Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Made reservations the day before and was able to get the time that was asked for with no problem. Started off with wine and an Italian soda which were both tasty. Got the stuffed mushroom appetizer, lasagna, Alfredo w/ italian sausage and the cheesecake for dessert. Everything was so delicious and nothing disappointed. I really loved the Alfredo sauce and appreciated the dollop of pesto that came with it. All the food tasted fresh and had fresh ingredients. Everyone is warm and kind, and you feel like you're coming to eat at a friend's house ... and the food was amazing. When we came, I had a tomato soup with a tiny grilled cheese sandwich as the starter. Then I had the chicken Parmesan over fettuccine. What an absolute "Gem" this place is! A friend of mine took me to this place for dinner Saturday February 3rd not far from where I live. The owner and his wife work together operating the restaurant. The food was fantastic (linguine and sausage as well as the chicken parmigiana)! We shared the Caesar salad and homemade carrot cake (it was to die far)! The ambiance was amazing! You felt as though you were dining with a bunch of your friends or family. The owner and his wife circled the room chatting with guests and hugging those they knew. Plus, they have Gluten Free pasta most of the time (call ahead to verify. Sometimes they sell out.) they also have a club you can join that gets you some discounts and access to special events. Loved the family atmosphere as you walked in, we were greeted and sat down immediately. We started off with the servers recommendation of wine which I must say blew me away since I am NOT a wine person. This experience has really changed my mind on wine as a whole. I really liked the idea that they did not have a standard menu set evening. After given their dishes of the night I decided on the shrimp linguine and my friend on the spicy spaghetti and a cup of soup. A couple recommended this place multiple times to me. Went with a friend Saturday night close to opening. Very pleasant staff and owner. I checked website prior to coming and only found desserts and appetizers. They do have entrees but was told they change throughout the week based on available ingredients. I ordered spaghetti with meatball sand sausage, my friend got a shrimp linguini with Alfredo sauce instead of house lemon cream, and a cannelloni. All three were good size portions and tasty. What a hidden gem in this town! It is only open for a few days each week but the food is spot on! We had a reservation and from the time we sat down we were served as if family. Everyone in the place was friendly and outgoing. We got the stuffed mushroom appetizer, then for dinner chicken parm, one with and one without spaghetti, and the linguine with shrimp; for dessert we got the macadamia nut cookie with ice cream and the cake with espresso whip on top. Everything smelled and tasted so good. I loved the freshness of it all. It was something I would not expect in Battleground but instead reminded me of a New York high end restaurant. What a wonderful local business to support! Mike and his wife are top notch! I threw a prom for my senior and her class because their class needed some great memories because of 2020! Well, I petitioned some local businesses for help. The Galeotti's stepped up and trusted me to borrow dinnerware to serve these kids a wonderful 5 course meal on! They also shared ideas with me on how to make the meal special. I will never forget this and neither will these 8 seniors! In fact, one of them wrote to me that "it was the best night of my life!" I gave it two stars instead of 1 because it had good food last year. If you want to go there now, do not expect the owner to wear a mask. Our favorite restaurant and we've been waiting to go there for months. We arrived and the owner greets us, seats us, and proceeds to tell us this is not a place to worry about wearing masks. Then bashes Inslee because he's taken away his live music. Two more couples come in with no masks (and his staff has their masks below their chins) and proceed to greet his guests with no mask on.
