Not all Ichi's are created equal, and this one is one of the gems. The food is always fresh, the staff is great and the restaurant is impeccably clean. And it has been consistent like this for our 7+ years here. We love this Ichi and you probably will too! read more

We've been here a few times for lunch and dinner. We have sat here and eaten as many times as we have picked up food to go either way it's a good option. There's plenty of seating. The food is reliable in the sense that it is always good. there was always plenty of meat and veg. You definitely get your moneys worse. You will have leftovers definitely. The teriyaki is a wonderful mix not too sweet not too savory just right the rice is perfect and the meat is always tender. We love eating here. It's a wonderful warm dish for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend the staff is always very pleasant and they are very fast with their orders. It's kind of awesome. read more

Best Ichi around. The food is always amazing and fresh! Great portion sizes. Sadly, they are only open Monday through Friday.

Great food and service! Free egg drop soup with dine in is tasty! High quality food and packaging. We usually get the teriyaki chicken and rice plate, which comes with a green salad and is generously portioned. We've tried a number of their appetizers, including the shrimps and the gyoza. All very yummy with the included sauces. Value for your hard earned money! read more

Always so good and your portions for what you pay for are awesome! I've tried other Ichi restaurants and I don't know what it is about this one that the flavors of the food is soo much better than any other place! Have never been disappointed with what I've ever ordered from here. Service is great the orders are always done right. read more

Ichi is always a go to for me if I have time. Very consistent teriyaki chicken and the salad and soup never disappoint.

Hidden gem in Washougal! Enjoyed their Chicken Yakisoba for dinner. It includes a side of steamed rice along with some vegetables which were cooked perfectly. The staff always gives you extra teriyaki sauce with orders to add if you'd like. Found it to be full of flavour and not greasy. For only $7.99, you get a LOT of food! I've also tried their Gyozas and Chicken Katsu which are also wonderful. Parking is available on site as well. Will be returning! read more

We love itchy, 26! We just wish they were open on the weekends and not just during the week! We love the freshness of their food. The egg rolls are Krispy and the outer shell is thin. The fried rice is the best I've ever had! And the teriyaki chicken is to die for! We highly recommend Ichi. They're always fast and friendly. And the free egg flour soup is a nice treat while you're waiting for your food. read more

**update** So it's been two years and I still eat here often but recently I've gotten my meal and had it be completely horrible. It's happened more than once where the chicken in the General Taos is super soggy (like how when you put your leftovers in the fridge and warm it up the next day soggy) and SO SO SO spicy it burns your mouth and I like spicy food. I'm not sure what is going on. The chicken teriyaki is still solid but the other dishes can be a miss. It's been twice now that I've gotten it to go and had to toss it out. read more

While traveling through Washington, we stopped by this place to grab a meal. We were pleasantly surprised by the large portion of food for the price. I got the beef and chicken combo plate and it was excellent. Service was good and the food came out pretty quickly. The restaurant was also very clean. I would definitely come here again! read more

How does this place have good reviews??? I feel like I would have been better off throwing my money out the car window on the way there and saved myself the trouble. Gyoza was overcooked and hard. Beef teriyaki hardly had any beef! At least 75% veggies. And the beef was so tough we could barely chew it. The General Taos chicken was even worse! I have little doubt it was prepared in a microwave. It was soggy and strange. Almost no flavor. And it had corn, carrots, and peas! I've never had it with those from anywhere else. Awful, awful, awful. Time to go figure out what we're actually going to do for dinner tonight... read more

Got the chicken katsu for lunch. So good! Very clean and nice and the chicken was crunchy and delicious. The salad was crisp, and the dressing was good which is rare for me. The rice was fluffy and the sauces were good too. I'll def be back read more

Ended up let disappointed with my first meal. I recently moved to the area and was excited to try out this local teriyaki restaurant. My usual expectations of a teriyaki place is they load you up with rice, a lame-o salad, and your teriyaki. So my go to order is basically "chicken teriyaki, no salad, just rice". For my visit I got spicy chicken teriyaki and an order of gyoza. As mentioned in some other reviews, the gyoza was overcooked and pretty crunchy, but I guess that's better than undercooked and soggy. The thing that was different about this teriyaki is that they include a bunch of peppers, onions and other veggies within the mixture of teriyaki. I'm not a big veggie person so this caught me off guard. The spiciness caught me off guard, I think I got the seeds of a pepper or something because halfway into the meal I wasn't interested in finishing after that. I'm sure this is good for a lot of people, but I was looking for basically rice and chicken and was disappointed with the meal overall. read more

Amazing amount of cooked to order good food for $14.99. Compare that to what $15.00 gets you at any fast food Choke & Pukes these days. Glad I took a chance on something new for lunch. read more

Love this place! We drive in on Mondays for the Mongolian Chicken special (it's pretty spicy, but you can ask for "mild spicy" which is perfect). It's enough food for two people. The pork teriyaki bowl is another favorite. read more

The hours are wrong. They close at 8:00pm every night. But the food is good when you can get it.

This is one of those places that once you try, you wonder what took you so long. Quality food made in an impeccably clean restaurant. What's not to like. They have never messed up my order and my food is always consistently good and hot upon pick up. Grateful to have a choice like this in Washougal on those nights where I just don't want to cook. read more

My husband and I get take out a lot here. Compared to some other Ichi's across town, this one is better in our opinion. I often order the veggie deluxe and add chicken because I love the veggies. The chicken is always perfectly cooked! My husband gets the gyoza and beef combo plate a lot and always likes it. This place is great for us when we don't feel like cooking or get home late during the week! read more

I ordered a basic chicken teriyaki and rice meal for myself and my daughter. It came with a side salad which wasn't anything special, but the teriyaki was good and it was a large portion. The employee that helped me was friendly and the service was fast. read more

Best Pork fried rice ever. Spicy chicken breast is amazing. Food is good. People are friendly.

Yum, we are very happy with Ichi 26. We've been here two times and both times left very satisfited. Their egg flower soup is free if you dine in, and it's very tasty. I'm already planning ahead to send my husband here to get some of this soup to go whenever I feel sick (or vice versa). I've had their sticky peanut chicken. It was good. I would have preferred some better veggies on the side rather than the ultra basic salad provided. The second visit I ordered a chicken teryaki bowl which had more veggies and was a lot more satisfying. My husband really likes their hot and spicy beef. Plenty of food. We always eat half and take the other half home. read more

This place is so pleasant. I come regularly when my day work takes to Washougal, it's my favorite place to stop at. The people are just so pleasant, and they've never messed up my order, and even if they did I know because of how they are they would do the right thing in fixing it. Very consistent restaurant, this Ichi stands out from the others I've been too. That's always appreciated! read more

Free egg drop soup if you dine in! I had the chicken teriyaki bowl and dining companions had the beef. Large portions, fresh ingredients make me a happy camper. Will frequent this place often, anytime I'm in the neighborhood this is where I'll eat. Easy parking in a strip mall read more

I have driven past this place all the time wanting to try it to see if it was a good teriyaki place or not. So yesterday I finally stopped and I'm glad I did the service there was great the food was delicious even the veggies were great they steamed them and gave me a special sauce that I absolutely loved. It was like a sweet and sour house sauce. I loved there chicken but there beef and pork are great all actuality the pork was the best to die for bomb diggity LOL some of the best pork I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back and it's not just because I live right behind it LOL prices are okay too I guess kind of high but the food is definitely worth it. read more

I am bitterly disappointed. I live up the street and really wanted to live his place with the typical mom and pop neighborhood Asian serving healthy teriyaki and other Asian basics. The first problem was the menu, where nearly everything is served with salad and rice, so there are little choices for skipping a component or substituting. The second problem is the salad itself. Calling lettuce a salad is misrepresentation, even other were two or three star ands of shaved carrot and something purple! The hot and spicy chicken was delicious, but beginning a low carb diet, I tried to substitute veggies instead. I was charged extra for a bed of bland cabbage. But the spicy chicken was good. The place was clean. The sole server ran her butt off. I will be back, reluctantly, when I'm too tired to hit the Main Street joints. read more

I've been going here for at least 5 years. Are they 100% perfect? No. No one is. No restaurant is. I enjoy their food in quality and quantity. If I get a dinner, I know I have enough for lunch the next day. The people are nice and they are still doing only takeout due to Covid. In fact, we are picking up some tonight on the way home from Kung Fu class! read more

The Washougal chicken is absolutely to die for! I can go here and split one plate with my boyfriend and be super full! Love it!

Love this place. As one of the few places in Washougal to order food, I am so thankful they have such great food. We typically order to go and get the spicy chicken, spicy beef, gyoza, and pork fried rice. On occasion we will also get the ribs. The food has always been very well prepared and just the right amount of spice. When we call in our order it takes about 10 minutes until we can pick it up. I love how quick they are. Went for dinner yesterday, it's order at the counter and they bring your food. I ordered the tofu yakisoba and my husband ordered a gyoza combination with steamed veggies and rice. The lady at the counter was very fast and friendly. They offer free soup or dinning in. We sat and my husbands food come out first, about 7 min before mine, I tried his veggies and they where Luke warm in the middle and cold on the outside. His gyroza looked slightly burnt too. When my food came it was ok. Not the best teriyaki restaurant I have ever been to. The food is just ok. Everything is slightly over sauced and over cooked or cold- like the veggies. The restaurant was very clean though and the service was top notch. Over all 3 stars. read more
