Wow this place is amazing. Their pizza is delicious. I got the Joe Louis pan style pizza and the garlic chicken with regular crust. Both were delicious. She liked the garlic on the garlic chicken pizza. The total for both pizzas was like $45.00. Kind of expensive but good though. I will do sure come back. We ordered take out from Detroit Pizza. It was ready when they said it would be. We ordered the Detroit style pizza half cheese and half pepperoni, the honey bbq wings, and the cinnamon sugar sticks. The pizza is thick and bready. The tomato sauce is sweet. The tomato sauce is on top of the cheese so the sauce is the strongest flavor that you taste. The cinnamon sugar dessert is cooked pizza dough with cinnamon sugar on top and it comes with a cream cheese icing. The cream cheese frosting was creamy and rich. The honey bbq wings are baked. Waited for 40 minutes after my supposed pick up time, and was told by the manager that it was in the oven, but they never even made my pizza. This was after she checked on it personally 3 times. I will never go back to this place. Meanwhile they are telling everyone else 10 minutes. We ordered a tossed salad, wings, and an XL family sized deep dish "The Butcher" pizza. I love a good side salad with ranch. And the salad I just had with the olives, red onions, tomatoes, cheese, and green bell peppers was my idea of perfection, and the best salad I've had in so long. It was delicious. We just moved down the block from here and finally popped in to give it a whirl. They have a ton of options, I'd say at least 20 including a mac and cheese pizza. We tried the chicken bacon ranch and the cheese sticks. The price is the only thing that may surprise people - it's no Pizza Hut - it's definitely more expensive. Stopped by while on the way home during a road trip, figured pizza was a safe choice even if it wasn't the best. Man, I was not ready for HOW GOOD this pizza is!! I am thrilled. My husband got the Mac and cheese pizza and since I'm from the city I was scared it was gonna be a gimmick like many of the "too good to be true" things I've tried, but it truly lives up to the hype:) We will be making the drive out just for this restaurant and I look forward to trying many more flavors! Love this place Love hoe it's always open because everything else is closed on Sundays around bg I did order a bit of a wild card last time and I did not like it, it had feta cheese and a bunch of goodies on it but got soggy and the flavors were just not pairing well. I had a previous post giving this place a 5 star rating. Sadly, because of poor management, I give it a 1. I ordered my usual the Maui Delight with red sauce and wings. My hubby picked up the order. It came with the sickening sweet Polynesian Sauce. I called and reported it. They have us in their computer by our phone number and my husbands name so she could look up the order right away. Pretty sure they can see how long we have been going there too. She said she would issue a credit. I thanked her and that was that. Or so I thought. She actually called back and stated they were sending someone to our home, which is in Vancouver, to inspect and take pictures of the pizza in question. The first words out of my mouth were, are you insane? She explained, it was at her managers insistence. I said well she or he is insane and this is no way to treat customers or run a business and hung up! Pizza is pretty good, worth trying if you haven't had it. It's a little greasy but that's typical for the style. Be aware that whatever time your told add 15 minutes if it's not busy and 25 if they're busy as it's always longer. Wings are not good so don't bother.. cheesy bread is good. I usually give a rating depending on 2 things: 1.the service 2. The pizza 1. The service was SUPER GREAT. The staff was helpful and friendly, went over and above to help. There were enough people there, we got our pizza faster than they said it would be. 2. The pizza was good: loaded with toppings, delicious to eat, but hard to pick up a piece without the bottom crust caving in & topping falling. I wish i could give 3.5 but I can't. Let me start with that I did like the pizza and I'm not a big pizza fan but others in the group wanted it. The dough was good, which i appreciate and the ingredients stated fresh and the sauce was satisfying. Our pizza was cold though so that stinks. We called and placed the order, left to get it and drove back and it wasn't even warm. We also order Buffalo wings and I love wings, I have a thing for them. I was so sad that these were not tempature hot, lacking flavor and not crispy at all. I'm not a fan of chicken skin not being crisped and fatty. My friend didn't mind them so maybe it's just my opinion buttt feel more effort could of gone in for the price. The salads I would say are for 2 people not 3. Especially if someone's eating mainly salad. I wanted to like them as I'm not a pizza person and my friends raved so much about them but with the cold pizza, lack of wings and spending $75+ I was disappointed. read more

Husband is a born-&-raised Battle Ground resident, so he's definitely got an opinion about all of the long-standing restaurants, and his opinion of Detroit Pizza was strong & unfavorable. I've now lived here over 2 years, & never gotten to try the pizza from this little shop down the street from our home... Until this weekend. Let's just say, he's changed his opinion! We LOVED the pizza! Like SUPER loved it! We tried a small mac & cheese pizza & it was damned good, which coming from me is kinda big because I don't like a lot of cheese on my pizza. We also got a medium half & half for each of us. My half was the Roadster. My only criticism is that the mushrooms were a little lacking. The pepperoni slices were large & delicious. Love that they deliver for those nights when we don't want to have to bundle up & get our dinner. Can't wait to try a white sauce pizza next. read more
