Mushroom Soup with Grilled Cheese Panini
    Darbie E.

Amazing ambiance, service, & food. I'm not much of a wine drinker, so the owner brought over two sweet wines for me to try & I instantly loved one of them! We each had a different soup with small panini grilled cheese sandwiches. So good on a cold winter night!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Made reservations the day before and was able to get the time that was asked for with no problem. Started off with wine and an Italian soda which were both tasty. Got the stuffed mushroom appetizer, lasagna, Alfredo w/ italian sausage and the cheesecake for dessert. Everything was so delicious and nothing disappointed. I really loved the Alfredo sauce and appreciated the dollop of pesto that came with it. All the food tasted fresh and had fresh ingredients. Highly recommend this local family owned restaurant. Will definitely be going back! I prefer here over any chain Italian restaurant!

There's no signage on this storefront, so we feel like it's a little bit speakeasy-ish. Once you find a place though, all is well. Everyone is warm and kind, and you feel like you're coming to eat at a friend's house ... and the food was amazing. When we came, I had a tomato soup with a tiny grilled cheese sandwich as the starter. Then I had the chicken Parmesan over fettuccine. It was all amazing, but I couldn't finish and packed my chicken Parm for lunch the next day. Great wines and desserts as well.

Amazing food!! We got the lasagna and zuppa toscana, both really great! Started with warm bread and butter and we got the tapenade, so so good!

Galeotti's food is simply AMAZING!!!!! The atmosphere is very quaint with a warm and relaxing atmosphere! It's not too often you get incredible food AND incredible service!!! Every single time we've been here the owner, Mike, greets us with a warm and friendly smile, like we're family. He is an incredibly kind and generous man, that truly makes you feel at home in his restaurant. He likes to visit all his patrons while there eating there to make sure they're happy with everything, and just to chit chat for a little bit, which we always look forward to! Truly, all of Galeotti's staff are incredibly kind people who go out of there way to make you feel welcomed! They go above and beyond in every way possible and every single time we eat there! Just last night we went to Galeotti's with some friends that have never been before! They were so impressed with the food and friendly service. To top it off, they gave us a $100 gift card as a Valentine gift!!! Who does this?!?! Not any business I know!! They said they wanted to pick good people to give the card to, and they chose our table! WOW!!! We were absolutely blown away!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, MIKE & STAFF!!

Complimentary bread with herb butter, and we ordered Alfredo sauce for dipping.

The owners are first rate folks and go out of their way to make you welcome and feel like friends. I was part of a group that held an event here and it was our best event yet hands down. Great food, cold drinks, what more could you ask for. Their outdoor space is brand new and designed to feel very open. Plus they give a discount to those that ride there on 2 wheels!

We were really excited about their…read more"Free Dinner Friday" offer - purchase $20 in drinks (easy!) and get two free pasta dishes. We were promised Cacio e Pepe (my FAVE!), but that was no Cacio e Pepe. It was good. It was a perfectly fine alfredo sauce, but it wasn't what I was excited to have for dinner that night. I would have easily overlooked this, though, if we'd had a server who was hard to track down and the dinner didn't take 45 minutes to come out to us (and honestly, she didn't know what the free dinner offering was for the night). We did order an appetizer (the artichoke dip - and it was super yummy), so I get that our dinner was being timed to come out after that, but I think we waited quite a bit longer than 20 minutes *after* we were done with our appetizer to get our dinners. And we were the second table to arrive for dinner service, so it's not like we caught them during the dinner rush. It was kind of a bummer. This was my second time there. I recall not particularly loving my first experience when it was still the Rusty Grape. I might give it a third (and final) try, but I'm on the fence. We'll see.

Even going on a Monday night, it was packed with people, however, we were able to snag a table for two without a reservation right away. The service was attentive and helpful. I got the full portion of the smoked mushroom ravioli and I absolutely loved it. I appreciated that the portion was quite large because too often ordering ravioli means you barely get any pasta. The sauce was decadent, savory, smokey, and had a hint of sweetness, which pulled everything together.

Our server was friendly and quick. She answered questions and described the specials. They have gluten free focaccia!!!! It was super yummy, but it was also served kinda cold. Worth it. We ordered the fresh catch, which was halibut with some potatoes and grilled asparagus. The accompanying sauces were delicious. The asparagus was good. The white potatoes though had been cooked previously and weren't reheated enough. They were described as new potatoes but were definitely large chunks of russets. They were hard to eat. So we didn't. We also had the Punta di Fesa which is a braised beef dish with mushrooms on polenta. The balsamic mushrooms and polenta were so flavorful and delicious. It was a good thing that my husband started with this dish (we traded halfway through and had plenty to eat!) because I would have eaten his share of the polenta too. The beef however was dry and not what I would have expected from a braised beef. When we were given a knife, we were told we probably wouldn't need it. We did. The service here was friendly and helpful. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten free needs and recommended a great bottle of wine that went well with our fish AND the beef (which is tricky...yummy Chianti AND half price!). It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night at 7. There were people that ended up waiting but not too long. There are shelves of Italian goods all around you. My husband said he felt like he was eating in a store. You kind of are, but it was still cozy. I plan to come back to try the gluten free pasta and maybe a lunch sandwich if they have solid gf options there. Also, the dessert menu looked great. We were just full.

Our food was outstanding! We ordered a brie that had a fabulous fig sauce on top and then also we ordered a burger. That was absolutely incredible! The scallops are cute little guys and very tasty. All the skewers were delicious. I think next time I would skip the beef cheek poutine.
