There are many bakeries in the area but this is our favorite, very soft fresh pastries and bread.

Inconsistent pricing, too many non traditional varieties, 2 stars for above average quality and texture but limited to stock and imports.

I first came here when I went to Su Casa Marquez because the smell of pan dulce is intoxicating.

You can always call ahead to ask. But it's great to be able to pick up for a vegan and vegetarian friends. They are generally open on the weekends, as both owners work full-time during the week. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this tiny bakery. Every single thing is completely handmade from scratch. They take a great pride in everything they produce. Also, every month has a different theme. We've tried their delicious goodies from the cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and sweet, sticky buns to the cookies and hot cocoa balls. I can honestly say anything we have purchased has been delicious!! Laura makes amazing custom ordered cookies. They take her so long. I'm still amazed. She doesn't order more. Stacy creates custom order cakes. And I know they do customer requested catering; from grand openings to other special events and birthdays. Be aware there is no seating or eating in house here. It's definitely a pick up and go. There's plenty of parking and no steps getting in to the shop. You're truly cannot go wrong here. On Sundays when they have the cinnamon buns and sticky rolls, you definitely want to get there earlier! In my personal opinion, this is the best bakery in the Vancouver and Portland area.

All the cupcakes had great frosting and were decently moist. My only feedback is I wish the chocolate cupcake/frosting had a little chocolate flavor to it.

I had heard so much about this bakery, and have had a slice of their berry pie a couple of years…read moreago from a friend. So I decided to pop in because my husband loves carrot cake and I heard their was the best in town. And being the week before Easter I had high hopes. I was sadly disappointed. I walked in the a very sparce bakery case. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since it was Monday afternoon and they may have been still baking for the week. They had some cookies and brownies and about 6 very small carrot cake muffins.small meaning the size you would bake at home, not the larger bakery style. They did look pretty cute but was shocked at the price. I paid over $9 for two small cupcakes, I thought, these better be amazing. I took them home, my husband gave an 'eh, not the best carrot cake I have ever had' review. I had to try for myself. There was no spice or really any other flavor , just straight up carrot. It was moist and he loved the frosting but that was it. I love to support a small business and don't mind paying a bit more if the product is good. But that was not the case. I will wait and try again, but from talking to a friend who used to frequent this shop , she agrees that the are not what they used to be .

If you can't finish the croissants day of, make sure to retoast them in the toaster oven! It will still be buttery and flakey and delicious! I love getting their bon bons as gifts for others (too expensive to just get for myself ) and my favorite pastry is their snickers bar. Gosh, not much else to say because others have such a good job with their reviews. They're currently looking for a new location and I'm sad to see them leave their old spot on Williams.

It's clearly a popular spot, and from what I hear, getting there early is key if you want their famous croissants. Everything we ordered was amazing a rocky road cookie, a chocolate croissant, and the ham and cheese croissant. Even two days later, everything was still tasty. The flaky layers were especially impressive. I'm a big rocky road fan and had never tried it as a cookie before this one was a winner and tasted fresh, not processed at all. Definitely looking forward to visiting in person next time.

This beautiful ham & cheese croissant is so delicious. Better than the pastries I had in Paris tbh.
