Pizza was amazing! Service was horrific!!! 2 of us came in last night at 8:05. Ordered pizza and a salad, the guy who was helping us was pissed at our questions, we wrote it off as someone who was just having a bad day... but then, we told him we were eating it at the restaurant, That seemed to send him over the edge. He let us know they closed at 9pm we assured him we would be out of there by then, he was not happy with that answer, he went into the kitchen and started to bang on everything he touched. (Note: there were about 3 other parties of people sitting down and eating). After we sat he stomped over to us and let us know that the section that we were sitting in was closed ( no signs or anything in the area that would have told us not to sit there) and he would have to sweep around us. We asked if we should move and the response was "It's fine. Do whatever you want." At that point we got up and asked for it to go. Good pizza, horrible staff. The new location is pretty convenient and the menu is simple which makes it easy to choose from. I tried the pepperoni and Quarter #4 Quarter Pie. Each were much bigger than I expected and definitely enough for a meal for 1 (maybe more). Both pizzas have a thick, fluffy crust and toppings were on the saltier side. Ranch was creamy is balanced out the savoriness of the pizza. I did not choose the extra crispy option for the pepperoni and it was done fine. Any more crispy would probably hurt to eat. Price is pretty reasonable/cheap for a meal (about $9). I can totally see myself buying a 1/4 pie, taking it home, and sharing it someone with some sides, etc. We took out the food, so no comments on the service for restaurant dining! However, I love the sturdy packaging that helped keep the warmth and freshness of the pizza. read more

Very nice restaurant in downtown Vancouver. Service was great and not a long wait for food to arrive. We ordered the Radicchio Ceasar Salad, delicious! Ordered a nice Stout to go with my pepperoni pizza, a Cheese pizza for granddaughter, a Pepperoni Pickle pizza and an all meat. We ordered by the square, ample amount for one. I'm NOT a pizza person at all, but Ranch really does it better. We tried several options and they were all delicious. We tried the three little pigs, cheese zombie, hawaiian, and pepperoni. We got quarters of each vs a whole pie since we couldn't decide. All of them were delicious. The cheese zombie was more of a sandwich, it had thick cuts of bacon with cheese & a side of marinara. Their ranch is spectacular - hands down the best I've EVER had from anywhere. I would hands down get a gallon of it if I could. Service was quick. They do share a space with. Coffee shop. We've had their pizza at the Happy Valley location from time to time. Today we unfortunately ordered an entire pizza to eat a bit at OCB and the rest for dinner and lunch tomorrow. We could barely each finish a piece at OCB and ended up throwing the rest away when we got home. The sauce was so incredibly salty it was overwhelming. When the sauce is that salty and then has ingredients like pepperoni and olives on top it is inedible. Hated to waste the money of throwing it away but we knew we couldn't eat it. :( read more

What a nice surprise! We've been wanting to try this place, but hesitated based on some of the reviews we've read. A friend recommended it so we decided to try it. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a woman behind the counter. She was friendly and helpful. She answered questions, took our order and gave us a number. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. You also bus your own table. I don't mind these sort of establishments, especially for fast food type places. The inside is pretty cool. They have tall large windows in the seating area. There are booths and tables with chairs available for seating. They also have a coffee bar on the opposite end of the room from the pizza counter. The Detroit style pizza was super yummy! Crispy around the edges and airy pockets in the dough made it feel light to eat. We ordered a quarter cheese and a quarter pepperoni. Both were very good. Ingredients were fresh and pizza quarters had the perfect amount of toppings. Their homemade ranch dressing was sooooo good! It had some garlicky deliciousness. My husband and I both commented on how good it was, especially with the pizza. We will definitely be back to try their other menu items and flavors. Highly recommend! read more

We really enjoyed this spot! We stopped in this afternoon, it was gorgeous out so we decided to take our convertible for a spin and I have been wanting to try Ranch Pizza! There was hardly anyone there, so we were quick to order and went to sit outside. They have self serve water station and fork/knives and a selection of hot sauce which my husband appreciated! We got the special "3 little pig" which was Bacon, sausage and pepperoni. Comes with 2 sides of their house made ranch. The crust is similar to focaccia bread. Solid pizza place with affordable prices and fittingly yummy ranch. I loved their French onion pizza, however, their veggie pizza wasn't anything too special in my opinion. I look forward to their one rotating pizza flavor, as I wish their overall menu had more options. This pizza place is connected to a coffee shop. Across the street from a different coffee shop and on the opposite corner of the block from a coffee shop and down the street from a coffee shop. Perfect place for a pizza and coffee shop. That aside. It's gooood. You walk in and the interior is both retro with the color scheme of earth tone yellows from the 70s and retro futurism from the 80s nostalgia. The guy behind the counter could not have been nicer. I ordered two different quarters. Not really knowing how big they would be. The Honey I shrunk the Pickle and #4. Both to go. The crust is light and thick. The toppings were excellent. I will say that #4 was much spicier than I would have guessed but it was not unwelcome. The hot honey on the other was less spicy than I would have guessed. The real stand out was the side of ranch. This place is appropriately named. I didn't notice if they sell this by the jug. But it might be the finest ranch dressing I have ever had in my life. We had heard mixed reviews but couldn't wait to try Ranch Pizza. Upon arriving for dinner, it wasn't busy at all. Like other eating establishments, you walk up to the register to order. We are not fans of this as it doesn't give you enough time to peruse the menu, especially when there are others behind you. Our cashier was robotic, no welcome in, no smile, no energy and was not that willing to help with us first timers. The place is nice, no problem there, and there was plenty of seating for us. We ordered one pizza, a special, the French onion dupe, a 12x12 size and some bread sticks. Have to say that we did have sticker shock. Is a pizza this small really worth 30 bucks? Flavor was decent, crust was decent, but we were left underwhelmed and felt that it wasn't a good value, especially combined with the lackluster service. Perhaps the price of dining downtown nowadays? With so many great pizza options in Vancouver, it will make it difficult to think about a second visit. read more

Also, the employee who I ordered the pizza from said it would be 20 minutes, and he delivered the pizza exactly 20 minutes from when I ordered. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated. My husband and I decided to try Ranch Pizza in Vancouver last night and we had a great experience. We arrived about 4:00 pm to an empty restaurant and were welcomed by a friendly employee at the counter. We decided on the radicchio caesar salad and the #4 pizza. The caesar salad was excellent with a house made caesar dressing, pecorino romano cheese, lemon wedges and lots of breadcrumbs. The pizza had the most delectable crispy crust on the bottom yet was a thick pizza. The pizza had lots of crumbled italian sausage, a dollop of ricotta cheese, and spicy calabrian peppers which added some heat. The restaurant was cute, with a coffee shop on one side, and was super clean. The service was excellent and we were in and out within an hour. Great addition to Downtown Vancouver! We love Ranch. When we lived in Portland it was our go too pizza spot. When they opened in Vancouver we were thrilled because we moved across the river and hadn't had Ranch in a while. The Vancouver location is much different because of its size and seating availability, the Portland locations are tiny. The pizza is always great. Can't go wrong with their Hawaiian or pepperoni. From the cold and sterile restaurant interior to the cold and sterile lifeless non greeting as we entered the eatery , I can say it went downhill from there. $16 plus for 2 reheated slices of pizza where the cheese wasn't even reheated felt like the ultimate restaurant ripoff . We thought the slices would be huge they weren't! Just tipical size square grandma pizza. Qualify is ok but we were really turned off by the look we got from the girl at the counter upon entering the place. The number 4 is delish with the added spice from the sausage & the dollop of ricotta. The edges are delightfully crispy for those who enjoy a bit of crunchy texture to your crust! Their salads are good but you need to be okay with radicchio as the alternative to lettuce. This new location in Vancouver is more spacious & offers more parking alternatives than the original.
