My partner took me here for my birthday and wow was it delicious! The staff was very quick, and the restaurant itself was gorgeous, all the lights and pretty Sakura flowers made it an enjoyable dinner! The food was super hot and delicious, I got the tan tan ramen and it was the perfect spice level for me! I especially enjoyed sipping the broth, I left super full and satisfied!

It is a fun place with cute decorations to differentiate themselves with other average and plain looking ramen places. The ramen portions were big and lots of ingredients added. The soup base was amazing! I could just have the soup all day. We enjoyed the atmosphere and happy to have such place in Gresham!

Came by on Saturday for lunch. Wasn't too busy. Restaurant is decorated with lots of Japanese cats. They have a wall of Japanese anime toys. The food is very flavorful. I ordered a Tan Tan Ramen and Chicken rich broth. And taoyaki. Plenty of seating available. Some booths and some tables. You can also sit at the bar. The taoyaki was delicious. Very flavorful and yummy. I enjoyed the tan tan noodles with a little bit of mild spice. The chicken rich ramen was full of good chicken broth with 3 pieces of sliced chicken on top. Definitely preferred the chicken one because it was definitely more flavors in the broth. Very cute decorations in the restaurant. Umbrellas as decorations. All special unique dining chairs with pictures of Japanese designs on it.

The food was some of the best I've had. The crab puffs were perfect, didn't use sweet cream. The xiao long bao was the best I have ever had hands down! Got all four items in less than ten minutes, constant water refills even though I was only there for thirty minutes. The atmosphere was quiet and welcoming and the decorations were nice; a whole wall of dragon ball figures and beautiful designs of the chairs. Would 110% recommend! Will definitely be back.

Great service and beautiful decor! Loved my noddles and the only Jajangmyeon I know of in Gresham

    Cute automated ramen pulling decoration

Stumbled upon a new ramen shop at Gresham Station. It's a great addition to the Gresham area. The interior is so cute. I love the figurine wall decorations and cherry blossoms ceiling. Service was attentive and proactive. We came with a toddler and they were wonderful on accommodating any needs my little one have. Very family friendly and food came out quick that makes our dining experience easier with a kid. :) Now, I was so stoked on the food. Before coming, I saw Black Garlic ramen on the menu and that made me wanted to try this new place right away. There's barely any ramen place in the area that has black garlic broth. The one I can recall from is on the West side (too far for me). The ramen came out hot, with huge portions (a lot of toppings), and the garlicky umami broth were amazing! Although the ramen was delicious but I couldn't finish my bowl... the portion size was no joke! My partner got the mala spicy ramen and he liked it. We also ordered geso karaage as an appetizer and enjoyed that as well. For drinks, we tried the cheesy mango fruit tea (tastes like mango slushy with salted cream on top) and muteki house lemon tea (has a hint of fruity black tea flavor with smashed lime). Both were refreshing and perfect for the warm weather we've been having.

My friends and I came here on a weekend lunch date about a week after their grand opening and the Ramen did not disappoint. We all ordered the black garlic ramen and some dim sum. The ramen was flavorful, pork was cooked well, and the service was excellent. We love the ambience and the dragon ball z action figure wall. This place is slightly more expensive than most ramen restaurants but the quality matched the price. I would come here again.

Food and drinks were absolutely amazing!!! Such a great place and and great decor and such. But horrible customer service, we sat and waited for the check after we finished for 40 minutes. The people next to us just got up and left because no one came to our section. I get it's a new business and such but we don't expect to wait forever. Great food tho!

The sake flight was also tasty and fun. My partner found the matcha ipa to be unexpectedly good. The menu could be easier to read though! Inconsistent formatting and usage of pictures. Skip the croquettes though, these were bland deep fried breaded mashed potatoes that seems like they'd been heated from frozen mass produced. TLDR: Ramen AMAZING, croquettes meh.

The vegan and GF choices here were actually exciting. My friends ordered the vegan Khao Soi and the Kati noodle soups, and both were full, thoughtful dishes, not afterthoughts. It made dinner so much easier and way more enjoyable for our whole group. This isn't a traditional ramen shop, but my husband's black garlic chintan was every bit as satisfying as some of our favorite ramen spots back in the Bay. Rich, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering at $19 for a hearty bowl. (The others were slightly pricier at $24 a pop) That said, the star of the night was my spicy shrimp ramen. Easily. The broth reminded me of a laksa base with a deep, layered flavor heavy with aromatics and umami. The shrimp on top were excellent in their own right, perfectly seared, well-seasoned, and not just a garnish pretending to matter. I also want to give the ramen eggs a shout out. I can't believe how many places get this wrong. These beauties were perfectly marinated and served warm. It's one of my biggest pet peeves to have an ice cold ramen egg dropped into my hot soup and I appreciate the consideration given to addressing this common faux pas. Fast service, a beautiful outdoor patio with a great view, and food that genuinely impressed all of us. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

"Let me know if you have any questions!". We had questions about her menu items, and she answered them nicely and thoroughly, in detail. Okay, so we order two things: the S3 and the Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and here's what U think about each: Tonkotsu Ramen: -The Meat doesn't have a huge initial, impactful taste, but the flavor settles in a couple seconds after you bite it and it's a very soft, warming feeling. -The Broth is where the spice is, and it's not like "oh my mouth is on fire" it's the type of spice that hits you in the back of the throat, so it's bearable but I couldn't chug it personally, I had to take sips which is nice for someone who devours their food like there's no tomorrow (like me). -The Noodles are.. just your typical Ramen noodles, nothing special to add there but nothing bad to say at all! -The Egg, although not marinated in soy sauce like some places do, was cooked well. The inside was soft and gooey, but the white was fully cooked. I have no complaints! -The Mushrooms added a nice texture to the noodles and the overall dish, and worked to make it even more satisfactory. The S3: -I don't have much to say because my cousin ordered it and I only had a few bites, but the veggies were cooked nicely... -The big boom about it was the noodles. If I had to describe it, I would say it's like.. an Orange Chicken type of Tater Tot, it was really unique and fun to eat. Next time I go, it'll be hard to decide what to order.. Okay, don't just take my word for it, go see for yourself! いただきます!

I ordered the Dragon Roll and Las Vegas roll. Both were quite tasty. We also ordered the Agedashi Tofu as a starter, a 6 piece of the Oysters, the Salmon Sashimi Flight, and House Tonkotsu Ramen. The oysters were pretty small, but packed with flavor. The Salmon Sashimi tasted very fresh and we loved the assortment of pieces.

Mirakutei occupies the same space that a previous sushi restaurant occupied. If you are familiar…read morewith it, it has the same super upscale, swanky vibe and décor that the previous place had. If you want scenery, Mirakutei is probably unbeatable. When we arrived, the place was completely empty, save for one table. We should have taken this as a warning and left (Clackamas Town Center is ALWAYS crazily busy, and for a fancy restaurant there to be almost empty speaks volumes). Since we chose this place specifically based on the many positive reviews, we figured we'd give it a go. It pains me to write this review, but one star is what Mirakutei earned. The menu is, well, let's just call it "unexpected". I don't know what they're going for, but "pesto" on sushi doesn't seem like a fusion that should exist. We ordered a variety of items, and across the board, they were all terrible. Prices are also REALLY high. The "salmon flight" consisted of four pieces of salmon nigiri, each of a different variety. I don't know what any of them were, but only one of the three had any semblance of flavor, and one was probably the toughest piece of fish I've ever been served. The yellowtail fared slightly better, but it was garnished with what appeared to be off-cuts or scrap that had been chopped to oblivion. This garnish did NOTHING to add to the flavor, texture, or appeal of the nigiri. We also made the mistake of ordering the "Hello Kitty". Don't do this. It is a typical California roll sullied by a pressed patty of, again, what appear to be fish off-cuts that are chopped to oblivion, pressed into a patty shape, overcooked, and draped on top of a cut CA roll with each piece turned on its side. Again, this was just gross. The most egregious foul was the "salmon" that was in one half of one of the rolls. It had spoiled, and literally was a slimy fall-apart mush. There is NO excuse in the world for this, and much shame is due to the chef (or management for forcing the chef to use spoiled items). We pointed this out to our waitress, who was very apologetic, and brought out a complimentary piece of mochi ice cream to us in an impossibly short amount of time. It happened so quickly that it seems to have to be their standard procedure that everybody's at the ready to do ("If a guest calls us out for serving spoiled fish, bring them a piece of mochi ice cream"). We were extremely disappointed, and left with a lot of what we'd ordered uneaten, and both of us feeling queasy. We won't be back.
