Overall it's yummy except I took a star away because they are very sloppy with the way they put the wasabi and ginger into the takeout containers. If you're someone like me that hates wasabi but loves ginger you'll be disappointed because it's a very small amount of ginger and they're both in a blob so I have to trash all of it and wipe off the nearby rolls the wasabi got all over it would be so much better if they were included separately in little plastic containers instead of tumbling all over the food. I go here 100% of the time when at the Happy Valley Food Carts. I order the Spider Crunchy. It's fried crab (I believe) and then cucumber, rice, avocado, seaweed, rice crisps with their sauces. It's always FRESH! I never try other items but they have a giant menu of items. If I would go back or not, I'd return :) I love their cart & they're always friendly. "Why did you order these rolls?"Chill, I was with my kids and tiny humans have their own tastes. I'm just happy they let me take them to get sushi. The broth, boo, it was good. It had a hint of spice that I loved because I'm slowly introducing spice to my half Mexican gremlins. They loved it too! The rolls were good too! Not bad! Especially for a food truck and one that's so far out from the coast. And pricing is decent given the location of the trucks. I got the mango ahi poke sushiritto for $12(? I think) and the ordering/pick-up process was seamless. I was able to easily find a table to enjoy my food. Wasabi PDX is one of the few places near the Portland area that offers sushi burritos (which is the main reason we wanted to stop by, tbh). And we're so glad that we did! It is a part of Happy Valley station, which has a variety of other food carts as well. They have a nice indoor sitting area where you can grab a beer while you wait or if you decide to eat there. I ordered the samurai dragon and it was pretty good. Not only that it was very reasonably priced ($9) for what you get. It had salmon, eel, surimi crab, avocado, and cucumbers with a spicy sauce. They also have regular sushi rolls and poke bowls. I was planning to head to the food carts with my pooch when instead I spotted this place on the corner advertising sushi donuts. Sushi donuts? What? We stopped dead in our track beelined over. I was starving and everything on the menu sounded good which made making a decision very difficult. I ordered way more than I needed to including: a seared salmon with crab filling donut, spicy tuna with tuna/salmon filling donut, and a wasabi Cheeto burrito. The Cheeto burrito was my favorite. It was filled with thinly sliced cucumber and carrot which gave it a really fresh crunch. The burrito itself was very filling and beyond satisfying. The inside of the restaurant offers about 3 tables and some seating at the sushi bar. The outside of the restaurant has about 4 picnic tables and is dog friendly. I just tried this food cart for the first time and LOVED it! It is situated in a great location (Happy Valley Station) with an indoor tap house right in the middle! The Omega 3 Poke bowl is our absolute favorite! We called in our order and was ready on time.

Fresh and delicious! The unagi, sake and maguro were all great! These are my test nigiri when I try a sushi place. I also have sampled the Cali roll, Rainbow roll, tuna roll, krab hand roll, and sushi burrito thingie. All were delicious and if I'm in the area I would go back again. I've been multiple times now and enjoyed each meal. Ordering is super fast and the people are kind. There are plenty of seats inside and outside with both sun and shade. I only waited about 10 minutes for my order to be completed too. That's super lightning speed for sushi making. The platters are great because you get a variety and can share with people. I shared the $32 platter so far, haven't had the larger ones yet. The sushi burrito idea is great too. When making sushi at home I don't always cut it since I'm just going to eat it anyway... I slice it if I'm presenting it on a platter or eating with other people. My criticisms of the food are small, the sushi rice could be a bit more seasoned for my preference and the rolls were messy (too much rice inside so the nori couldn't close and rice outside of nori wrapper). Now... I do understand you're a food cart and you want to crank out food fast! :) Something that would also help your customers is if you'd have a lighted pager system so people would know when their food is ready to pick up. I usually go to food cart pods with a group because there's a huge variety, but that also means people are walking around to multiple carts. Wasabi Sushi PDX is nothing short of amazing. I grew up on the Oregon coast so seafood is one of my favorites. Being new to the Portland area I was trying to get a sense of some good seafood around me. While scrolling through Door Dash, I saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I oredered the Ocean Poke Bowl and the Philly Roll. I was a bit hesitant ordering raw fish this far away from the coast but I was very pleasantly suprised when I took that first bite. The rice was cooked perfectly for my taste and the fish tasted like it was pulled from the ocean that same day! I am excited to try more things from this resturaunt! read more

Terrible service the past three times I've reached out for a call in order. Tonight ICalled to ask what kind of poke bowls they offered, as I noticed their menu had changed last time I was there. The employee was rude and said "we have a lot." I asked what they were and he said I would have to go online to find a menu. If you don't have 30 seconds and the courtesy to answer a customers question about your menu, then you should rethink your capability to do your job properly. You're in the hospitality industry. Sushi Donuts :O Super cool looking and tastes even better! I have seen many interesting instagram posts about this place and of course when I came all the way to visit, I had to get my picture. We went to the Happy Valley food truck location. I got the Spicy Tuna Donut and the Sear Salmon Donut. Super cute and instagram worthy. You can't really go wrong with sashimi and rice. We got the biggest party platter they had ($65) which if you think about it, is about what you might spend going to one of the higher scale places. After reading all the great reviews, I thought I would give this place a try. I ordered the "Hawaiian Dragon", which has tuna on top with crab salad, avocado, cucumber and spicy sauce. The moment I got it, I can tell it was not going to taste that great. The tuna layered on top had a very light pinkish color, which means, it was not as fresh. Another day and it probably would turn light brown! Also, the spicy sauce was very light on top and was lacking in rich taste. The inside was a little tasteless as well, considering it was suppose to be like a cali roll with tuna on the outside. I was so disappointed! The Salmon Poke Bowl made for a very happy dinner. Fresh cucumbers, carrots, edamame, and salmon drizzled with a sesame wasabi sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds, all over a bed of warm sushi rice.
