    Large scallops!

Needed some comfort food after turning in my Mom's apt keys nearby (RIP Mom) & a local area query pulled up this restaurant. Upon approach, saw an almost full parking lot, which I knew to be a good sign. Was pleasantly greeted upon entrance- another good situation! The menu offered a good variety of choices: I decided upon #86 & not only was it filling, but delicious with my favorite varieties of seafood, pineapple, veggies & curry! The service provided was good throughout my meal- very attentive yet not overly so. I would definitely return if in the area again. Highly recommended!

Food here is always fresh, flavorful and delicious! The layers of sweet, spice, sour and sweet are a party in your mouth! My favorite is Pad Kee Mao, which is Drunken Noodles on their menu. It's my go to dish when I'm craving Thai because I love the wide rice noodles and flavor components. Their version is light on the heat so I ask for chili oil and add heat to please my palette. They are also light on the protein so I ask for extra chicken for $3 more. One order is then enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Big open space with plenty of booths and tables. They have a full bar. Service is friendly. They also do a lot of takeout. Have their own parking lot making it super convenient. I'm always going from Portland to Hood River and back, and Thai Carnation is often where I stop for dinner to eat there or takeout to enjoy at home.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm because we were hungry and it had been awhile since we has Thai food. We had excellent friendly service and our orders can quickly. The spring rolls were great as an appetizer. I had their signature peanut lovers noodles with chicken and my lovely date has chicken drunken noodles. Big portions and after we had our fill we had plenty of leftovers to take home. Highly recommended.

We came to this restaurant because we happened to be at a grocery store nearby on our Portland vacation. The ambience was nice. We arrived right as the restaurant opened for lunch. We had pumpkin for appetizer, which was good. The service from the staff was great. The pad Thai and cashew tofu we had was some of the best we've ever tried. I highly recommend coming here if in the area.

Tasty food, hearty portions, very friendly staff! A great place to get Thai food in Gresham!

This is the Pad See Ew with Shrimp no 58. Pad See Ew

I always get Pad See Ew usually Beef and no egg. And they give a lot of sliced beef meat. And I would give a 5 rating. But this time I decided to get ship to see how many I would get and how much I would be charged. I got the order to go and I was charged $18.00 for a lunch price of Pad See Ew with Shrimp and no Egg. So I was expecting a lot of shrimp. I only got 5 pieces of shrimp!! For $18 that's Ridiculous I won't ever order with Shrimp again!!

They put so much care into everything. Listen- always get the salad here. They're always delicious and contain surprises. This time we got marinated rhubarb, which is in season, and which I'm excited to make and put in my own spring salads at home. Also, edible flowers, and while we ate lunch, we saw a worker picking them from the little garden. The sandwich was a shrimp roll, which was great, maybe with homemade bread? It was perfect. The sandwich was zesty, with a remoulade and little pickled jalapeños. And what were those crunchy things on top? Crushed barbecue potato chips! A delightful detail most restaurants wouldn't bother with. And the soft serve sundaes, which are also full of artistry and interesting textures! You have to get one. One of said counters is a mini Le Petit Cafe. I ordered a marionberry macaron, and, wow. It's a serious contender for a new favorite. The cookie was crisp, light, and a bit airy. The dust on the shell was sour, while the creme filling was sweet. This gave eating it a similar experience to eating a freshly picked blackberry. Certainly one of the most creative macarons I've ever tried. It was a whole experience. I guess it was my lucky day, because as I was ordering, the Barista asked me if I wanted a complimentary coffee drink that had been made by accident. I don't even remember what it was called, but it was amazing. I think it was some kind of vanilla latte. I came back on a second occasion and ordered a 12 ounce caramel latte with a pistachio macaron. I loved the latte, but this time, the macaron was bad. It was so stale that I considered asking for a different flavor. Overall I loved the coffee but found everything to be a little high priced based on the quality. I would still stop by here for a coffee in the future because Troutdale Station has free wifi for customers, and this is the best coffee spot there that I know of.

The Highlights * The Saltwater Outdoor Pool: This was the absolute highlight of our stay. The water is kept at a perfect 38°C (100°F), making it incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend visiting after 8:00 PM when the pool becomes an 21+ area. * Thoughtful Details: The robes provided were high quality and very comfortable. Pro-tip: Be sure to bring flip-flops for the walk to and from the pool area. * Art & Dining: The murals throughout the hotel are fascinating to look at. We also had great experiences at the on-site bars and the Black Rabbit Restaurant, where both the food and the service were excellent. The Room & Stay Quality We specifically booked a room with a private bathroom and shower. However, most rooms at this location utilize communal facilities. Unfortunately, our room was located very close to the shared bathrooms and lavatories. Due to a complete lack of etiquette from other guests using those facilities, it was extremely noisy throughout the night. Because of the poor sleep quality and the noise levels, we likely won't be staying here again. It's a beautiful property, but the layout and noise issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our birthday celebration.
