We stopped on Mother's Day to grab a sweet treat since we were up in Vancouver. The store is so cute and they were so busy but they were so sweet and kept the line moving. We got 4 macarons to try. The flavor was really good on all of them. They are larger than a normal macaron so it was too much filing for my liking but that's just a personal preference. Stopped in for a sweet treat after having lunch nearby. Located in a strip mall off of 164th Ave in the Fishers Landing area of Vancouver. There is plenty of parking available. Walked in on a Sunday right after opening. There was a short line that moved pretty quickly. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The decor is super cute and very pink! I loved it! I ended up ordering four of their gorgeous macarons, including snickers, Dubai, tiramisu, and raspberry. They cost about $5 each, which seems expensive, but these are not your normal macarons. These are exquisite! They're so decadent. My husband thought so as well. Overall a wonderful first visit. We will definitely be back! Would highly recommend! read more

So cute and delicious. Stopped in for the first time, and will be back. Got a few things, the mango mousse and the raspberry mousse are both wonderful ($10.50 each), the shell takes some getting used to for me, as I'm not a hard-shell lady, but the presentation and the flavor is not too sweet and very fresh. For macarons, got the strawberry (last one left), a chocolate and one that I can't recall the name, but all great, and very big ($4.50 each). Nice to have this addition to the shopping center, and also looks like they offer some savory food as well. I will be back for that. read more

There's a lot to like about this cute macaron spot in Vancouver! The decor is very fun and vibey, service was great, and the flavors and cake design are definitely outstanding. We tried the tripe chocolate mousse cake, snickers macaron, and caramel cheesecake macaron. Unfortunately the mousse cake has so much gelatin that it's an unpleasant texture, but the flavor is there. The fact that the cake base is not sickly sweet compliments the flavor of the mousse. The macaron flavors and approach are definitely inventive. I think the ones we chose strayed a bit too away from a macaron and was a bit much, so I'd love to come back and try their other more straightforward flavors. All in all a great addition to the Vancouver area and I'm eager to see how it evolves over time! read more

Outstanding attention to detail on the design and taste of the macarons. I'm not a fan of macarons but my kids are so we came in for a special treat. I had the Dubai macaron and it was delicious. My son had the snicker and that was also yummy. We also tried a piece of cake to share and that was unfortunately disappointing. The flavor was not their but also the texture of the cake was so thick that is was difficult to chew. We ate maybe 1/2 the slice and tossed it. There was a short line and perhaps to hasten the wait, they can have both displays carry the same items so guests aren't having to look back and forth to see the difference. They also have coffee which I'd try next time we're there. Price is high, about $5+ per macaron but you can tell these are one of a kind. Indoor seating. read more

I've had macarons on cruise ships, in other countries before trying these and stayed away because its much too sweet but this owner has found the secret. The ambiance continues to improve. Originally wanted to go here on my bday, well mother nature had other plans & decided she was gonna snow. It's ok though because I made it in the next day, which so happened to Valentine's Day. The shop was super cute & decorated for the occasion. So many options from macarons, to chocolates, to strawberries & more. Made it extremely difficult for us to pick. Being that macaron was in their shop name, we went with that, the 12 piece box so we could try them all because why not. We drove 20 minutes just to try this place. We were also told we say a few dollars if we get the box. The dubai chocolate was the item that initially drew us in here in first place as it has recently been trending on social media. We didn't want to commit to a huge one, but luckily there were smaller sizes. So we got the heart shape one. Before eating, we decided to thaw it a little, so it wouldn't be hard from fridge. Wow, these macarons. More on the bougie side filling wise, not just your typical macaron. Yes, the pricing is a bit high, but once you try you will understand. We've tried 4 so far & they all have been good. But the big surprise of the day was the dubai chocolate. Wasn't really sure what to expect as all I knew about it was that there was pistachio in it. This was nothing like I ever tasted before. A very subtle pistachio flavor, crispy pastry type thing in it, with chocolate. For the size of this thing is was on higher side, but if you google dubai chocolate it's not cheap. Most likely for what's in those things. All that ran us about $80, but hey definitely worth the 20 minute drive. You gotta at least go try it. Everyone working there was so nice & helpful. We'll be back. read more

Went to Home Macaron Bakery to indulge my sweet tooth; fruity pastries, macarons, and cake in particular. I bought eight items, spending close to $100. Service and selection were good. Hours of operation: below average, but acceptable. The décor... some might find it cute. I found it tacky. Pinterest crafter meets Pepto-pink with a plethora of cheap looking sun-faded fake flowers. Why somewhat would do that, in a place with natural beauty all around, is beyond me, but never mind. On to the real reason we go to bakeries, the baked goods, was a letdown: 1. Don't leave cake slices out to dry. Frosting keeps cake moist, yet their slices sit exposed in the case until sold, turning the sides dry and the frosting crunchy. I bought two flavors, honey and coffee/chocolate (tiramisu?), and both were exactly that: dry edges, mediocre centers, grossly overpriced. 2. If you name your bakery after a dessert, serve the real thing. Macarons are delicate, bite-sized pastries with refined, subtle flavors. What this place calls macarons are oversized cookie sandwiches with multiple heavy fillings, dipped and rolled in extras. Way too sweet and nothing like a true macaron. 3. Flavors should taste as advertised. Pastries with passion fruit, mango, and raspberry, waste their great flavors. Instead they are all muted into generic sweetness. Another disappointment. In a couple of months, I'll go to this place one more time. But if the cake slices on their display case are still drying out like laundry on a clothesline, I'll head straight to Blue Door in downtown instead. read more

Unreal. I wish I would've taken a photo of the Dubai macaron I had but it was gone so fast - gulp. The flavor and consistency were perfect! Mind you, I've been to the original Macaron bakery in Paris, the Laduree and this little baby was wayyyy better. I was in heaven. You should go and experience this little dreamland. I have been to this small strip-mall bakery twice now. The first time was shortly after they opened. I wasn't sure which one to choose so the helpful employee behind the counter steered me toward the Dubai macaron. WOW! I'm sure glad she did! So very, very good. The macaron itself is as perfect--chewy and soft with the lovely softly crackled top. The pistachio and chocolate together are just amazing. I loved it so much I had to go back and get one for my daughter-in-law who just had a baby. She needed a little treat and this was the perfect one. She also loved the Dubai macaron. This time I got a tiramisu one for myself. It was also delicious but the Dubai macaron was still my favorite. These aren't inexpensive, but for a little treat, worth the price! read more

We tried this place for the first time. The honey cake was unfortunately very dry and definitely not something I'd recommend. We also tried the macarons. They were pretty large and very sweet, which might appeal to some people, but it was a bit too much for us. Lots of fun flavors to choose from. Service was okay, nothing outstanding, but the front area felt disorganized. When you walk in and there's a crowd, it's not clear where to line up or who to talk to, which makes the whole experience feel a little chaotic. The staff was polite. The ambiance is cute and has potential, but it could be more welcoming. A few small touches and better flow would make the space much more inviting. The best macarons in town! As a baker myself, I'm very picky with my desserts, especially French macarons as I find many are lacking flavor or proper texture. These are bursting with flavor, with a nice bite on the shell, chewy inside & other texture components based on flavor. The chocolates are also amazing! My absolute favorite being the caramel crunch. My family and I came in today to try these fruit pastries since my sister has been dying to try them. After we purchased 10 of them - which cost us over 100$ - we got home and were very excited to eat them until we actually tried them.
