Champ pizza is good and the only delivery pizza I ever ordered. They used to use employees who rang my doorbell and handed me my pizza from the warming sack Now they use Doordash, who just put it on the porch and sent a text. Really hurt the brand to get that luke warm pizza, because I'll never order again. read more

Tried a Hawaiian pizza and I don't know what was worse the pizza or the service. The ham on the pizza tasted like the ham from Costco for Easter. Coconut on pizza. Not worth it. read more

I've ordered champs before via DoorDash but I believe it was from another location. It's been months since I had pizza. I was running errands in the area so I called ahead. I asked for cauli crust (extra fee) and to remove items on the combo. The guy I spoke to said they don't come on the pizza. My response, "oh ok. I was reading the menu before I called and it was listed so I just wanted to get them removed." We also added a dozen wings to the order. When I got home and we cracked open the food we were all kind of underwhelmed. The wings were swimming in Buffalo sauce. They didn't give us any ranch or blue cheese. Of the 2 toppings I asked to be removed, 1 were still on the pizza even though I was told it doesn't come with the pizza. The pizza was cold and hardly melted in some spots. I feel like just sprinkled some cheese on the top and put it on in the broiler. The dough was really dry and tasted old too. I can't explain it. I've had their cauli pizza (from another location) both thin crust and normal kinda and it was amazing. Not really sure what's going on but these kind of experiences make me want to stick to cooking meals at home. After tip it was around $50. No it's not overly expensive but it's pizza. As long as it's cooked, it's still pretty good. Pics look better than the food quality. Maybe I just need to stick to the other locations. read more

We wanted to check out a new pizza place and we have been getting ads in the mail for Champ, so we decided to give them a try. I placed the order online for a garlic chicken pizza, and a standard two topping with Canadian bacon and pineapple. The garlic chicken featured garlic sauce, which was great, along with chicken, red onions, green peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, and garlic. Everything about this pie was amazing! The standard Hawaiian, not to be confused with Champs Hawaiian, was also really good. I would recommend trying both types of sauces when you get a pizza. The ease of ordering online made for a great experience. The food was done super quick and was waiting when I arrived. The staff is friendly and the building seemed to be clean. Overall, I'd really recommend giving them a try instead of going with the large national chain down the street, named after a tile game. read more

Pizza is excellent and is on our rotation for take out. We cycle between Blind Onion, Prairie Tavern and Champs among others. Staff is a bit nonchalant on the Portland hipster style but don't let that scare you away!! A little hard to find behind the Union station across from Hapoy's car wash read more

Ordered the hawiian pizza. Wife picked it up and brought it home. When we went to eat it, you couldn't hardly find any ham. Lot of cheese, a little pineapple but very little ham. Not even enought to have a piece of ham on each slice even. One slice I ate and several in the photo have no ham. I don't mind paying more for a good pizza with plentiful topping but this wasn't it. The taste of the pizza in general was fine but very dissapointed in the amount of toppings. Don't go there very often but it will be even less now. read more

Ordered my pizzas online at 11 am for a 2 pm pickup ordered early as it was super-bowl Sunday when I got there at 2pm they said it would be done in 25 minutes. It was 3:00 pm . When I got my order. only two people were working on one of the business Pizza days of the year. I guess profits outweigh. customer service and satisfaction. Great pizza! Excellent deals & involved in our community! Best local choice for pizza and even have such yummy canolis!

Hands down the worst. I get it's Friday night, it's busy but to get $90 worth of pizza under cooked, almost cold, especially when we asked for it extra crispy is beyond disappointing. Tried to give them a chance but there's too many others pizza places around that will do a better job. read more

I recently ordered an XL Champ Combo from Champ Pizza and tried using gift cards, but neither their website nor app allowed me to, so I had to call in the order. I was helped quickly, and the pizza was delivered. However, the driver mistakenly said I still owed money, even though I had already paid over the phone with gift cards and a credit card. After verifying the payment on speakerphone, she thanked me and handed over the pizza. Unfortunately, we received a Meat Lovers pizza instead of our order. We decided to eat it since past experiences suggested getting a replacement would take time. About 15 minutes later, the driver called to acknowledge the mistake and brought us the correct pizza, letting us keep both. While we appreciated the extra pizza, we were no longer hungry by the time the right one arrived, so we ended up giving it away. Our frustration with Champ Pizza is that regardless of if we order through the website, the app or on the phone, there is always an issue with delivery. Great tasting pizza, if they deliver the right one and if it is timely. read more

I order delivery from time to time. The man on the phone kept telling me I sounded "muffled" though I could hear how noisy it was there. I talked louder and he accused me of yelling then said thanks for trying and hung up. I called back & the phone rang several times & a woman who said she was one of the shift managers answered. I told her what happened & she said she'd have a word with him about it. Then her computer had to reboot, then I gave her my credit card number & asked the driver knock on my door & hand the pizza to me rather than leave it on the ground as has happened in the past. When the driver arrived she handed me the pizza, I closed the door, she knocked again & tried to get me to pay her money. I told her I paid on the phone & I always check my credit card apps after placing orders & it did show up as pending. I don't use cash so no one's ever getting cash from me anyway. Note: Glad to see this place takes this serious and has reached out to me. These things do happen, it's really what's done about it that matters. Moving to two stars solely for communication. Pizza is fine the deals can sometimes be really good but oh my does the customer service need an overhaul. Was put on hold for 15 minutes, no body picked up until I called back. When I did call back the person on the phone had some attitude, they will ask you to bring proof of coupon vs not having some form of an internal system to check themselves. I know we can catch employees on bad days and sometimes weekends can be stressful but don't take that out on your paying customers. Last off I would also try to take 5 seconds to say welcome to anyone coming in so while they are waiting to pick up they feel acknowledged read more

Spent nearly $80 on pizza for my family, to walk into a complete mess to say the least. Know the staff does not care about your order, and does not double check anything. Lack of a proper system is impressive. You have the cashier basically reminding the cooks to not miss anything, and while I was waiting for my missing item to be made, I double checked and asked if I had all my sauces I ordered -- they said I did, and then put my ranch with my pizza in the warmer. When I got home I noticed I was missing the other sauces. Highly recommend in checking everything as you arrive, and before you leave, if you do decide wasting money on this location. I highly recommend going out of your way to the Vancouver Mall location, I never had any of these issues at that location. read more

The last several times we ordered the pizza wasn't as saucy as it used to be, even kinda dry, and we were left feeling like it wasn't worth the extra money compared to similar establishments. I wish this company all the best, we understand that sometimes things change with new employees etc, but whoever worked there when we first started knew what we meant when we wanted and paid for extra sauce. Still a solid spot. read more

Excited about what the pictures showed on the website. The pizzas were not good. Will not be coming back. Plus the use of coconut was not a good idea. The whole pizza tasted like coconut, and the bacon was not cooked. How many people saw it was uncooked before sending it out? Couldn't even eat it. The other ingredients also tasted weird. We both had just a couple of bites and it was so bad we threw the rest in the trash. read more

Darn it! I should have taken a picture of the pizza before we devoured it! Well, it looked great! We ordered the Italian pizza and I still have the taste of garlic in my mouth (maybe I should brush my teeth....hold on....okay, I'm back with fresh breath). They have a $30 special which includes a large specialty pizza, salad, and breadsticks. We actually chose the cinnamon breadsticks and the coupon accepted it so yay! I thought the pizza had a great flavor. Be warned, the garlic is actual garlic which will add a roasted falvor to it (I guess you'd call it that). I do think the pizza could have come with a tad more sauce. Next time I know to request that. I read in one of the reviews that they did not give much when it came to the toppings. This did not apply to us. We had plenty of toppings. The salad is not one of those sealed tight preordered but instead fresh vegetables. Yay! The problem is that it's a large salad (that's not the problem) and comes with a tiny little salad dressing (I think 2 oz). I wish they had sent more because we had to toss the other 1/2 of the salad since we didn't have enough dressing (nope, none here at the house). After ordering, we were given 75 minutes as when our pizza would be delivered. It only took 45 minutes so that was nice. Delivery is only $4.99 which was also nice. I will be trying out this place again and now know to ask for 2 dressings when ordering the salad. (BTW, this is located where Garlic Jim's used to be.) read more

I'd give Champ 3.5 stars. Came here late on a Wednesday because it was the only place around that was open after 9pm. No indoor seating, so we needed to get a pizza for takeout. The staff were friendly. We got a large 3 topping for about $28 - kinda pricey! It was ready in only about 5 minutes. Took it home and thought it was decent but I wasn't blown away. Glad we went but I don't know that I'll need to go back. read more

Three orders in a row super messed up. Two hours and ten minutes on the last order to get warm soda and cold pizza. On top of that, I ordered a pizza with pineapple, onion, and coconut, half chicken and half Canadian bacon. We ordered delivery from Champs. Tw GF 12" Cauliflower crusts. One BBQ Chicken and one veggie with the addition of Italian sausage. Delivery took over an hour during late lunch hour, but it was also a Saturday, so we weren't in a hurry. The online ordering process was great. You could do half and half plus remove or add items to each half, as needed, which was great because I don't do onions. When the pizzas arrived, they were hot and in good shape. The cauliflower crust was pretty good, but I've had better GF crusts. The toppings were fresh, but my husband and I both thought they were a bit stingy with them. I did see an option to add "extra" of a topping and even options to order 2 or 3 times the amount. I now know why these options exist. I didn't choose these options because I assumed there would be a decent baseline of toppings, but there wasn't. The problem here is that 2 12" pizzas were $32 with tip and skimpy toppings, so it would cost me more to create a better baseline pizza. Not sure if I'm ok with that. It could have been a fluke or a new employee, but it was ok. Not great. read more

This pizza is quite good. The first time we ate the pizza, it was absolutely amazing and the crust was fluffy. The second time it was good, but one issue with both pizzas was the crust was quite thinner on one side. This was disappointing and hopefully not a continuous problem. I would hate for this place to go out of business for such minor issues. I have always loved a slightly thicker crust, but when it is so thin that you cannot pick it up, it is a problem. I will mention this the next time I order a pizza and see if this happens again. Both the crust, sauce and toppings have great flavor. I will update this post when I order pizza again and include pictures. Update: Ordered a pepperoni pizza and requested the crust thickness to be even and it was great. This is exactly what we were looking for. 3rd update: Ordered 2 pizzas and one was decent, the other once again was so thin you couldn't pickup the pizza without everything falling off. The same pizza, the dough was raw and it was not good. I am so disappointed with Champ. I really want this to be amazing pizza, but it is just not working out. I am lowering my rating to 3 stars because of the low quality pizzas for high prices. So sorry Champ. read more

Really good! Wish there was one closer to me, but love the different varieties they offer and often have good deals.

The pizza here is great, but don't rely on delivery showing up with any reliability. We've ordered online numerous times and the window is 20 min to an hour and a half!! WTH? So last time we ordered, it apparently disappeared because when we called after said 1 1/2 hrs, the guy said "I dont know where it is. I made it and it's gone. what the hell does that mean? Good pizza, nice to have dairy free cheese options. We always get a veggie pizza from them and always tastes good, I would recommend.

Okay. We ordered not really expecting much. But: oommmgggggg. We had a coupon and were thinking: easy dinner of pizza? Let's do this. Well, we forgot to use our coupon ‍ and the total for two pizzas and a salad was $59... holy hell. But when it arrived... heaven. Just pure pizza heaven. They were cooked perfectly, they were sauced, topped and cheesed at amazing ratios! Nothing out shined anything else. And they clearly buy amazing products to make their pizzas with. Everything was fresh and amazing. We don't usually like meat pizzas, but our boys love it. So we got some. We happened to try and bite..: and that lead to me eating a piece of the meat pizza... and it was AMAZING! Actually, that's what I will be ordering everytime time. We highly recommend it!!! read more

We have gone here 2x now. It's close. It is a convenient to access location. It is better than chain stores like Domino's. But it is ridiculously expensive. For 2 pizzas and a tip it was north $75... For Pizza! It is good, but not 2 times more expensive better compared to others. The kids in the store are not impolite. But they are also not trained up on providing any let alone good customer service. We try to stay focused on buying local but not sure we will go again. read more

DO NOT PATRON THIS STORE! OMG Here we go again... I'm a forgiving type of lad however, there comes a point doesn't there? When is a business transaction just not worth it? I recently had a one star experience at champs [last week] and had the money refunded because of issues previously faced. Today I ordered and paid for lunch for myself and guests to be delivered... which came with more issues. The pizza store has caller ID so they KNOW who's calling. Once I reached a person to place my order, the woman asked me to confirm the associated phone number on our account. I gave them our household phone number, [separate mobile from my own] in order to access our order history, delivery address, and account delivery notes, including notes to access the inside of the building... While ordering on the phone, I was not asked to provide any additional access info, outside of what was already listed. I was only asked to confirm my address. I was, however, informed that I had a $10 off credit on my account for being such a great customer of theirs. I was told our pizza, cheese bread and pasta would be delivered here [confirmed address] within 40 minutes. I called after an hour and five minutes to check on things, [considering the mess that happened last time], and was pretty much verbally abused by Julia their manager. We've had dozens [lots] of deliveries from this one store over the years. Our neighbors that live in the same mid-rise patron the store too. You've got quite a collection of pizza drivers in and out of here, lol. I was told that my order was undeliverable because they couldn't get in the building. This is absolute rubbish. They mentioned sending a text message and making a phone call to the number on file, not the number that placed the order. OMG Julia, the proud manager seems a bit overstressed currently. Mistakes and issues faced don't seem to be handled well by this one. Romistakes really... While mentioning this being the second issue I've had with them within a seven day period of time, I was told by Julia, that she would no longer be excepting orders from our household. What?! OMG and my guests [hungry] had the privilege of hearing the entire convo... I agree, I won't be calling back to order anything from Champs. What an absolute mess! This pizza company tends to make big things out of small correctable issues. Not a fan anymore... sad. read more

This place deserves a -100 stars!!!! ... this is the first time I've been to this place and definitely the last time!!! The main reason why is because they DO NOT USE GLOVES!!!! She was putting all toppings on the pizza with no gloves!!!! WTF!!!! Waw!!! And after she used this disgusting cloth to wipe the wipe the counter and proceeded to put toppings on the next pizza WITHOUTwashing her hands!!! Not sure how this place is still in business!!! And where is the health and safety department!! This gets even better, just wait ... by the way, I am writing this review as i am waiting for my pizza ... also no chairs to wait for your pizza, i am standing for 15 minutes now ... after that she came to the cash register, was touching the front counter l, the cash register, paper for orders and went to flatten the Dough WITHOUT WASHiNG her hands ....I do not even see sink next to the prep station ... In conclusion, if you like to die after eating a pizza, this is the place to go!!! ----- Tyson, I can't believe this is your response as the owner of the business!!!! instead you should state that you will look into this and fix the issue, not support this unhealthy habits from your employees! The issue is not using gloves only!!! It's switching tasks WITHOUT washing hands!!! You know what that means?! Putting the pizza in 500 degree oven doesn't mean that you can do whatever you want with it before it's in The over!!! ... if this is the case, might as well tell your employees to throw the dough on the floor, and flatten with their feet since you think it's doesn't matter! I have been at every single major franchise pizza and this is NOT the way they prepare their pizzas!!! They have special equipment to avoid touching the pizza and actually USE GLOVES!!! You may want to go and order one and see how clean they are and how many times THEY WASH their hands between tasks!!! Good luck to you! read more
