This has become my favorite cart in the Happy Valley pod. The menu is an interesting mix of Korean, Japanese, and Hawaiian, which is nice to be able to mix it up each visit. My go-tos are the Shoyu or Teriyaki chicken plates, the Kalua Pork Plate, or the Bibimbap. My only do-betters are that the teriyaki chicken can sometimes be dry, and I wish both the chicken dishes came with a sauce. They do have sriracha packets if you ask. The plates come with rice, a small lettuce salad and dressing (could use a little more of that sometimes), and a mac salad with pretty simple black pepper seasoning. It's a good amount of food for the price. I also really appreciate, and choose to visit K-Bop, because they use the compostable clamshell containers, and not the wasteful single-use plastic like so many others. I ordered the bulgogi, and there was so much food I ended up eating it for two meals, the meat was tender, super flavorful, and had yummy bites of carrot. The rice was sticky and the perfect amount. False advertisement! Advertising cheap white fish as "Mahi Mahi"...Ordered the "Mahi Mahi"...what I received was NOT Mahi Mahi. When I opened the container, the fish looked so familiar to me. It looked exactly like the frozen battered white fish you buy from a grocery store --- maybe Van Kamp's frozen fish fillets or Gorton's. There was so much batter and the fish was very thin. Even the frozen battered fish you get at Costco has more meat and not just full of batter. I know the taste of Mahi Mahi and when I took the first bite, I knew it was not Mahi Mahi. Found this new food cart at the happy valley station. To begin the menu looks amazing. Enough choices to make it interesting and easy ordering process. The staff was amazing. Extremely friendly and inviting. The few questions I had about portions and flavors were answered and were accurate to what I received I got the bimibop bowl, if I spelled it correctly. Noodles, white rice, choice of veggies and choice of protein. You also choose your sauce. Buddy got the loco moco. We were more than satisfied with our dishes. The flavors were bold and portions perfect. The prices was very reasonable and came to just over $20 for two. This is my new favorite food cart at the happy valley station. I finally decided to try one of the newer food carts at Happy Valley station. It's close by and has lots of options. This place is first cart on the right as you come in from the main parking lot area. The menu is easy to read with clear options and pricing. I went with the teriyaki...err...Hawaiian grilled chicken spicy, with white rice and salad. $9 The chicken was cooked well, a little char here and there. You can have the original sauce, or as I got, the spicy Korean gochujang sauce. The sauce is original in terms of a spicy teri sauce...not terribly spicy but tasty. Chicken was cooked, not dry There is a scoop of white rice, salad and side of Mac. The Mac dropped it down one star, it was kinda bland for me. I really like Bamboo Grove, Roxy's Mac salad. I was super excited to see that a new korean/hawaiian food cart was about to open up. I LOVE korean and hawaiian food. Anyways they have bibimbap and it's a create your own bowl. You get to choose your veggies, protien, and sauce. I got the bibimbap with all the veggies, spicy pork and with the spicy korean sauce. It did not disappoint. The egg was cooked perfectly, the yolk was runny. All the veggies tasted super fresh and was not soggy. I like a little crunch texture of veggies. I would definitely come back and try the other dishes and also try the bibimbap with a different type or protein and sauce. We also tried the loco moco which was pretty good too! Hands down one of my favorite food carts! I've never had such a juicy Shoyu Chicken and I will always come here when I'm craving! I'm usually hesitant to order Shoyu Chicken because most of the time it is dry. I can't even make it to my liking at home - but they nailed it! My husband loves Loco Moco and says this is his favorite place to get it. Also, I really appreciate that they don't skimp out on the mac salad cause I LOVE mac salad. I admit we haven't really made it a point to go to HV Station (price point seems high for food carts and portions) but I popped in with my kids for lunch after their Ortho appt and found this gem. I ordered 2 of their Bibim bowls and it was definitely worth the $10. This is a difficult dish to make as it requires a bunch of the Korean side dishes to be mixed in. My kids even gobbled it down, veggies and all. The one on the left is with the beef and house special sauce (kind of a teriyaki flavor) and the right is the spicy pork with the spicy Korean sauce. I would've gave this place 4 or 5 stars. The food was delicious and the pictures on the menu looked exactly like what I got. The prices are reasonable. However, I ordered 2 sides and I MADE SURE to remind them that the sides were in my order. The lady swore she put the orders in my plate. When I got home I didn't see any of those sides in my plate. Finally got around to trying this cart and it's pretty solid if you have a Korean + Hawaiian food craving in the area. Highly recommend the Loco Moco and custom Bibim bowl (w/ Spicy Korean or House sauce). The Loco Moco meat is well seasoned (teriyaki style perhaps?) and does not taste like they gave you a hamburger patty from a backyard bbq. The patty packs a good amount of flavor not making you feel tired of eating it. Best Loco Moco I've had in town, and to be honest it tastes better than any Loco Moco I've had in Hawaii. Shoyu chicken and chicken are ok, but I'd much rather have the Loco Moco or Bibim bowl. read more

While the food was hot, it was lacking majorly in flavor. I had the kahlua pork and it was sooooo mediocre. Juicy but no flavor. Mac salad was as bland as bland gets.
