Usually when a small eatery has a menu that covers several styles and cuisines, it's hit or miss whether the dishes can be done well. At Sakura Noodle, they've aced the ramen. Good noodle, flavorful broth, and the best cha shu we've ever had. The 4 slices of pork were thick-cut and nicely seared, plus you get a whole soft-cooked egg. I wish the portion were just a tad larger cuz it was so tasty. This food cart was in the Happy Valley station cart pod, a well-run albeit busy pod on Sunnyside in Happy Valley. If you want asian noodle but others in your group want something else, this IS the place to go.

Beef Bulgogi is awesome! Always fresh and consistent. Can order it not spicy as well. Has nice outdoor/indoor seating. Staff isn't always friendly and fast.

Their chicken wings are the best. Buffalo is amazing, seasoning is a dry rub that's unique and delicious. Definitely trying more flavors soon.

Sakura has a fitting spot at Happy Valley Station right between two of my other favorites, Montage and Fuego All Day, and it is the row of KINGS!!!!! After reading many reviews and ogling over pictures I opted for the Hell Ramen, spicy level 5 out of 10. Take a seat and get ready for heaven in a bowl of hell! Flavor upon flavor in the broth and each of the meats were melt in your mouth tender yet packed with flavor. Noodles were fresh and the egg was made perfectly. Sakura is making it even harder to decide where to go on that row and that says a lot.

I was honestly a little overwhelmed by the variety of choices available here at the Happy Valley Station, which my wife and I stumbled upon by accident. However, as soon as I saw the words "Spicy Beef Bulgogi" out of the corner of my eye, all doubt was cleared from my mind. This was it. This was what I wanted. I sauntered up to the window and placed my order, informing the owner to make it as spicy as possible. He chuckled, and after my order was handed to me, humbly requested I return to let him know what I thought of it, and "how it went". It went so, so very well! My order came to me in about 5 minutes, positively loaded with chili peppers and spicy goodness, a thick savory sauce, plenty of onions (I *love* green onions) and just the right amount of beef, I was in absolute heaven! It seemed a bit sacrilegious to order Korean from a Japanese(-named) food cart, even more so when ordering rice instead of noodles from a "noodle house" but whatever the ethnicity or choice of carb, these guys know what they're doing! A return to the Happy Valley Station food carts is a foregone conclusion, but to be honest, I may be spoilt for other choices. I'm pretty adventurous and enjoy quite a bit of variety in my dining options, but Sakura Noodle House might as well take over the entire food cart pod, because I'll be blind to everything else, like a frenzied bull charging a matador, I'll be seeing red (chili peppers) and won't stop for anything else!

Currently in town on a work trip and my boss decided to treat my coworker and I to the Happy Valley Station Food Carts. I must say it was a bit overwhelming and difficult to make one decision with all the great smells floating around. However Sakura Noodles definitely stood out for us. I'm a sucker for some good ramen so of course I had to try theirs while my boss and coworker tried their noodle dish. I can honestly say none of us were disappointed with our choices and you get so much bang for your buck. Definitely could not finish it all in one sitting. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area.

One of the best ramen bowls I have eaten in Pacific NW! I didn't expect too much because it was from a food truck but boy I was wrong ! The broth was so tasty! Chashiu was soft cooked to perfection and was sheared so it added a great flavor! I love spicy food so the level of spiciness in this bowl of ramen was on point. I am looking forward to the next time I get to slurp down this amazing Hell Ramen again from Sakura Noodle House !

I love their ramen! I've been all over the Portland area trying ramen and I have only found one other place that's comparable. I definitely recommend you try it.

I have no idea if there is ramen in Hell, but I found Hell Ramen ... and I'd consider a deal with the devil for it. Of course, if foodie hell has 7 levels, Happy Valley is somewhere between Wilsonville and Gresham. So, I quickly went from "where in the hell" to "why the Hell Ramen, not?" with the first spicy slurp from the Sakura Noodle House food cart at Happy Valley Station. To be honest ... and why the hell wouldn't I be ... I didn't care for the other food I tried from Sakura Noodle House. They seemed like cheap knock-offs of their Asian cousins; however, I'll be back for the Japanese-inspired sinfully spicy af (max spice level) and hellishly deep red ramen. To summarize: Popcorn Chicken? Hell no! Fried Tofu? Hella nope! Spicy Ramen? Hell Ramen! The Sakura Noodle House food cart may not be worth going to Hell (Happy Valley) for, but if you are already in Happy Valley (Hell), well, then hell yeah. Hey, Siri, go to Hell Ramen!

I ordered the Dragon Roll and Las Vegas roll. Both were quite tasty. We also ordered the Agedashi Tofu as a starter, a 6 piece of the Oysters, the Salmon Sashimi Flight, and House Tonkotsu Ramen. The oysters were pretty small, but packed with flavor. The Salmon Sashimi tasted very fresh and we loved the assortment of pieces.

Mirakutei occupies the same space that a previous sushi restaurant occupied. If you are familiar…read morewith it, it has the same super upscale, swanky vibe and décor that the previous place had. If you want scenery, Mirakutei is probably unbeatable. When we arrived, the place was completely empty, save for one table. We should have taken this as a warning and left (Clackamas Town Center is ALWAYS crazily busy, and for a fancy restaurant there to be almost empty speaks volumes). Since we chose this place specifically based on the many positive reviews, we figured we'd give it a go. It pains me to write this review, but one star is what Mirakutei earned. The menu is, well, let's just call it "unexpected". I don't know what they're going for, but "pesto" on sushi doesn't seem like a fusion that should exist. We ordered a variety of items, and across the board, they were all terrible. Prices are also REALLY high. The "salmon flight" consisted of four pieces of salmon nigiri, each of a different variety. I don't know what any of them were, but only one of the three had any semblance of flavor, and one was probably the toughest piece of fish I've ever been served. The yellowtail fared slightly better, but it was garnished with what appeared to be off-cuts or scrap that had been chopped to oblivion. This garnish did NOTHING to add to the flavor, texture, or appeal of the nigiri. We also made the mistake of ordering the "Hello Kitty". Don't do this. It is a typical California roll sullied by a pressed patty of, again, what appear to be fish off-cuts that are chopped to oblivion, pressed into a patty shape, overcooked, and draped on top of a cut CA roll with each piece turned on its side. Again, this was just gross. The most egregious foul was the "salmon" that was in one half of one of the rolls. It had spoiled, and literally was a slimy fall-apart mush. There is NO excuse in the world for this, and much shame is due to the chef (or management for forcing the chef to use spoiled items). We pointed this out to our waitress, who was very apologetic, and brought out a complimentary piece of mochi ice cream to us in an impossibly short amount of time. It happened so quickly that it seems to have to be their standard procedure that everybody's at the ready to do ("If a guest calls us out for serving spoiled fish, bring them a piece of mochi ice cream"). We were extremely disappointed, and left with a lot of what we'd ordered uneaten, and both of us feeling queasy. We won't be back.

Anyone looking for hand-pulled noodles: as of May 2025, you will not find them here. They apparently stopped serving them. May return for: Beef In Chili Sauce (cold) - I love this dish and have had it at many other places. Chili oil was delicious; onions and cilantro went well with the thin slices of beef. Would not return for: anything else. Taiwan Beef Brisket Tomato Noodle soup - it was bland broth, unfortunately. Uncooked spinach and tomatoes added on top, very little flavor. Brisket was not very soft. Mongolian Beef Chow Mein - there was a puddle of sauce at the bottom of the bowl, which I would not expect for chow mein. Definitely not cooked in a wok (or done very poorly). Handmade spicy pork wontons - also not flavorful. If they used the chili oil on the Beef in Chili dish, this might taste better. But the filling would something to be desired.

One of my boys liked the tomato beef noodle and finished the bowl with lightning speed. This is a good spot for a quick noodle meal.

This ramen actually takes the cake as my least favorite ramen I've ever had :( When they don't give you a spoon with your ramen, I'm assuming it means you're not supposed to want the broth. I mean if I would've ate it there I would've returned it dry, and I neverrrr return food. The ramen comes with spinach, which is new for me, and I will definitely not elect for it again. I ordered miso with pork chashu and asked for it to be spicy... the broth taste like nothing. Taking a sip of water between bites and I can't taste the difference between the two. No salt, no flavor, nothing. The ingredients other than the spinach I can't taste. The spinach overpowered everything. So basically eating boiled spinach in water. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.
