Never make us disappointed. So far, everything we ordered are good. People are very friendly especially the girl at the register.

As far as fast-food adjacent teriyaki places go, I can say that this Ichi Teriyaki location is among my Top 2 preferred choices (right behind the absolutely exceptional Youskyme Teriyaki near Mill Plain and 205). Other Ichi's I have frequented have not upheld the standard of excellence that the 192nd location has established, in my experience. First and foremost, the free egg flour soup provided with any dine-in meal (pre-pandemic shutdown, of course) is the best I've had at any restaurant, anywhere. I don't know if this is because I haven't had it at enough places, but it is just SO. DAMN. GOOD. Honestly, the soup, almost as much as my favorite entree, is enough to keep bringing me back here! My go-to order is the Mongolian Beef, extra spicy, extra green onions...and what a fabulous order it is! Plenty of kick, robust spiciness and the sweet twinge of the onions is pure magic. I could do without the side salad that comes with most entrees, as I don't feel it adds anything to the experience, but hey, it's there. The interior decor is similar to your typical mall food court: plain wooden tables and chairs, black and white tile floors, and a smattering of potted plants and vaguely-Asian wall hangings. But you don't come here for the furniture, you come here for good food at decent prices. I've never had to wait more than 5-7 minutes for my order, even during peak times, so big points for being efficient, and the staff have always been welcoming and friendly. The menu prices are a little higher than you'll pay at similar establishments, but the quality just won't be the same. Don't short-change yourself.

    Beef Yakisoba with mushrooms.

I frequently enjoy the food here as it's been consistently excellent. Today I had the Beef Yakisoba with mushrooms only. The huge portions easily feed 2 people making this an excellent bargain for the cost. The Yakisoba, or "Fried Noodle", never disappoints. Covered in a sweet, tangy sticky teriyaki sauce with a shine and gloss. There is plenty of thinly sliced flank steak and deliciously sautéed quartered white mushrooms. It comes with a generous portion of perfectly cooked white rice that is perfect for sopping up any left over teriyaki deliciousness. While the menu is small, it's sure to please and leaves you feeling sated.

I believe the ownership has changed recently and the new owners are super kind and hard working. I highly recommend the yakisoba - they make it in a wok or something of that sort and it makes the flavors way better than any other yakisoba I've tried PLUS the portion is huge! Could definitely feed two ppl comfortably. The location is big and great for seating groups. My favorites so far are the short ribs (genuine Korean flavor- chargrilled and flavorful), yakisoba, original teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken. Definitely worth getting to go on any given day!

Came in for the first time today and ordered the T5 short ribs, what an amazing experience. The ribs were hands down the best short ribs I've ever had. The lady at the counter was incredibly welcoming and friendly and my food was prepared very quickly. Also the FREE SOUP is delicious. I think i found my new go to teriyaki spot.

Sweet and sour chicken, a huge portion for 7.90. And it tastes good too.

Good old teriyaki, this is not a high-end cuisine, but it satisfies in time of big hunger and does not break the bank. Portions are large. What set this place apart was the lettuce that came with the meal. It was SO FRESH AND CRISPY, like it was just purchased at the Farmer's Market and chopped to order. It was quite unexpected in a little chain place in a strip mall. To me that is a sign of a good restaurant that cares.

I think I prefer Joy teriyaki, but this one is no slouch either. Their version of spicy chicken is different as it has onions and peppers, etc. in it as well.

The Bulgogi DuKuhBee is known for their hand pulled noodles,…read morebut we also got to try a lot of other Korean staples like Bibimbap, Korean fried chicken, bulgogi, japchae, and more. We devoured everything and left no crumbs but the dishes I would likely gravitate back towards are the hand pulled noodles, wings, and actually the Mandoo! The hand pulled noodles were coated nicely with a spicy sauce and had a great chew to them. I loved the thickness of the noodles and added crunch from the cabbage and other veggies. Half sweet and half spicy for the wings was the way to go - each wing was doused in sauce and sesame seeds but still maintained its crunch. As someone that doesn't usually like wings, these were fantastic. Lastly, the Mandoo surprised me! It was the sauce that sealed the deal. It was like a thousand island, poppy seed kind of dressing that worked very well. I couldn't stop eating them. If you're looking for authentic Korean food, this is the place!

Great Atmosphere and Excellent Soft Tofu Stew…read more I visited Hansik for dinner on a recommendation from a colleague, and I'm glad I did! The restaurant is very accessible with plenty of parking around the building and a wheelchair-friendly entrance. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The interior is lovely--very clean and has a great vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. The Meal I ordered the Oyster Soft Tofu Stew, which came with a side of rice, a fresh egg, and a variety of banchan (side dishes). The Stew: It had a nice spicy kick, but cracking the raw egg into the boiling pot mellowed the heat perfectly. It was delicious and paired wonderfully with the rice. The Banchan: While the variety was nice, I found most of the side dishes to be a bit too salty for my personal taste, so I didn't finish them all. To-Go: I also ordered a Seafood Scallion Pancake to take home, and the staff was happy to package it up for me. Overall, it was a very pleasant solo dining experience with great service. I'd definitely return for the stew!

The new renovation definitely feels more elevated, and honestly Vancouver needs more spots like this where you can enjoy a nicer atmosphere without having to drive into Portland. Service was great, staff was professional, attentive, and overall gave off a good vibe. It actually felt like they enjoy working there, which makes a difference. I did read on their webpage that they aim to bring authentic Japanese and Korean food. Personally, wouldn't consider it fully authentic, especially if you've traveled to Japan or the mainland, you'll notice the difference. The food leans more toward American style Japanese/Korean cuisine. That being said, the food was still good and satisfying. Not authentic, but enjoyable. We would come back and are interested in trying more items on the menu. I'll update my review if anything changes.
