. We paid extra for this privilege. They also stated that a normal pepperoni has 40 pepperoni on it when mine did not have 4x that amount. Called in to mention this and got the response that we got what we asked for. Either Champ has a SAD amount of toppings on their pizza or we got jacked. Ordered over the phone for delivery. First off they are polite and do a very good job at communicating over the phone. First time trying their pizza for us. We live close by and chose to have delivered since they are close by am I was feeling lazy. Orders the garlic chicken XL and the triple pepperoni XL along with garlic Parmesan bites. Pizza was piping hot! Both pies were very well done. Champs uses the perfect amount of toppings for their pizzas. I decided to try them since I received coupons in the mail. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza. And with the coupon, got a 1 topping large for free. The site was a bit confusing and difficult to order from. I had tried to add items to the cart, but was not successful. Eventually I figured out that I had to put something in the special instructions box. After doing this, my order was ready to pay. The pizzeria is a small store. But that didn't matter. The place smelled like what I remember living in The Bay Area and ordering from my favorite pizza place. Once I was home, I got a couple of pieces and sat down to enjoy what I was going to eat. We really do love the pizza (and a few of the other items that we've had) but the takeout service is hit or miss. On 12/26, it was MISS all the way. We ordered through Doordash and were quoted 90-100 minutes. We were fine with that because we knew it was a busy day. But when our Dasher got there at the right time, she still had to wait 45 minutes. The restaurant didn't care that they hadn't started our order, and told her there were 12 orders ahead of ours. In the end, it was nearly 3 hours after we ordered before we got our dinner. If you are slammed that bad, stop taking takeout orders. read more

We've ordered from champs many times, so this is a first. We were sold salad that was made on Friday and it is now sunday, they also forgot the cheese. It definitely looked old. They tore the sticker off of one salad but left the other on. They made up for it by bringing us 2 new salads made today and with cheese, but seriously though. A little disappointing for sure. 3 stars because this is a first from them, but for $48 dollars for ribs and salad I'd like it made fresh, not wilted. read more

Let me start out by saying I had a rough day. I decided to order pizza from Champs and did it online. I got confused by the app and tried to call the Champs near me to verify my order. I was on hold for a long time, so decided to drive up there since it was close. I walked in and I could see they were slammed. Well, my ego and attitude were already in gear and I was not very nice. They said my order was already being made and it would be a few more minutes, so I walked outside to wait. When I came back in the lovely young man at the counter asked my name and said my pizza was ready. He started to apologize and I interuppted him and said no it was me and I was sorry that I had a crappy attitude and they didn't deserve that. He was so polite. Got home had some really good pizza and saw that I missed a call. It was Champs Manager Ramsey and asked if I could call back at my convenience. He was so wonderful and nice to me and told me how they are like family there. They want everyone to have a good experience when they come in there. He reminded me that we never know what someone is going through and helping them smile is one of their goals.
