Ordered off of DoorDash here and I was actually surprised because the price is really low hence the one dollar sign but the food quality is actually quite high. Food: I got the yakisoba with chicken and I read the yelp reviews it said that the chicken here was great. They weren't lying because the chicken was actually quite flavorful and it tasted like any chicken that you get from a gourmet store actually. They actually also give a really good amount of food for the price that you pay and they also give you nice hoisin sauce containers. Service: The door Dash order was completed in about 20 minutes which is actually quite quick. This place is really casual and I would come here on like a lunch break probably in the future again. read more

I have previously reviewed this location and it used to be great. I am hoping we caught them on a bad night. We ordered food to be picked up. 2 Kung Pao chicken, 1 with vegetables and 1 without. 1 chicken teriyaki with no salad, 1 chicken teriyaki bowl and 1 chicken fried rice no vegetables. The total was $84, so I have to assume the prices online are incorrect. That is an average of around $17 per entree. The chicken teriyaki was good. The Kung Pao was burnt and inedible. The 1 with vegetables contained about a tablespoon of chicken. Also, 2 salads were included. I asked for no salad and if you wonder why I would complain about this, I grew up poor and cannot abide throwing food away. I literally panic at the thought. But no one in my family eats iceberg lettuce or much salad. I ended up eating one of them and I did like the salad dressing. The chicken fried rice wasn't spectacular but it wasn't bad either. The portion size was good on the fried rice as well. I am just a little disappointed at paying $84 when only 3 entrees were edible. read more

Downtown Vancouver isn't quite as exciting as its neighbor south of the river, but there's a few cool places here. One of them is Ichi Teriyaki, which offers a bunch of Korean inspired Teriyaki dishes. I pretty much always get the spicy pork, which is really tasty and just the right amount of spice, but the regular teriyaki is good too. The portions here are HUGE, you will definitely not go hungry, and there's a lot of veggies in most dishes. I usually get my food to-go, and orders are usually ready very quickly. As long as I keep coming to Vancouver for work, Ichi Teriyaki will be my go-to spot for yummy food! read more

Just a little storefront, but what a hidden gem!! The bowls are a GREAT value with all the meat and rice they give... leftovers all time except my first time there (ooof, lesson learned!). I've only had the regular chicken teriyaki bowl so far, but am looking forward to exploring more soon. Also, great attentive staff (Monica) who kept us and other guests engaged as we were waiting for our orders! If I could leave 0 stars I would . The service was terrible. That front counter lady was rude . They gave me the wrong food and I called in to get the right food. I drove back to the location to pick up the order and it still wasn't right I told her I'm not going to eat that food it's not correct and she said well I don't know what to tell you I just made food that is now gonna go to waste. Refused to give me a refund or further assist. read more

Easy choice for fast food asian cuisine. I used to be a regular customer of the one in Seattle and since moving to Vancouver, nothing has changed. Good service and food, what else can you ask for. Those with a spicy pallet will be pleased with their level of spice upon request. read more

I went to this one because it's closer to my house. I normally go the the Hazel Dell one. I ordered the chicken teriyaki but wanted to substitute noodles instead of rice. She said I can't do that. Then I told her she can charge me extra. She said she still can't and to do the yakisoba plate. I told her the Hazel Dell one we're always able to substitute the rice for the reg noodles. She said that she can't because they are a different franchise. So I just left and told her I'm going the the one in Hazel dell. I mean come on. You really can't substitute rice for noodles not even an extra charge. ??? Never going there again. I recommend everyone else to go to the Hazel Dell one. They always have customers and the people are much friendlier!! read more

Ewww, maybe I just arrived too late, but the beef teriyaki was not slices of steak at all, it was a heaping helping of over cooked, shriveled up, dried, curls of tough meat, covered by sickly sweet and salty and otherwise unremarkable teriyaki sauce. The accompanying "salad" consisted of a few large chunks of iceberg lettuce with a faint and near tasteless dressing. However, the scoop of rice was nice. It helped clear the palette before walking away from this $10 disaster. I'm not panning the restaurant; that wouldn't be fair. I'm not a New York Times restaurant critic, and I've not sampled their other dishes and maybe the cook just had a bad day. It happens. So I'm glad other Yelp reviews were positive. The hostess was truly helpful and kind so an extra star for service. I would be curious of others had a similar beef teriyaki experience. And despite the posted Yelp information, there is outdoor seating. read more

In from out of town and got this as take out. Had spicy chicken yaki and kungpao it was great. I was expecting it to be sub par but it was amazing. Amazing dressing for salad too. Kung pao was amazingly marinated and seasoned and spicy chicken was nice and spicy with teriyaki sauce on the side. Prefevtion thank you!! read more

Yum! I loved my chicken breast teriyaki bowl with veggies. Teriyaki sauce was not good but i like my sauce not super sweet. Veggies were awesome. Dining companion loved the Mongolian beef and fried rice. Two drinks later the bill came to $31! Kinda pricey so 4 stars not 5. Not a fast food place but not a restaurant. Free egg drop soup self served if you eat in. Excellent customer service, nice Asian people. Easy parking and id go back to try other things on the menu. read more

I wandered in here one day for take out and now I go 2-3 times a week for lunch. The staff is super friendly and the food is very good. It is always a pleasant experience. I suggest the mongolian beef, the chicken/beef terriyaki combo and their pot stickers. At one point I think there was a 3 sauce chicken special that was amazing as well but I haven't seen it for awhile. Good service, good food, and fast kitchen. read more

As far as stability goes this restaurant perfect. I always know what I'm going to get and I always know it will be the same as the last time I ordered it (portions, seasoning, cooked, etc.). I'm a simple man and that means when I go to a teriyaki restaurant I get teriyaki and this is my place that never fails me. Staff is nice enough and the place seems to stay pretty clean. read more

I used to love this place and would frequently have lunch there with coworkers. Something has changed in the last few months and I don't think I will be going back. Maybe new owners? New management? My last two visits have been pretty disappointing. The soup I used to enjoy is now a thick gross stew. Ever heard of egg drop stew? Didn't think so. I ordered a side of egg rolls today and one of the two was burnt to a crisp. How can you serve two egg roles where one appears normal and the other looks like it spent the entire morning in the fryer? Lastly, the fountain drink machine is a train wreck. Today the ice machine was broken and the Diet Coke was flat. It is a shame because I used to love this little downtown place. read more

There should be the option of Negative stars, cause this one would have NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!! The new ownership has sunk the ship. The food is not good anymore. Tired of soggy noodles and chewing on dry burnt chicken :( The people running the cash register have ZERO customer service skills and need to learn how to smile, connect with customers, and most of all just be nice! I have tried and tried going back but today's crappy food is all I can take! Very sad cause this used to be a great place, great food and used to have very friendly people...NOT ANYMORE! read more

This is a awesome teriyaki place in downtown. The portions are great and always fresh. I love strolling and popping in here for a quick meal. Would recommend to anyone. I had the teriyaki chicken with fried rice. I've walked by this place numerous times going from where we always park and the farmers market and I've been wanting to try them ever since I noticed the picture of their fried rice in the window. I grew up in Okinawa and we had a maid that made the best fried rice in the world. Haven't had anything close until today. Eggs, carrots, peas, beans......lots of goodies giving it great flavor. Really enjoyed it. Dropped one star because, although very good, I thought the teriyaki chicken was a little salty and the lady server went into the bathroom long enough to wash her hands or use the toilet - not both. Update: Stopped in yesterday for a to go order of ham fried rice. While we waited for our order several people eating there brought their food back because it wasn't what they ordered. When we got home we realized our order was wrong too (beef fried rice). Wasn't as good as the previous time I ate here - no egg and less veggies. read more

2nd time here. LOVE IT! The food is so good and affordable and massive servings. The Teriyaki Beef or combo chic order is huge and delicious. Plus you get free egg drop soup with any order and it's delicious as well. Comes with rice or grilled veggies or a side salad. The ranch is awesome. Def becoming one of my favorite spots. Can never eat it all. Simply great food and a great price. read more

The space is small, with four seats at the bar, two floating seats, and two standing only spots. It's an intimate space with lots of Japanese figurines and memorabilia. Behind the bar sits a small TV where the bartender plays physical media (can you believe it!?) -- DVDs and Blue Rays of Japanese films. This is probably our favorite thing we've done in Astoria! It's one of those small restaurants that has such a good environment on the inside despite how it looks from the outside. My experience going in was also great with the service being so kind. Unfortunately when I went in, a very rude man picking up a DoorDash order had caused a sort of scene by yelling and raising his voice at the employees because doordash had made a mistake on their order. We felt super bad because it takes someone pretty heartless to yell at the people working there so a lot of compassion grew in my eyes as they kept on making peoples orders after that encounter happened. Overall it was such good food and with the nicest people working there, I had to write this review sharing my experience.

I've been trying sushi within the area and this is my favorite restaurant so far. As soon as we stepped in around 4pm on a Saturday, we were greeted and seated right away. We only ordered sushi, but they have many other options for those not a fan of sushi. Honestly, I'm use to waiting for sushi to be made when a restaurant has multiple types of food on the menu, but we got our sushi made around 5 minutes. And everything was so fresh!! Amazed by the time and super happy with the food lol The service is great. Each person that stopped by our table were super nice and efficient. I would say we got seated, ordered, received our food, ate and checked out under 25 minutes. My partner and I love dining in restaurants, but we also love when we can be in and out. This isn't very common in non-conveyor belt restaurants. The restaurant itself is Japanese themed and feels authentic. It's a smaller restaurant but they have a covered patio to seat more guests. Overall, I was super impressed and can see why their ratings are so high. I hope to be back soon.
