Came in on a quiet evening after the gym. I was impressed with how quickly my food was out to me. They have egg drop soup for free. So I dished myself up. I could barely get into my first bites of the soup before my teriyaki was brought out to me. The bad. I did have a few bites of grizzle that I chewed on and it was a little light on the teriyaki sauce. Besides that, chicken was on point. Char pieces and good cuts of meat presented. The egg rolls were pretty standard to most places but the sauce seemed a little watered down. Egg drop soup was also on point. Done well and tasted great considering it was in a warming tub probably prepared earlier in the day. The salad was fresh and the dressing was spot on to the typical mayo based recipe out there. Delish! Establishment seemed clean and the prices were fair in my opinion. Chicken teriyaki with salad, egg rolls and a soda ran me 23 bucks. Plus I got the free soup. I'll definitely be returning as I come down regularly for work. Hope to not get anymore grisly pieces as that would be a real disappointment. Not typical from my teriyaki experiences in the past. First time checkout KC Teriyaki in Vancouver. Nice clean front establishment. So many options to try. I ordered the Teriyaki Bowl. It was plentiful of Chicken,rice, veggies and Cabbage. I also ordered a side of Gyzoa (aka pot stickers) you get 8 pieces. They were delicious, had slight crunch to the paper. Not so sure they were supposed to be crunchy. But flavor was good. I also ordered for my husband, the Combination Plate of Chicken and General Tao. The plate had plenty of rice and chicken. It also came with a Ginger Salad. Overall, flavors were delicious. The owners act like they own the front parking spots. There are many paying patrons that go to this strip mall that could use these spots. KC Teriyaki is one of my favorite restaurants in Vancouver, never disappointed with their excellent food.

The take-out spicy chicken bento was crispy from over cooking, I poured off a cup of grease, the vegetables were so over cooked the were mush and brown. Flavor of chicken was slightly rancid. Maybe that is why they cooked it so hard? Not going back. read more

This food is really good and fresh. I've become skeptical having moved to the PNW when "spicy" is listed (it's usually not at all spicy) but I love their hot and spicy chicken breast. The staff is incredibly friendly, service is prompt and the food portions are quite large, enough to get two meals out of. The prices are very fair for what is provided and having been here four times the past three weeks, the food is consistent. A winner! My problem? This teriyaki spot is the best in town. The portion size is insane for the price and beats all of the other places. Taste is always great. She will let you make any customization for a small charge. On a scale of one to yum I would definitely say yum. A classic teriyaki chicken joint- they have their "staple" menu items and the complimentary egg flour soup before the meal (which I always enjoy), in a convenient location. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki -boy was that the truth! My eyes watered and my nose was runny. It was very good but you better believe I was chugging down water with every bite. The chicken had good flavor, not a lot of fat on it (which I appreciated) and they have extremely large portions-I took half my meal home and ate it later. Two large scoops of rice (you can opt for brown rice), and a side salad (too much dressing so next time I'll ask for less). I also noticed you can get your meat, rice and veggies in a smaller bowl if that's your preference. The staff were friendly and thanked us for our business. I'm glad I tried it! It's close to where I live and shop (near a target which is extremely convenient) -but next time I'll get the regular teriyaki vs spicy. read more

The spicy chicken and the teriyaki chicken plates are the choices that I normally lean towards. 1. The Platter - With any choice you get a cup of soup that you can enjoy while your food is cooking.
